Hello BraveHeart Sisters,

Have you heard that we have entered a time within which will dawn a global community? :O

Apparently it will take some time. But the exciting part is that we - that's right, you and I - will have an opportunity to be at the forefront of the change through our BraveHeart Women's Global Community!

How?
- By taking inner and outer action with a sense of joy and service;
- By letting go of our puny ego and our big fear;
- By empowering ourselves with our heart, our love and our truth;
- By moving away from all forms of darkness and moving toward all forms of light;
- And by feeling a sense of gratitude, oneness and our own soul-power!

It is time to be courageous, to walk our talk and not to let our dreams fade.

Let us remember to live as if our Global Community has already dawned, as if love is more predominant than fear, as if abundance for all is the law of the land. We can do it - one day at a time!

What action have you taken today?

image001.jpgShe is a Money Angel!

I found this cute little Money Angel in an e-mail from one of my friends. She couldn't resist sending it and neither can I.

What can we do with a Money Angel? We can keep her with us as a reminder that we have many angels around us at all times to help us live in abundance.

Whenever you notice any kind of abundance in your life, you can simply touch your thumb (a favorite resting place for Money Angels), and say 'Thank you for the abundance in my life!'

Suppose you see a shiny penny on the sidewalk as you get out of your car (a sign of abundance in your life!) As you pick it up, you touch your thumb and say, 'Thank you for the abundance in my life!'

This will help fill your Gratitude Treasure Chest for the day. How many Money Angels do you keep with you?

Earl Nightingale is famous for telling the story of 'Acres of Diamonds'. He tells of a farmer who got so excited about finding diamonds that he sold his land to go out and search for diamond mines. He searched everywhere for a diamond mine yet found nothing.

The story goes that the person who bought this farmer's land found that he actually had on his land one of the largest diamond mines ever discovered. The farmer who sold his land had been literally standing on acres of diamonds.

Diamonds in the rough look like pieces of black coal and because he didn't recognize what a 'raw' diamond looked like, he missed out on the treasure he already had.

How are we like that farmer of long ago and what is our lesson? Instead of developing the possibilities that we have within reach in our current situation, we are constantly searching elsewhere for life's treasures, feeling that the grass is greener on the other side.

What treasures do you have in your life that you have overlooked and failed to appreciate?
Look around you carefully with the intention of finding at least one 'diamond' today.

What does that diamond look like? A piece of coal? A child's smile? A Grandpa's whiskers? A dusty old jar?
Look carefully! I am sure you will find something in your 'acres of diamonds'!

My 'diamond' for the day: today I e-mailed one of my cousins I hadn't been in touch with for months. She is sending three quilts to me that she feels I would like to have. They are hand made by our Grandmother. A very nice and memorable diamond to find!

Take the time to look for your 'diamond' today!
What did you find?

Are you finding the time to do all that you need to do? All that you want to do? All that you came here to do?
What do we mean by 'finding' the time?
1199586_time_stands_still.jpg
Is time hiding somewhere? Why do we 'look' for something that is not lost, not hiding, and for that matter, that cannot be seen?
When we say, "I cannot 'find' the time to do . . . . ", we play the role of a victim. 'Poor me. I am just so busy that time has eluded me and I cannot find enough of it to do as I want!

We live in a world of abundance, creativity and choice. I choose to decide how I manage my time, how I spend my time, how I waste my time and how I lose my time.

We have heard the expression, 'time stood still'. When we live fully in the moment, time has a way of shaping itself to our needs.

How often have you thought, "I will never finish this on time!" Then, you make a decision to put your head down, your intensity cap on, and at the stroke of the hour - finished!!!

When we intend to have enough time for a particular activity, the time/space is prepared in order to complete that activity. We sabotage ourselves by not taking the necessary action in order to complete our intended activity.

Befriend time. It will work for you. Set your intention. Take action. Now you know how to manifest time!
Use your time well!
;) :-x

Perspective is a fascinating word; the meaning changes depending upon where an individual is 'standing.'
The following short story illustrates:
One day the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
1164625_barn_and_small_lake.jpg
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what might be considered a very poor family.

On the return from the trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”
“It was great dad.”
“Did you see how poor people live?
the father asked.
“Oh yeah,” said the son.
“So tell me what you learned from the trip,” asked the father.

The son answered, “I saw that we have one dog and they have four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond.
We have servants who serve us but they serve others.
We buy our food but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us; they have friends to protect them.

The boy’s father was speechless. Then his son added, “Thanks, dad for showing me how poor we are.”

Who was the teacher here?
Who had true abundance?

Perhaps those of us who are fretting about 'stuffology' should stand in the boy's shoes for a moment and give thanks for everything we have instead of worrying about what we don’t have.
What recession?

Taking a fresh view of how I perceive all things!

