Where are you in your life right now?
Are you going through a dry spell?
I've been there a time or two....

Today, I want to remind you that "seasons change"!

The Universe uses every season of our lives to prepare us and propel us into our greatness!
Every season of our lives is vital and necessary to our growth and development.

In the dry places, we find our inner strength. And though it may seem that things are stagnant, Spirit is doing a work in you that is anything but!

Look for the gift in every place along your journey. I promise you...it is there!

Be strong and very courageous because you are supported in every single step along your path!

Feel the tangible presence of your angels and take heart!

Maybe, like me, you have been having some "When God?" moments.

These are times that your patience seems to be wearing thin and your faith may be smaller than mustard seed size.

So you ask God....

When will I have the level of success I want?
When will I no longer have to worry about money?
When will I be done with struggle?

And, like me, perhaps through your tears and childish impatience you may hear the still small voice.

It will say lovingly, "When you are ready to be sucessful, give up worrying about money and be done with struggle."

And like me, you will laugh at your tantrum and give thanks for who you are and what you have right now!

Someone said to me that success is not measured in the things you have...but in the obstacles that you have overcome.

By that measure my Sisters, we are wildly successful!

And so, I dedicate this song to all of you who may have asked God..."When?"

I love to dance! There is something about moving to the melody of a beautiful song that fills me with pleasure and happiness!

I would like to imagine God as the perfect dance partner. One who leads with incredible grace and ease...

The partner that anticipates each move... and understands each nuance of all the rythms of my world.

The partner who is always so patient when I stumble and who lifts me gently when I fall.

The partner whose presence brings out my absolute best in this dance we call life.

In the protective circle of the arms of my Father, I know I am always loved, always protected and perfectly safe...

And the truth is....I always am!

I dedicate this song to my BraveHeart Sisters to remind you of how "close" this Loving Presence is to you now. (Remember!)

No matter where you are or what is going on in you life!

A dear colleague of mine, Jennifer Hoffman, said something recently that resonated with me. So of course, I will share it with you!

You are the Heroine in your own life!

My sisters, your life is a grand adventure and a sacred quest!

The dragons and medusa's we slay now are only the shadows that at any moment can be transformed into light.

We are all in service to the Kingdom of Love!

We can draw upon the power of the talisman's that have been provided for our victory.

They are called Faith, Hope and Love!

Rest assured, that no matter what you face in your life today.., a victorious outcome is assured!

As a Heroine, you know that the victory lies not in the outcome alone, but inside the quest itself!

Inside of you is all that you need to vanquish every foe and to conquer every challenge...and to face each new day!

See the Heroine in you for she is there!

You need not be anything... other than willing to put one foot in front of the other!

In fact, the greatest hero's don't even know that they are hero's at all!

You can go the distance!

Because you are the beloved Daughter of a Father who is well pleased and waiting to give you a "hero's welcome"!

The word Beautiful means...

having beauty; having qualities that give great pleasure or satisfaction to see, hear, think about, etc.; delighting the senses or mind.

How many times in our lives have we allowed our circumstances to drown out the Beautiful in our experience?

A ray of sunlight falling through the window, the sound a child's laugh, the feel of the wind in the Fall, a neon thunderstorm, a smile from a stranger, the feel of sand between our toes is beautiful!

The smell of fresh rain, the sound of the windchime on your front porch, your favorite pair of earrings, your first cup of tea or coffee in the morning, the earth in your garden is beautiful!

In truth, you are always surrounded by that which is beautiful! (Remember!)

Set an intention to "Go to Beautiful" everyday and let it guide you home!

A lovely sister-friend of mine posted this beautiful picture of her child on Facebook. The child is wearing a bright orange life jacket and wearing an angelic smile! Her father’s arms encircle the little one and the caption reads, “Her first life jacket. Safety first!”

The child looks completely peaceful and unconcerned. Her expression relays the kind of contentment that is brought about when you know that you are totally loved, always protected and absolutely safe!

The dictionary defines a life jacket as: A sleeveless jacket of buoyant or inflatable construction, for supporting the wearer in deep water and preventing drowning.

So many of us today feel like we are drowning. Floundering in uncertainty, debt, lack, scarcity, grief or perceived loss…we think that our circumstances will pull us into their undertow never to be seen again.

In the deep water of our fears, we struggle against the current, envisioning the worst possible outcomes.

All along, Spirit is calling lovingly to us; working to calm our fears and stop our violent struggles.

But, like the drowning…we fight the very energy that is reaching out to rescue us from the dark turbulent waters of our own nightmarish illusions.

