What about the rain...?"

I cannot help but share this powerful video with you:

No need to love Mr.Jackson to get the point, right?

It's impressive how many events are done around the world to celebrate the Earth Day! But actually, what I think, matters the most for our planet, is what we do and how much we care on a daily basis.

If you traveled around the world, you may noticed that the level of the environmental awareness vary from "very high" to "none". Conclusion: only a global effort can make a difference.

3 R REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE is a great idea, but isn't always been easy where I live. And even less the additional REPLENISH and RESTORE -5 R. You may not know, but Taiwan is "a land of plastic" and the kingdom for the "one time only" users. But getting better, getting better....

Happy Earth Day everyday!

Are your children involved in any volunteering projects? If not.....it's never too late.

During Global Youth Service Day, millions of youth around the world organize community service projects to address the needs of their local communities through service, to be recognized for their contributions, and to be a part of a global youth service movement.

For more information check the website: Global Youth Service Day

Here you will find some photos from a youth project done in Taiwan Youth Project

Happy volunteering !

Last year 50,000 Estonians got together and did in one day what it would have taken the government 3 years and 22 million euros to do - clean up all the garbage in the country! More than 600 volunteers came together to organize Campaign "Lets Do It!", a grassroots initiative to clean up the country from 10,000 tons of illegal waste in just one day.

Wow! What a project!
What an amazing Inspiration in Action, don't you think?

HOME is an ode to the planet's beauty and its delicate harmony.
Through the landscapes of 54 countries captured from above,
Yann Arthus-Bertrand takes us on an unique journey all around the planet, to contemplate it and to understand it.

You may have seen this short trailer (below), but if you can spend one hour and half of time to watch the full version (until June 14th on Youtube) Home Project
It will take you on a journey around the world you will never forget.

HOME is more than a documentary with a message, it is a magnificent movie in its own right.
Every breathtaking shot shows the Earth - our Earth - as we have never seen it before.
Every image shows the Earth's treasures we are destroying and all the wonders we can still preserve. " From the sky, there's less need for explanations".
Our vision becomes more immediate, intuitive and emotional.

HOME has an impact on anyone who sees it.
It awakens in us the awareness that is needed to change the way we see the world.
(HOME embraces the major ecological issues that confront us
and shows how everything on our planet is interconnected.)

From the official Home Project website.

Didn't you get in love with our planet yet?
I surely did, again.
