As I read the meaningful and helpful blogs my BraveHeart sisters have written
this last week, my heart is touched by the pure intention and caring thoughts
that are offered and shared.
As I read your clear intention and practical advise, I wonder how can I inspire you to know that the foundation of our intention must be clarity, if we are
going to be able to stay on purpose until we meet our goals.
What does clarity mean to you? How do you see clarity's role in being committed to your purpose? Are you aware that women have been discouraged from having clarity, because it was considered a masculine trait?
I started the "Sisterhood of Clarity" because I am passionate about sharing the wisdom I have gained from clarity.
Clarity is the voice of awareness, it reflects the truth of our situation, just as a mirror reflects what is in front of it. Clarity is an attribute of our true
nature and is always filled with love, compassion, warmth, integrity, truth and boldness. Clarity show us what is influencing us and our choices and whether
these influences are supporting us in living our ideal life, or unconsciously undermining our dreams.
Clarity shows us what is blocking us from creating the life we want and how to
dissolve these blocks.
Clarity also shows us what is creating our suffering and how to alleviate it so the joy of our nature can bubble up. With clarity our spirits will soar and our
inner light will shine.
To see what clarity means to you do the following:
Take a few minutes now and close your eyes and bring your awareness inside. Listen to the sound of your in breathe and the sound of your out breathe. Allow your self to consciously breath four in breathes and four out breathes. Now ask yourself, what does clarity mean to me? Trust the first answer that arises. If nothing arises, stay with the stillness. Trust the process. There are no right or wrong answers there are only our answers. Please share your experience.
May we grow in clarity together,
Radha

Many of us have experienced that we sometimes unconsciously undermine our own dreams...
I am inspired to share with you a process to bring you deeper into clarity.
In my recent blog, Helen talked about how fear stops her from being committed to her purpose by causing her to worry about such things as: "will I bother someone, what if I fail, what if I succeed"? I am sure many of us can relate to these fears and probably add a few more to the list.
I know one that comes up for me is the fear of being shamed.
What are the fears that arise for you?
Let"s do this exploration together:
Sit in a comfortable position. Close your eyes. Gently bring your awareness within. Listen to the sound of your in breathe and the sound of your out breathe. Allow your awareness to be with your breathing as you take 3 more breathes. Now ask yourself who would I be if I lived a purposeful life?
Visualize or write who this person is in as much detail as you can, take your time. How would you dress, how would you walk, how would you talk, how would you feel about yourself, how would you relate to others, what would you do differently?
These are some questions to answer, you may think of others. Paint your picture in your mind or on a piece of paper. The picture may be the written, it may be images, poetry, music. Allow whatever arises for you to be expressed. Take about 10 minutes to do this. Now sense yourself and see how you are impacted.
Please, share your experience with us. By doing this exploration you will be motivated to allow these old patterns to dissolve and choose new patterns that serve who you truly are, not who you think others want you to be in order for you to get their love and approval.

Together we will grow in clarity,
This is the month that brings up the idea of love for many of us.
I have been contemplating the meaning of love, and would like to
share some of my thoughts with you.
There are many ways we experience love in our lives, usually we
think of and experience love in relation to a love object: such as;
love for a child, love for a husband or wife, love for our family,
love for a friend, love for our Self, love for God.
Many people associate love with other objects, love of fun, love
of food, love of laughter, love of dancing, love of creativity,
love of sex, love of romance, love for our career, love of animals,
love of nature. The list varies from person to person.
Some believe it is only worthwhile to love certain objects and
less worthy to love others. I see it differently.
The State of Love is filled with certain intrinsic attributes,
which are always positive, regardless of where the love is directed.
Some of these attributes are caring, joy, fulfillment, and kindness,
to name a few.
When we are in the State of Love we experience and benefit from the
qualities of that state, whether we share our love with another or
keep it inside. Often when we share our experience of love, it grows.
It is not what or whom we love, but rather that we love, that brings
its own reward.
Love can be expressed regardless of our circumstances; such as in an act
of kindness towards someone we know, or don't know, having compassion
for our limitations, smiling at a stranger, helping someone in need,
or accepting someone as they are, rather than rejecting them for not
living up to our expectations.
The State of Love is within each of us, whether we know it or not. Love
is a quality of Being. It is one of life's miracles because it heals the
one that feels it, the more we give love the more love we have. We never
deplete our love by giving it away, it is totally free, and always available.
I encourage you to be playful with love, see if you can give love to something
or someone every day and become aware of how this makes you feel.
Together we will grow in clarity,
Radha