Each and every one of us has been issued a “Life Jacket” designed specifically to help us navigate the deep waters of our experience in complete safety and without need for fear of drowning.

You have only to accept this wonderful gift and allow your Father’s arms to encircle you!

You are wholly and completely supported at all times…no matter how turbulent the waters that flow around you!

Listen, because Spirit is saying... “Put on your Life Jacket! Your safety is always first with Me!”

Become like the child that you are and “Trust” that you will float above the content in your life… for you are the space around it!

Take a deep breath and feel the buoyancy of the unconditional love that is your heritage as the child of a loving Father/Mother God!

Remember… “God is faithful, who will not [permit] you to be tempted above that ye are able [to bear]; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape.” 1 Cor. 10:13

Accept the Life Jacket that has always been yours today… and smile because you are loved!

The dictionary defines “Grace” as:
a. The freely given, unmerited favor and love of God.
b.The influence or spirit of God operating in
humans to regenerate or strengthen them
c. A virtue or excellence of divine origin…

And again, it is defined as…elegance or beauty of form, manner, motion or action.

To say that we live in a “State of Grace” points to a way of being that creates a flow of ease and harmony in life that some call “effortless-ness”.

The Tao, says this about effortless-ness:
The way is the root of everything accomplishing all while doing nothing.
Elites knowing Divine Unity accomplish with effortless application.
Life unfolding in a natural process.
Highest good manifests freed of desire.
Serenity evolves of its own accord…

A “State of Grace” is not a state of constant, mind-numbing euphoria.

(Although, it can certainly be experienced this way from time to time.)

Rather, it is living life by responding to it with the knowledge that everything is as it should be.

It is an extreme and certain reliance on Spirit living in you, through you and as you.

It is a dance with precise steps and the fluid motions of Love given…and of Love received in this circle…called Life!

Today, consider changing your zip code to a “State of Grace“.

Maybe, like me, you are starting over...reinventing yourself...and making drastic changes in your life and affairs.

It can feel so scary to be in an unfamiliar place where all you really have to rely on is the power of faith and the strength of your vision.

Maybe you are starting over because your old job went away, you are downsizing or a relationship came to an end.

Whatever the reason, you may come to a place where you just feel like saying, "Forget it! This is just too hard and I don't want to do it anymore!"

I must feel like this at least once a day on a slow day!

So I want to share some things that have kept me from walking away from the path that I have chosen for myself.

Know the difference between "giving up" and "letting go"

Be willing to release all the things that you thought you knew about yourself and your life. Doing this creates room for God to create a new script for you and your life.

Practice Moment-By-Moment Surrender

Surrender all struggle, despair and hopelessness. Surrender all fear, doubt and unbelief. Do it moment-by-moment!

Surrender in those tearful moments when you might be on the floor in a heap praying for the strength to hold on just one more day...then...get off the floor, wipe your tears, wash your face and reach for a feeling of gratitude.

Live in Gratitude

Focus on your blessings and not on what you think is missing! When you feel despair come calling ask yourself what you are most grateful for.

Reach for gratitude constantly! Become a gratitude addict! Gratitude instantly raises your vibration.

Remember to Breathe

When you are in fear you are not breathing deeply. A good cleansing deep breath brings oxygen to the brain and gets the flow of energy moving.

When you breathe deeply and slowly you don't feel stuck. You start to feel like you have the power to keep going.

Let it Flow

Whatever you are sharing and giving to the world, keep sharing and giving to the world. If you are a writer, keep writing. If you sing, keep singing, If you are an artist, keep creating!

As you allow your gift to flow from the loving place of your I AM Presence and from the Joyful Soul of your Being...you are bringing it into perfection!

A quote from Manifesting Victory,

"Don't think you must stop, because what you expressed isn't accepted (or noticed) by the outer world! Don't mind that, but just let it flow! Just let it keep flowing and all of a sudden, when it strikes a certain vibratory action, the whole world will accept it!"

God does have a plan for you and whether you know it or not...you're living it!

Persistence is needed. Persistence is the steady adherance to a course of action!

Courage is needed. Courage is feeling the fear and doing it anyway!

Love will guide you and carry you when necessary!

Don't ever, ever, ever give up!

Imagine for a moment that “happiness” was not something that you have to find, chase, or earn.

Imagine that happiness was not something that you could only experience based on the volatile circumstances and moveable situations in your current life experience.

Just think! No! Don’t do that!

Just feel and imagine that happiness actually knows you personally!