Those who deeply connect with the natural abundance we find in nature, are stimulating and enhancing many of their 53 natural senses. What does this mean on a daily basis? These are the people who more often wear a smile on their face and a song in their heart.
826399_hoh_trail.jpg
When you go outdoors to get into your car, do you consciously feel the warm sun on your skin, the cool breeze on your brow or do you deny the pleasures of these sensations?

When we disconnect ourselves from nature and our 53 natural senses, we limit our life experience to a severe numbing down of sensation and emotion.

See article: From [i]Reconnecting With Nature and The Web of Life Imperative, by Michael J. Cohen, Ph.D.

Cohen identified 53 natural senses that he and his students had experienced during 26 years living and teaching outdoors. Usually we think in terms of having 5 or 6 senses at our disposal. Consider some of the 53 senses listed by Cohen:
- Sense of moods and identities attached to colors
- Sense of temperature and temperature change
- Awareness of pressure, particularly underground, underwater, and to wind and air
- Appetite or hunger for food, water and air
- Pain, external and internal.
- Sense of play, sport, humor, pleasure and laughter
- Sense of time
- Aesthetic sense, including creativity and appreciation of beauty, music, literature, form, design and drama

By connecting as much and as often as possible with nature and utilizing our 53 senses, our lives are enhanced immensely.

We are conditioned to living indoors but when we visit natural areas outdoors, we re-awaken and re-vitalize our many natural senses. This brings a new awareness or new consciousness to our brain/being.

We feel re-connected to our larger self; we feel rejuvenated; we luxuriously 'swim' in the natural world with a new understanding of our world and of our life; we re-connect with our Soul-Power.

Be in nature today - every day!

Train yourself to see the world differently and you will be training yourself to see 'outside of the box'. Why would you want to see the world as others see it?: fear based; economic catastrophy; distrust of all; "The sky is falling, Chicken Little!"
33914931_27069503.thinkOutsideTheBox.jpg
In order to create a different reality for yourself, for your family and for your brothers and sisters around the world, you must take responsibility to train yourself to see the world differently.

How can you do that?

- Refuse to believe what you see and hear about our world situation(s). Constantly ask questions. Why? Why? Why?

- Lack, negativity and worry, does not exist for you. Choose instead harmony, oneness and self-empowerment.

- Paint the picture of your world as soon as you awake and just before going to sleep at night. Color it with light, abundance, joy and love.

- Choose to see what you want to see, not what appears to be so. For example, while walking in the park, what appears to be so is that the water fountain is broken in the pond, the water is stagnant and the ducks and geese are nowhere to be found. What do you choose to see? Beautiful water fountains all over the pond, clear water with ducks and geese swimming everywhere.

What good does this do? The above process activates your creativity to help provide solutions to correct what it is that you do not like. In our example above, you remember that your friend's Dad is connected to the Parks Department and he can initiate the repair of the water fountains. So you make the phone call, the fountains are repaired, the ducks and geese come back and your capacity to see the world differently has manifested beautifully!

What solutions have you created by seeing the world differently and thinking outside the box?

Train yourself to see the world differently. Begin now!

Are you able to 'aspire today and allow the future to take care of itself? Some will say, "Let the future take care of itself? That is too scary"
6298291_72876838.aspirationPlant.jpg
When you aspire, you are sowing seeds of your immediate and distant 'future'. You want your aspiration-seeds to bear fruit but when you worry about the future, what kinds of seeds are you planting? Only those of doubt, fear, worry, anxiety, and in some cases, panic.

The past we can think of as dust; we do not belong to the past. The past is the result of seeds we have previously planted and has not given us what we want today.

To aspire, means to go beyond your current mental, emotional and physical circumstances, beyond your present consciousness. We want to take our lives to the next level. Today, as we aspire, we are planting only the newness-seeds of what we want to create as our new reality.

Spend time with your aspirations. Within you is an inner treasure, an inner abundance. This is your heart and soul from where your lofty and progressive aspirations originate. Go there. Aspire! Allow the future to take care of itself! :)

What are your aspirations for today?

ist1_6327714-buried-treasure-chest.jpgLook around you, really look - for the abundance of treasure that is all around you. Looking for treasure means looking for something that you value greatly, something you cherish, have love for and hold dear.

Why would you want to know what you treasure in life? Well, we know that what we think about, have strong emotions about and act upon, we easily attract back into our experience. When you treasure something, would you not want more of that in your life?

To help reveal to yourself what you truly treasure in your life, imagine that you are going on a 'Treasure Hunt'. To begin, take a pen, a small notebook, your 'Treasure Hunt glasses' and a smile.

At the top of the first page of your notebook, write, "I commit to finding at least 7 treasures in my life today." Then sign your name right underneath.

As a treasure is revealed to your consciousness, write down what the treasure is and write one sentence that expresses how you feel about the treasure. Example: I am happy and grateful for the treasure of my early morning walks in the park. I feel so refreshed and enjoy the beauty of the early light, the frisky squirrels and the friendliness of the huge forest trees.

