My gratitude is boundless for having the opportunity to be associated with such an extraordinary group of creative BraveHeart Women!
However, we can always add a little more fun and creativity to our day, as well as to the day of those we touch as we move through our lives.
Here are 7 things we can do in order to have a more interesting, fun and creative day - just for today:
l. Wear something you haven't worn in one month. 2.Use the opposite of your dominant hand. 3. Leave the word "fine" out of your vocabulary. 4. Speak with your favorite accent - to others and to yourself. 5. Sit in a different seat at your kitchen table. 6. Wear two unmatching (socks) and see if anyone notices. 7. Dance, skip, hop, jump or ? to get where you want to go.
Besides having a little fun, we are trying to break the patterns of our long-term habits and ways of thinking, being and doing. The more we practice this, the more easily we can begin to live 'outside of the box' and create the quality of life we desire.
Would love to hear more simple and fun ideas from my BraveHeart friends!
Think 'fresh', 'new', 'original', 'innovation'; the opposite of 'old', 'sameness', 'stale', 'aged'.
How are you preparing for the upcoming month of February? With enthusiasm and focus, or are you still in the 'same-old, same-old' mode?
The beginning of a new month does not have to be the marker to start thinking with creativity and with a sense of wonder at what it will bring. We can start at the beginning of each new day to create our reality.
We all know these things intellectually but how many of us take focussed action? If you have yet to write down at least 3 goals for the month, I invite you to take two minutes now to write them down. I will do the same . . . .
Here are mine: - To formulate plans for a health and life-style workshop - To add a green smoothie to my daily intake - To develop the habit of sending at least one postcard a day to family, friends and/or clients.
That wasn't so hard was it? It can take less than 5 minutes. Remember to look at it occasionally, or even change it if you like.
New Goals automatically reveal a New You! Remember, for a different result, we must change what we are currently doing.
Would love to hear what your goals are. When you go public that means you are sincerely committed, so check them twice before publishing. Any BraveHearts?
Have a wonderful and fulfilling February!

Most would agree that we are all beautiful as babies. Have you ever seen a baby that was not beautiful in some way?
What happens then? As we grow older some of us lose our 'beauty', that is, our external beauty. There are even some who keep their external beauty but are not thought of as beautiful.
Why not? Perhaps Helen Keller's quote will answer: “The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart”. As you know, Helen Keller was both blind and deaf yet she was aware of the beauty around her because she could feel with her heart.
We know from the Law of Attraction that we can create our own reality by what we intensely and continually think, feel and act upon. Therefore, if we want to create a reality of beauty within us and around us, we must pay all attention to things of the heart.
Each person already has a personal list of what resonates with his or her own heart. How to use this private list? Concentrate on one thing that makes your heart 'sing'. Embellish it; make it sparkle; nurture it; offer it to another; color it beautiful!
Think of beauty as a flower. If unattended, it withers, loses its color, languishes and is no more. There is so much beauty all around us - identify with it, become one with it, make it your own and indeed, you will have placed another beauty-flower in your heart-garden!
All are beautiful, if we look closely enough.