Isaiah 49:16 says that Happiness, also known as God…does know you personally:

“See, your name is marked on my hands; your walls are ever before me…”

Happiness is totally aware and informed about your circumstances….and guess what?

Happiness is looking for you right now!

Be still and know that I AM God!

Be still and stop running from happiness….

Listen!

That’s happiness calling your name…can you hear it?

If you can….then just SMILE!

Headlines are screaming about war and rumors of wars, you practically feel like you have to sign over your firstborn at the gas pump….and flooding, earthquakes and natural disasters are taking place all over the world.

Many are feeling some sense of pain, loss, confusion or at the very least…some trepidation about what’s next.

The fearmongerers are screaming loud and long…and gaining more support everyday.

The magnetic pull of the negative and panic-stricken collective consciousness bears heavy on the soul.

And so, I pose the question…what does keeping the faith really mean for us now?

In my humble opinion, it has to do with maintaining a place of balance, truth and sanctuary amidst the chaos and craziness created by the blaring of the media horns.

It has to do with holding a space of sanity and peace for those who cannot or will not hold it for themselves.

Tao #26 has this to say about staying centered:

Heavy is the root of light
the faster we go,
we slow down time
standing still
we are the masters of speed

Thus the wise travel
all day without leaving their vehicles
the scenery is accepted
without undue excitement

My beloved friends, hold your course…stay on track! Be still and know God!

Be like a tree planted by the rivers of water and bring forth your fruit!

As the Psalmist said…”I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved .(Psalm 16:8 KJV).

Look not to the right hand nor to the left but remove your foot from evil. In this case, evil being everything that is unlike LOVE which cast out fear.

And my friends, not for nothing, are the Children of Light are also called “The Faithful”!

Another sacred text we know describes the essence of faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

You are anointed as WayShowers, Truthtellers, and Keepers of the Light!

Put on the whole armour of God and stand having done all to stand!

And I close with a quote from Robert Schuller, “Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.”

The guidelines only ever point in one direction…”up”!

As above…so below!

Yesterday was a day that will go down in history for those of us living on the East Coast. Many of us experienced our first earthquake. Yes, you heard me right! A 5.9 on the Richter Scale! It came without warning, introductions or explanation.

I was on the phone with my sister when the rumbles began. It sounded like a freight train coming down the middle of my street. So foreign was the concept of “earthquake” to my experience, that I ran outside convinced that the source of the shaking must be something, anything but what it actually was.

Mumbling to my sister, “I’ll call you right back”, I hung up the phone in a daze. The earth stopped moving, but my mind was reeling in the aftermath of the sheer power of this experience!

There are words in a sacred text which declare “All that can be shaken will be shaken so that which cannot be moved will remain…”

Circumstances in life can appear suddenly with no apparent warning of which we are consciously aware shaking us to our core.

Circumstances requiring our immediate and undivided attention which can leave us dazed, numb or paralyzed with fear wondering what just happened?

When the “aftershocks” have passed, at last we turn within to the business of rebuilding and putting ourselves and our lives back together.

For those open to the gifts present in the hand of even the most adverse circumstances, something solidifies and creates a kind of fortitude that becomes immovable and unshakeable!

Consider the following text from Matthew 27: 51-53

51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, 52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

Metaphysically, quakes represents a "Shift”.

A movement from one mindset to another, a change from one course of action to another, a testing of stability and a separation of that which is temporal from that which is eternal.

The old way of being, the graves, are opened and the mind is freed and resurrected. We are transformed and the veil of the illusion of separation between us and that which is Holy is rent in two.

The rocks of old core beliefs, behaviors and patterns… those things that no longer serve us are split and the sleeper awakens.

Having been transformed, we seek to become vessels of transformation. We remember once again, humbled by the Power of our quake and empowered by its passing, that we are Conscious Co-Creators with God in our own lives. We remember that we are here to be about our Father’s business as citizens of the Holy City!

We appear unto ourselves as the Perfect, Whole and Light-filled beings that we truly are at our very core, no longer entangled by the seductions of our lives as something that we… and we alone control.

I close with a quote from the Tao:

Tao #16 ~ Cycles / Circles

Empty your mind of thought
dwell in DivineUnity
being
Serenity

Watch the web of life
weave into existence
all that we observe
all moves within a circle
all life returns
to the roots in the soil

Source of serenity
absorbed in eternity

Beloved know this when lifequakes come…

That which can be shaken has been created in order that what cannot be shaken may remain.

In the last post of this series we discussed the difference between longing and desire.