It is important that you include the 'happiness factor' and 'gratitude factor' in the statement that you write. Because we so often dis-connect from our feelings, it is very important to connect with the positive feelings you have with regard to each specific 'treasure'.

What do you truly love about your life?
What do you cherish and wish you had more of?
What are your top three Treasures?
Keep looking for the abundance of treasure all around you. Add to your list.
What do your heart and soul treasure?

Last summer I had mostly tomato plants in my tiny garden (I say tiny because my Dad had a garden that required a tractor.) I also had peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, basil and parsley, but my tomatoes were most plentiful. I bought regular plants from the nursery and they tasted most delicious.

This year, while shopping at one of the huge organic markets, I noticed that they had a large outdoor section of organic plants. Needless to say, I stopped by and bought 5 or 6 organic tomatoes - nothing else. I felt they would be more healthful than the ones from the nursery. Since then we have had so much rain, that I did not plant any other vegetable.
ist1_7005236-cherry-tomatos.jpg
Two days ago I picked my first organic cherry tomatoes, ripe off of the vine. OMG~ they were so sweet and tasty. I didn't even wait until I got inside to wash them. I ate them right then and there. Pure delight! I had a 'living in the moment' experience. :-D B-)

Here I was, wondering what Mother Nature was up to with so much rain. But she gave me her most delicious bounty anyway!
Today I got a few more, including a couple of larger tomatoes.

Why am I writing about my organic tomatoes? Because I want to offer my gratitude to the Universe for the simple pleasures of life. I guess I could say 'Mother Nature' is one of my treasures that I cherish. :-x

Gratitude
(and yum) :-D :-p

ist2_3152015-glorious-morning.jpgIt A-L-L shows: your radiance, your confidence, your light - AND, everything else that you are thinking, feeling and believing.

In other words, we are all open books to most other people. We all know persons who upon entering a room, make everyone feel that they are viewing the morning sunrise.

Sometimes we forget that when we walk into a room, others can tell when we are happy, when we are pre-occupied, when we are 'down' or depressed and especially, when we are stepping into our power, our confidence, our radiance and our light.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we were able to radiate love, joy and kindness at every moment? Depending on how intensely and how often we focus on these kinds of states of being and how much we believe we are actually aligned with these states, will depend upon what people see and feel when they are within our immediate circle of influence.

Awareness helps. One-pointed focus helps. Intention helps. There are many ways to help ourselves move along the progression line of self-improvement. What are some of the ways you empower and manifest your radiance, your confidence and your light?

Imagine all can see your radiance, your confidence and your light immanating from the very core of your being!!! It all shows~
This is your magnificence, your soul-power!!! Beautiful!

Are you keeping playfulness in your life?
When was the last time you felt playful?

ist1_4625200-piggyback.jpg
What does it mean to be playful? To have a playful consciousness, is to be full of fun, to be high spirited, and to find humor in your life experiences. Find something to laugh about. Take action that creates joy for yourself and others. This is your consciousnes of playfulness.

Even during our 'so-called' work day, we can keep a light spirit or find humor in our interactions or circumstances.

An easy way to view playfulness is to simply watch children.
Or imagine a kitten playing with a ball of string, rolling around on the floor and getting very nicely tangled.

Or visualize a puppy chasing endlessly after a stick or a ball that its person-friend throws so they can play catch and fetch.
What fun!!! What abandon!!! How energizing!!! Feel the joy that is created in and through your playfulness!

How playfulness would look for you is an individual thing. Each person feels playfulness in different ways. Experiment as you go about your day. Rather than wait until you see someone, be playful all by yourself. Sometimes it is easier to experiment with playfulness when no one is there to see what you are being/doing or to judge you.

Why should you keep playfulness in your life? We are are looking for joy in our lives. Even as we wish for more money, more abundance, what we are ultimately wishing for is more JOY!!!

Put a little more playfulness in your life!!!
Give yourself more joy. Joy is what your soul is all about!
You will be happy, your soul will be happy and those in your circle of influence will be happy!
How do you keep playfulness in your life?

Enjoy a Play Day!!!

All love and gratitude to our BraveHeart RISE Team, especially to our MasterMinds, Ellie and Charlie Drake!!!

Every detail was lovingly attended to and brilliantly executed. Our weekend was a memorable celebration, delightfully unforgettable, incredibly inspirational and a 'first' for BraveHearts.

Beginning Thursday evening at our drumming session at BraveHeart RISE in Los Angeles, I found myself greeting friends I had only known through words and photos from our BraveHeart blogs. What a special joy!!! :-D

Experiencing the varied abundance of empowered and dynamic personalities who presented to us during our three days at RISE, was fascinating and reminded us of all that we can be.

Looking forward to hearing more of Ellie's vision for this coming year and the many ways that we can participate as all BraveHearts RISE in oneness ~ ~ ~ :-x

With love,