When we make a judgment about ourselves or others, we hold
a position, holding a position by definition implies lack of
movement.
All life is in motion, change is happening constantly,
nothing in the physical world is static. We are in a
constant flow of life that is always changing. Every thought,
feeling and event makes an impression on us, whether
consciously or unconsciously, which changes us. The earth
moves, the waters and seas flow.
When we make a judgment we rarely revisit it to see if it
is still true, instead it gets set in stone. These stones
block our ability to flow in the moment with what is. They
stop or hinder our creativity, our openness to something or
someone new.
On a deeper level every judgment we have about someone else
we also have about ourselves. In time, these judgments cause
us to hold rigid attitudes and beliefs that are also reflected
in our bodies which become more rigid and less flexible.
With clarity we will shed the light of awareness on our
judgments and understand that these judgments are inhibiting
our growth, fulfillment and peace of mind.
Naturally, we have opinions about many people and things,
however opinions are different than judgments. When we make
a judgment we know we are right, therefore, anyone who sees
it differently is wrong. When we have an opinion about something
there is room for others to have different opinions. This allows
for many views to be expressed without making anyone wrong or right.
Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and listen to the
sound of three in breathes and three out breathes.
State one area in your life that you have judgments on i.e. health,
your ability to stay on purpose, your ability to create prosperity.
Open your eyes and list three judgments you have in this area…
sense yourself while you are writing these judgments, check your
breathing, the level of tension in your shoulders, stomach, etc.
Now state one area you have opinions about. Now list three opinions
you have in this area…..sense yourself as you write these opinions,
check your breathing, the level of tension in your body.
Can you sense the different affect judgments have in your body and
breathing, than your opinions have?
Here is my experience: Area: Generosity. Clarity allows me to be
aware that when I hold the judgment that I should be more generous
than I am and I am selfish and wrong for not giving you what you
want my breathing is shallow, my shoulders and neck are tense.
When I see my opinion about what is generous to give to you is
different than your opinion. I feel a softness in my shoulders,
a relaxation in my stomach and I breathe more deeply.
Clarity allows me to become aware I feel comfortable with the reality
that we have different opinions and I feel up tight and wrong when
I hear the judgment that I "should" be more generous.
Together we will grow in clarity,
Radha

I'm Radha Conrad the founder of the Sisterhood of Clarity.
I am so happy to be with you today, we have a very important
topic to explore. TRUST
Do we Trust the process? Although we may all agree that it is
important and necessary to trust the process, if we are truthful
we will see we are not always able to trust the process.
What blocks our trust?
I see for me, I lose trust to the degree I lose faith in myself,
and start to have self-doubt and believe I have made the wrong
choice. Although each of us may answer differently, clarity shows
us there is always one path back to trust. This path is acceptance
of what is. Whether we are rejecting ourselves or life for not
living up to our ideals or expectations, we will suffer. Why,
because we are fighting with what is Reality.
Clarity allows us to see that it is easy to trust when life is meeting
our expectations. The challenge is to trust when it is not. When we
go within and do inquiry we will learn how our attitudes, beliefs
as well as our life experiences make it easy or hard to trust. Each
of us has our areas where we need to develop more trust and acceptance,
for some it is their physical body, health issues, financial issues,
relationships, prosperity and self-esteem to name a few.
The area that offers us the greatest challenge to trusting the process,
is pointing the way to where we will have the most personal growth.
Let's play with this now. Sit comfortably close you eyes, relax your
shoulders and become aware of your in breath and your out breath. Ask
yourself what is one area that I have the greatest difficulty in trusting
the process?
Now focus your awareness on the sound of your next 4 in breaths and out
breaths.
Action Step: Now ask yourself how would I be impacted if I accepted my
lack of trust in this are with compassion and kindness? Sense yourself
and allow one in and out breathe before answering.
Remember nothing may arise until later when you are not thinking about it.
Whatever arises is fine there are no right or wrong answers. Sometimes we
fear that if we accept we lack trust we won't evolve and grow.
Clarity shows us this is false. There is nothing wrong with seeing where we
lack trust, it is the way clarity shows us where we need to love, accept
and have more compassion for ourselves. When we are in a state of self-
acceptance we grow naturally. It is never too soon to begin dissolving the
blocks that get in our way.
Together we will grow in clarity,
Radha

Aloha, I'm Radha Conrad, the founder of the Sisterhood of Clarity
Do you ever wonder where clarity comes from?
Within each of us is a still place where all clarity arises from. It is a place that is untouched by the world, our history, our experiences.
It is a place of quiet and stillness, the wisdom that arises from here can come in the form of words, pictures, and it can also arise as an absolute sense of knowing without words.
This is where our inner wisdom, intuition, and insight arise from. THIS IS A PLACE WITHIN OUR HEARTS, FROM WHICH CLARITY ARISES.
If we desire access to our clarity, it is important to develop the skill of turning within for the answers to our questions rather than asking others for answers.
This process is called contemplation. As we develop our contemplation muscle, which will become stronger the more we exercise it, we will learn to count on contemplation as a way to access clarity.
How do I access your clarity?
We will access our clarity/inner wisdom by focusing on the sound of our in and out breathes, allowing our thoughts to float by like clouds.
As we focus on our breathing we allow a question about ourself that we want an answer to, to come into our consciousness.
It could be what more do I need to know to attract more prosperity into my life, or what more do I need to know to be kinder to myself. It is very important to ask the question in a gentle and positive way. Ask the first question that arises for you. Write your question down now.
Gently hold the question in your consciousness without attachment and trust it will be answered while you are doing this contemplation or at a later time.
To do this, takes an effortless effort that arises from trust. It is important to be patient with yourself. The secret is to gently hold the question, without trying to get the answer or being attached to the outcome.
You cannot make this happen, it happens when we are ready. Relax and know you have the answer to every question that arises, even if you don't believe it.
Now let's close our eyes, relax our shoulders, sit in an up right posture, say your question out loud to yourself now. Bring your awareness to the sound of your in breathe and the sound of your out breathe.
Remember, the minds job is to think, so allow your thoughts to float by like clouds. When you become aware, you are thinking bring your awareness back to the sound of your in an out breathe.
We will do this for 3-5 minutes. You may want to set a timer.