When you were a child, did you believe in magic? Special happenings that were mysterious or inexplicable?
Did you enjoy watching magicians who performed tricks that were extraordinary and perhaps even baffling?
Why was Harry Potter so successful? Why were Houdini and David Copperfield so well known? Adults and especially children love the surprise and delight of magic.
What I am suggesting is that we continue to live in the magic of the moment. Yes, magic is alive, but only for those who have the eyes to see it, feel it and know it.
Magic lives in light and higher vibration, higher consciousness. Is it not worthy to aspire to the wonder of all things?
Believe in that which is not seen but can be felt in the heart. We as adults grow old too fast and leave our child within starving and cold.
Instead, let us foster the budding and creative soul force within us. We too, can again experience the magic of life!
Enjoy a magical day! Rijuta Tooker Manifest your Soul-Power! Soul-Power Community
This morning I watched a video from YouTube called 'Peace from the Quantum Level'. In the video a quantum physicist, Dr. John Hagelin, spoke about 'creating peace' which was to me, totally fascinating!
Speaking eloquently and masterfully, Dr. Hagelin explained that what we need are many "peacemakers who develop their nervous systems to the point where they become lighthouses of peace, radiating peace."
We have all had the experience of being in a person's presence who has a strong 'peace' vibration or feeling about them. Of course, the reverse is true as well: strong emotions such as happiness, anger or depression are immediately noticeable in a person.
Dr. Hagelin went on to state that "consciousness is a field that we share". He explained masterfully a difficult concept with the following example. Even as sound expands in ripples out into all directions, so also does consciousness. The sound from one speaker gives us a certain amount of sound. The sound from two speakers placed close together, will give us 4 times the amount of sound as the one speaker did. The sound from three speakers placed close together, will give us 9 times the amount of sound as the one speaker did.
What are the implications from this knowledge?
The power of consciousness (i.e. in the form of prayer, meditation, intensive one-pointed thought) grows as the 'square of the number of people doing it together.'
Can we create peace? By having 3 or more people in close proximity concentrating on peace, feeling peace, becoming a vibrating conduit of peace, are we able to bring peace to that physical space?
Look outside your window; do you see the first day of spring? I am looking outside mine and snow is falling - lazily, gently, beautifully.
Do I care whether or not it is snowing on the first day of spring? No, because I know that the seasons unfold as they should, every single year. The time will come when that which has lain dormant will burst forth with renewed energy, beauty and purpose.
Seeds previously planted will purposely parent more seeds, new growth, new beauty. Forgotten seeds will suddenly blossom into vibrant color.
Spring is a time to celebrate the waning of winter and the emergence of new life, new inspiration, new creativity!
Are you familiar with: 'Eyes are the windows to our soul'? Looking in through the 'windows' of another's eyes is revealing for the observer. We see much about the person - the openness, the integrity, the love, as well as things less inspiring.
Looking out through the 'windows' of our own eyes, we create our own reality.
We can choose to see with 'old eyes' - OR We can choose to see with 'new eyes.
Choosing to look out through 'old eyes', we see through the smog of anxiety, fear and pain. Choosing to look out through 'new eyes', we see through the mist of beauty, love and oneness.
What we 'see' shall manifest into our reality. Replace the smog of anxiety, fear and pain with the mist of beauty, love and oneness. You can then fashion your dream world.
Do you 'see' with 'Old Eyes' or with 'New Eyes'? Make the transition - one glance at a time. See with eyes that nurture the soul. Victory lies ahead.
April Fools Day is celebrated all over the world with many variances. The day sees pranks and practical jokes played on friends, colleagues and family members with the intention of embarrassing anyone gullible enough to fall for the 'joke'.
Below are three of the most famous April Fools Day jokes played on the public:
In 1957 BBC showed the Swiss harvesting spaghetti from trees. People called BBC wanting to know how to grow such a tree.
In 1988 Burger King designed a burger for left-handed people with condiments slipping out of the right side. People actually ordered the left-handed burgers; others said they preferred the right-handed burgers.
In 1965 BBC conducted a test (Smell-o-vision) saying that they were sending odor over the airwaves. People called in reporting the success of the test.
Wouldn't it be fun to act like a fool on April Fools Day? Webster Dictionary's definition of FOOL: "A man formerly kept in the household of a nobleman or king to entertain by joking and clowning." So to do silly things or play fun jokes is quite appropriate for today.
Go ahead, break your usual serious countenance! Be creative and play a trick, do silly things, 'fool' around. Celebrate the day!
Tell us about your favorite April Fools Day story!!!
From your 'Fool' Friend - just for today,
Today, my friend, Ashrita Furman, holder of the most Guinness World Records broke two more records.
Ashrita has set every kind of record imaginable: fastest mile somersaulting (19 min. 11 sec.); most sit-ups in an hour (9,628); most pogostick jumps in one minute (238).
See his attempt to set a pogostick record years ago:
As of May 2008 Ashrita now holds the same record at 178 for the most jumps in one minute of pogostick jumping while skipping rope.
Today, Ashrita's wish was to honor National Poetry Month by reciting one poem in the most different languages. The last record was set with over 70 different languages. Today Ashrita's record was set with 111 languages!
Secondly, today, Ashrita is the first person to hold 100 Guiness World Records simultaneously.
He actually has set over 200 records since 1979. Some of his records get broken by others and he attempts to reclaim them by setting a new record.
He believes in self-transcendence through intense concentration and meditation.

