Kathy Bibby: Bold

Lately, I've had such a myriad of epiphany's coming through that its caused a myriad of "ego-thoughts" to rise up too.

I would like to believe that I'm not letting the negative thoughts "land" and become part of my belief of who I really am but it's been one big challenge!

My genuine intentions of what I really want and deserve for myself get subdued by what I've come to know as "limiting beliefs" of myself, aka, falsehoods. Arggggh, I hear: "I'm stupid, I'm wrong, I can't do that!" what if_______happens?!"

But, (and this is a BIG but) I am now really getting what the term "What is Is" and everything else is a lie. Acceptance of "what is" simply means I live in the present, in the now, and using my "right" mind to make intelligent decisions, without judgment and old, tired stories. It is also what LeighTaylor Young and Ellie touched on in their interview on BraveHeart TV.

This is a clip of Byron Katie. The link is to her website about "The Work". Enjoy.

The following article talks about the scientific evidence that the human heart has its' own intelligence. It also speaks to all the implications for us and especially our children.

Approach with and open mind, and especially, an open heart.
This is a excerpt from the interview, the link to the entire piece is below.

An Interview with JOSEPH CHILTON PEARCE
by Chris Mercogliano and Kim Debus
from JOURNAL OF FAMILY LIFE magazine, Vol. 5 #1 1999

"The idea that we can think with our hearts is no longer just a metaphor, but is, in fact, a very real phenomenon. We now know this because the combined research of two or three fields is proving that the heart is the major center of intelligence in human beings. Molecular biologists have discovered that the heart is the body's most important endocrine gland. In response to our experience of the world, it produces and releases a major hormone, ANF - which stands for Atriol Neuriatic Factor - that profoundly effects every operation in the limbic structure, or what we refer to as the "emotional brain." This includes the hippocampal area where memory and learning take place, and also the control centers for the entire hormonal system. And neurocardiologist have found that 60 to 65% of the cells of the heart are actually neural cells, not muscle cells as was previously believed. They are identical to the neural cells in the brain, operating through the same connecting links called ganglia, with the same axonal anddendritic connections that take place in the brain, as well as through the very same kinds of neurotransmitters found in the brain."

I'm part of a Toastmaster's group in Palo Alto, CA. We meet at 6:30 a.m.! Sounds crazy but some incredible things come out of people at that time in the morning!

Today's "theme" for the meeting was Inventions. I pondered who my favorite inventor is and came up with Buckminster Fuller.

In his early 20's, Bucky was considering suicide and was drinking a lot. He had a revelation and came to the conclusion that he was all ready dead and didn't have anything to lose, so he dedicated the rest of his life to an experiment to see what one person could accomplish in terms of learning the way things work by looking at the way nature designs things in order to make things workable for humans.

For a year and a half he barely said a word. He vowed that he would not talk until he knew what he was talking about.

He began to look at nature...the way bones, cells, and beehives were designed and compared that to the way humans were designing. He realized that the people who were designing were doing so out of habit, politics, and laziness. He committed the rest of his life to designing things more similar to the way nature designs.

He had extraordinary vision.

"I am not a thing — a noun. I seem to be a verb, an evolutionary process — an integral function of the universe." ~ Buckminster Fuller

Do you have a favorite inventor?

With Love,

Kathy

I was extremely touched by the memorial service for Michael Jackson yesterday. It is obvious to me that his death will probably have more of a positive impact than his life.

Yes, he was a weirdo to some who only saw what the press, et al, made him out to be. Granted he was eccentric and was even grotesque to some who saw his physical changes as mental illness. But who is really to know? (this is a sincere question on my part)

It was obvious by the service that Michael Jackson's legacy is what he gave to us in terms of entertainment, inspiration and a deeper look into who we are...Love, Peace, and Light..."We Are The World."

I send my prayers to his family and his friends and will commit to letting my light shine!