My husband, Hunton, and I have been together for 32 years. We are celebrating our 28 wedding anniversary on April 4th.
We have been through many wonderful times together and some very challenging and difficult times. The miracle is that I love him more than ever and I feel blessed to spend my life with him and he feels the same about me.
I have learned some of my greatest life lessons from my relationship. Sometimes the things I see about myself that are most difficult for me to hold with compassion are times when I am unkind to my partner. I see every judgment I have on my husband I have on myself, he mirrors my critical judgmental mind.
One lesson I have learned is that I am a loyal wife who has the courage to work through challenges to clarity and love. I know he is my greatest teacher, friend, support, lover, and buddy.
I am grateful he is my partner and the laughter and joy we share are the source of a great deal of fun we share together. One of my greatest joys, is dancing with him. He is a fabulous dancer and I love to dance.
He supports me and my dreams and encourages me to be the most I can be. He is a talented designer of homes, interiors and landscapes. I am fortunate to live in some of the beautiful homes he has designed, in fact we are going to a remote part of Maui, called Hana, to vacation in a beautiful home he designed for a client. The part time owners have offered it to us for our anniversary.
It is an amazing house on the beach and I feel so blessed and grateful to have the use of it for a week.
I am very grateful for the life I live and to all of you, dear Braveheart women for sharing my life with me. Being a part of this community has been a great joy. It is so wonderful to meet like spirited women who are inspiring and courageous.

Most of the time we know when we need to do something differently if we want different results. When we find ourselves repeating old patterns, that never worked or always give us the results we didn't want, it is time to make a change. We know we must do something different if we want different results.
Clarity will show us what we need to do and than the challenge is to pay attention and see if we are willing to take the inner action steps that are needed to bring us the results we want.
Recently I saw that although it was my intention to do my affirmations everyday, I wasn't doing them daily. I decided to take an inner action step to see if I could get clarity on what was blocking my intention.
I allowed three slow breaths in and out and I asked myself what did I need to know to fulfill my commitment of daily affirmations. Clarity showed me that I had unconsciously made a rule that I had to write the affirmations every day and I was resisting.
The day I saw this, I went out for a walk and spontaneously started saying my affirmations aloud as I walked. I enjoyed myself so much and felt so happy and fulfilled.
After my walk, I came in the house and had a "clarity snap", the rule I made stopped me from being creative with how and when I do my affirmations and the rebellious part of me was resisting.
The way to keep our attention on our intention is to go within and contemplate what we want, what we are willing to do to get it, and if we are staying on purpose to keep our commitment to ourselves.
Have you made a rule, that you are not aware of, that blocks you from keeping your commitment?

Hear your inner voice of clarity through breathing...
When we bring our awareness to the sound of our in and out breaths, our focus is in our body rather than on what we are thinking. Of course, thoughts arise, it is the minds job to think.
Breathing is very powerful, we all know we need to breathe to live, however, how we breathe affects our state of mind, our emotions and our sense of ourselves. We can calm ourselves by slowing our breathing and we can cause anxiety by breathing quickly.
To tap into our clarity we need to slow down and listen to our inner voice of wisdom. Our breathing is the easiest way to do this. When our breathing slows, our blood pressure lowers and our thinking slows down. We begin to become quiet and still. This quietness and stillness is the perfect atmosphere to hear our inner voice of clarity.
Recently I was having a conversation with someone when they became very angry and starting yelling about their disappointment. I could feel their energy start to impact me. I began to focus my attention on my breathing. I could see that my breathing was sallow and I had a great deal of tension in my chest and shoulders.
As I continued to focus on my breathing my breathing slowed and my body began to relax, after a short time I had a "clarity snap".
I saw this person was frustrated and their anger had nothing to do with me. I also saw that as I relaxed and focused on my breathing I was present with this person. They began to calm down and relax and apologize for yelling at me.
My awareness on my breathing allowed me to stay present, be protected from their anger impacting me, and gain clarity on what was happening with the other person. It also allowed me to experience that I have the power to choose what energy I allow in and how to stay in my truth regardless of what is happening around me.
Breath and clarity are connected on a deep level.
Many people want to know how they can gain clarity in a difficult area in their lives and the easiest way I know is to first focus on your breathing.