Some of us are going through so many changes so rapidly that we are having image problems!
Yet we are all equally beautiful despite having challenges with our personal image. Many of the old parts of our identity are now disappearing. Many new things are being added to what we are now becoming. How is a person to keep up with all of this?
We must allow ourselves to detach from the outdated, outmoded, old and non-serving parts of our image. We must allow ourselves to release and let go when needed. We must allow ourselves to go with the flow when needed.
How do we do this? When we do our very best; when we leave the rest to a higher force, then we are 'allowing'. When we 'allow', we are surrendering to the highest within our self. The highest within is our soul. We want to access our soul power.
Once we enter into this process of surrendering to our highest, we begin to see our true image more clearly.
Even then, we must continue to allow change and growth and at the same time, welcome the totally new and completely unique to manifest within us.
Turn your image problems into creative solutions. Be rewarded with more clarity, more satisfaction, more fulfillment. No more image problems! Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community
Earl Nightingale is famous for telling the story of 'Acres of Diamonds'. He tells of a farmer who got so excited about finding diamonds that he sold his land to go out and search for diamond mines. He searched everywhere for a diamond mine yet found nothing.
The story goes that the person who bought this farmer's land found that he actually had on his land one of the largest diamond mines ever discovered. The farmer who sold his land had been literally standing on acres of diamonds.
Diamonds in the rough look like pieces of black coal and because he didn't recognize what a 'raw' diamond looked like, he missed out on the treasure he already had.
How are we like that farmer of long ago and what is our lesson? Instead of developing the possibilities that we have within reach in our current situation, we are constantly searching elsewhere for life's treasures, feeling that the grass is greener on the other side.
What treasures do you have in your life that you have overlooked and failed to appreciate? Look around you carefully with the intention of finding at least one 'diamond' today.
What does that diamond look like? A piece of coal? A child's smile? A Grandpa's whiskers? A dusty old jar? Look carefully! I am sure you will find something in your 'acres of diamonds'!
My 'diamond' for the day: today I e-mailed one of my cousins I hadn't been in touch with for months. She is sending three quilts to me that she feels I would like to have. They are hand made by our Grandmother. A very nice and memorable diamond to find!
Harold W. Becker asks: "What would happen if we actually embraced change as a wonderful opportunity to restore our creative capacity and begin anew with love?"
Harold W. Becker is known for inspiring people to 'love unconditionally.' In the video be aware of the wisdom in his words. For many, it is a new paradigm for our inevitable experience of change.
My favorite quote: "Always remember who you are - a beautiful and outrageously creative being, capable of manifesting a world filled with peace, joy and unconditional love."
Read with your heart! Enjoy!

Slow down to speed up! What does this mean? In the past month or so, I found myself beginning to add more and more to my daily To Do list, found myself multi-tasking more and more and had moments of feeling that I was 'spinning my wheels'.
Whoa, this was not working for me, so what to do?
Multi-tasking over long periods of time causes excessive stress. Many, if not most of us, find we are multi-tasking constantly. Now as time 'seems' to be speeding up, we have a need to learn the skill of multi-tasking. We can actually train the brain to channel energy so we can accomplish more in less time, but it takes practice.
Following is taken from an article by Ron Knaus, Multi-tasking, slow down to speed up.)I highly suggest that you read his whole article (click on the blue link).
"When you’re performing multiple tasks that require your undivided attention, your brain gets overloaded, as it can only process information from one channel at a time. Therefore, do not multi-task if the assignment requires your full attention. Once that urgent or detailed task is complete, then you can go back to doing the other tasks you normally do. This step will save you lots of rework, as you’re more prone to make mistakes when your brain is overloaded."
Slowing down helps us to connect with our inner power, our soul power. This is when we can best receive clarity, creativity and light/energy.
Watch an olympic runner. He or she has efficiency of movement, is obviously in control of the situation and moves with intensity - totally focussed.
As this is a holiday weekend, try to slow down just for just a few hours. You may get the mental, physical and emotional rest you need. You will drive more safely and be more connected with your family and friends.
In how many ways can you choose to feel good today? It is a holiday and you deserve to feel good all day. Explore all of your possibilities. Then go do them all. "Let that joyous child in you out in the open." Create a 'feel good day'.
Make sure you are with some fun people - family or friends.
Happy Memorial Day!

How many times during your typical day does your 'voice of reason' become activated? Many times your 'voice of reason' throws cold water on your 'intuitive self', vying for supremacy. You often have a great new idea and immediately doubts creep in and your critical and rational mind start to make their case. This is symptomatic of the age old battle between mind and heart.
The mind, very righteously claims that the 'voice of reason' is always victorious. It dilutes our passion and forces us to the middle ground where we lose sight of what our real values are.
The heart, however, helps us to expand and grow outside of the box we found ourselves in yesterday. The heart appreciates newness, creativity and humble boldness.
Every day we create a new 'box' for ourselves. Yesterday's box no longer suits us, no longer 'fits' us. The 'voice of reason' can be helpful; however, do not let it stifle the 'real' in you. Create an ever new, more beautiful, more creative box within which you eagerly place yourself on a daily basis.