Longing has its focus on lack or what is missing. Like wishing, it places us in a position of limited possibility. What you focus on grows larger. Inside the web of longing, one tends to feel powerless to change their circumstance.

Desire is of the Father… it is the Formless Consciousness from which we create the life we choose. Desire is the stirring within your soul for All that tends toward Life. Desire is a place of Infinite Possibilities and Power! Inside desire lay the seeds of Wholeness and the key to the Authority of the Concious Co-Creator.

From the space of our God-Realized desire, we may “Lead with our Light”!

Knowing, that everything you need lies inside the Kingdom within and is already in your possession, you are at peace!

We create, or uncover desire from becoming present to what it is we want in the deepest way possible. When you are ready to Lead With Your Light, you will seek:

•Not the gift...but the Giver
•Not the thing…but the state of consciousness from which it arises

Life is consciousness. Life is spiritual not physical.

To the degree to which we can understand these basic Truths, we will create the life we want.

Remember that you already create the life that you choose consciously or unconsciously. Whether you live as a beggar or a monarch inside your Kingdom is up to you.

Do you desire joy, peace, wealth, luxury, security or opulence? No matter, they are all within you.

Access your desire through your emotion! Feel the experience of joy, peace, wealth or whatever you desire.

Emotion = Energy in Motion

Many of us are used to the emotions of depression, lack, sadness and confusion. Expand your consciousness to include your natural state of Being. Feast on the feelings that tend toward Life!

“How do I do this?”, you may ask. Practice is the answer.

Proverbs 4:23
“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

As you shape your consciousness with your feelings of love, joy and gratitude you cannot fail to change your world!

Here is a story told often at AA meetings:
A man fell off a cliff, but as he fell he grabbed a branch growing out of a cliff wall. Alas! The weight was to much and the branch started to come loose.

Knowing that he was in danger of falling to his death, the man begin to cry out for help. When no one answered, at long last he cried out to God.

The voice of God came over the cliff saying, "You want help? Well, if you are really a believer, I will help you."

The man begin to bargain with God. "I will go to church every Sunday, give up drinking and smoking...etc."

"Well, God says, that's not really what I want."

As the branch begin to slip further, the man cries out to God, "Whatever you want I will do! Just tell me what you want!"

"Let go of the branch." God replied.

After a minute of silence, the man cries out..."Is there anybody else up there?"

The power is always in the letting go!

What is your "branch' today? Is it a toxic relationship, a job or as simple as the familiar routine of going through your life asleep at the wheel?

At some point, Love calls on us to trust.

Love calls us to trust in the face of all of the evidence that we have gathered to the contrary, that there is an island of peace and safety.

Holding on keeps us focused on peace and safety as something we can find and experience outside ourselves if only the darn branch will hold.

Love calls us to trust that we can make good choices and experience... good and beauty and sweetness in life.

And, only if we "let go of the branch"!

Let go of our need to know and to control the content of our lives and dictate the outcome of Love's plans for us.

Let go of our attachments to the illusion of the security. Let go of withholding and withdrawing and running away from Love, from ourselves and feeling our truest feelings.

There is no Healing without letting go, for they are one and the same!

You will not fall to your death if you let go, and you will surely experience death (suffering) if you continue to hold onto your branch.

And you will have the opportunity to practice this over and over...an over again. And you will do it easy and you will do it hard.

Doesn't matter how you do it...just LET GO!

There is nothing wrong with an empty cup...so long as you fill it with your most Vital Requirement.

In spite of what appearances dictate to us, our most Vital Requirement is not to be found in the outer world.

Your connection with the Divine, your relationship with your Sacred Self is your mission.

You are here to bring Heaven to Earth...

Love requires a vessel!

Still your Cup. Cease from your endless, needless struggles. You who have drawn from the well...now have need to drink.

Still your Cup. So that not a drop of the Divine Essence it captures will be spilled until you pour it out in Love upon the world.

Still your Cup. Return to the Beloved.
Be still and Know who you truly are!

In situations of uncertainty and times of darkness...
In times of discord, confusion or loneliness; ask yourself
"Where is love possible?"

It is important to learn to ask big questions and have the courage to hear the answers.

Though each of us is infinitely loved and supported by God and the Universe; we will still experience moments of extreme pain, sorrow and suffering.

Because we are spiritual beings having a human experience, there will be those moments that we will feel our humanity acutely.

You will be tempted to ask "why?"
Why is not a big enough question.

Ask instead, "What is this experience here to teach me?", and "Where is love possible?"

No matter what the experience remember that Love is always possible!
