Hi Dearest BraveHeart Party Friends, That was so much fun last night! In order to stay healthy I have heard that one must have at least 12 laughs a day. Well yesterday I am sure I got my 12 laughs in with special thanks to all of my friends who contributed to the 'gab fest' during our time together last night. It occurs to me that often I will chuckle to myself inwardly but the smile and the sound don't happen. The smile and the sound are the parts of the laugh that are so important. It would be helpful to me, not only for health reasons, but for inspiration and life-enrichment, if you would give a suggestion or two of what kinds of things make you laugh and how you access these things when you want/need a laugh. Needing to 'belly-laugh more often!!! Your Party Friend, Rijuta Tooker Manifest your Soul-Power!

Lindsay Wagner is far removed from the roles she is known for. She is what she teaches: 'Quiet the mind and open the heart,' and that is what we are all about as BraveHeart Women. In Lindsay's interview with Ellie she spoke about 'transcending one's current consciousness'. She illustrated to Ellie, using muscle testing, that we are indeed stronger when our energies are about love, compassion and inclusiveness. Lindsay also illustrated that we weaken ourselves, our emotional stability and immune system when our energies are about resentment, arrogance and self-righteousness. This interview is worth watching, in my opinion, more than once. Such fascinating questions Ellie asks. And, fascinating answers. Once of my favorites! Rijuta Tooker Manifest your Soul-Power!

Good Saturday! Do you have a full schedule today? Are you planning to do something today to keep yourself healthy and vibrant? Yes, eating fresh and whole foods is good, but it is not first on the list. Yes, getting enough rest is good, but it is not first on the list. Yes, getting some sunshine and fresh air is good, but it is not first on the list. What do I feel is first on my list? Physical Movement. Physical action. I won't even use the word 'Exercise' because it brings anxiety to those who don't do it. As a Health Coach and long-time practitioner of various movement practices, I find daily movement has helped me the most! Your Movement can take any form you like: Walking, Jogging, Stretching, Yoga, Swimming, any other sport or body movement practice. Schedule a time for yourself on a daily basis - at least 6 if not 7 days a week. You deserve the benefits you will receive! Two or three times a week is not enough! Three or four times a week is not enough! Start with 5 or 10 minutes a day and build up in time spent and in performance difficulty. You will enjoy a clearer mind, more energy, more self-esteem and more vibrant health. Many, I know in our BraveHeart Community, are excellent athletes. Would love to hear about your daily movement activities! Have a Moving Day! Rijuta Tooker Manifest your Soul-Power!

For those who are feeling a bit scattered, light-headed, as if there is a disconnect with your daily efforts, or simply out of sorts and don't know why, perhaps you need to ground yourself. Grounding oneself has to do with the base chakra, which serves to harmonize and balance us to the earth energies. As a yoga instructor and yoga therapist, I am always surprised to see how many persons need to ground themselves. Last week I suggested two simple ways to my Soul-Power Community. Below are other suggestions. I invite you to experiment to see if one or more add to your life experience. - Spend time out in nature - Surround yourself with nature in your home with houseplants, flowers, herbs and pictures or photos on the walls - Use the color red as an accent. This color is associated with the base chakra - Meditate and begin by visualizing yourself in a natural setting such as forest, seaside, shells, sand, rocks - Eat fresh vegetables and fruits - Massage with essential oils that come from trees whose roots go deep into the earth - Homemaking helps by caring for the home, the garden, the people in your life The more grounded we are to the earth energies, the more easily we can access the higher vibrational energies. Have a happy and grounded day! Rijuta Tooker Manifest your Soul-Power! Soul Power Community

It is necessary to prioritize your physical, mental and emotional energies when so many demands on your energies sap you of your strength, your focus and your enthusiasm. This creates an imbalance and diminishes the life-force available to you to manifest a fulfilling and meaningful life. It is sometimes difficult to keep the right balance in the expenditure of our energies. At every moment we are beng asked to contribute energetically to the plight of the national economy, the illness of a friend, family challenges and demands from the workplace or from personal health and well-being issues. First and foremost, we must choose at every moment to nurture our own needs and pay attention to the harmony and balance of our energetic expenditures. Rather than drain your own energies to help others, help them to connect to their soul power so they can responsibly make their own best choices. Holding our energies in the highest vibration and allowing others to make their own highest choices is a win-win for all. Take care not to squander your energies. Let go of the need to control attitudes and situations of family or those in the workplace. Eat fresh, wholesome and nourishing foods. Rest and exercise daily. You must care, protect and nurture yourself, daily. Only then will you be in a position to care, protect and nurture others. Enjoy a caring and nurturing day! Rijuta Tooker Manifest Your Soul-Power! Experiencing an emotion that is painful and does not feel good is motivation enough to learn to create a 'better feeling' emotion. How do we do that? - Allow yourself to feel your emotion. - Name the emotion that you are experiencing. Accept responsibility for your emotion. - Let go of your 'story' (who or what caused the emotion) but keep the emotion for now. - Accept your emotion without judgement or resistance (what we resist persists). - Ask, "What can I learn from this emotion?" "What belief about myself allowed me to experience this emotion?" - Replace your belief that caused the painful emotion ("He/she hates me!") with a 'better feeling' belief ("He/she is exhausted from working two jobs so I know it is not all about me." ) Not easy, but the process works! Whenever an emotion appears that does not feel good, we can transform that painful emotion and belief into something that feels much better! Practice makes perfect! Dear BraveHearts, Each and every BraveHeart Woman who desires to make a difference in this world, must aspire to be healthy, strong, energetic and dynamic - outwardly as well as inwardly. We are walking along Eternity's Road and all of our goals lie ahead of us. As we walk we are reminded that we must continually move toward our goals, one step at a time. As we physically walk, we gain outer strength, determination, better health and greater joy. We are also adding these soul qualities to our inner treasure. Having said the above, I firmly believe each of us must engage ourselves in some way with our physical body on a daily basis. We need to challenge the body so we gain physical strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. For those not already occupied daily with some athletic activity or physical labor, I encourage you to begin to walk - outdoors and daily. You only need a comfortable and supportive shoe. Nothing else. Begin slowly and for short periods of time. If you wish to measure your distance, go to a local track at a high school or university - OR measure a few blocks with your car. Inspire yourself with a new track suit or walking shorts and t-shirt. Make sure you are healthy enough to undertake a daily routine. If in doubt, get your doctor's input. Would be interested to know of your progress! Would also be interested to know other kinds of exercise that our BraveHearts are doing! To your good health, strength, vibrant energy and dynamism! As we march (or drag our feet) into the summer days, let us remember the following seven hints to help create a healthier summer for ourselves. These hints are not your usual 'eat well, rest and exercise, spend time in nature, etc. They are suggestions to which I invite you to pay close attention. By doing so, you can eliminate the causes of much dis-ease. By not following these hints, there is every chance that energy blockages will occur somewhere in your body/mind/emotions which can then begin to bring about dis-ease. Act on the following to create for yourself a healthier summer! 1. Speak your mind - do not suppress, repress or hide your thoughts and feelings 2. Make decisions - take responsibility for all aspects of your life 3. Think positive thoughts - as often as possible; when you do think a negative thought, alter it immediately to a more positive thought 4. Find solutions - do not hold on to unsettledness; if one thing does not work, try another 5. Live your truth - live to please what you know to be true, not what someone else says 'should' be true for you 6. Accept yourself - where you are right now, with all of your so-called limitations; grow from there 7. Be happy - Connect with your heart and soul; become your soul-power! To your vibrant summer health! Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community

Yes, you have written your 'Wish' Lists, your goals and your affirmations, but have you ever placed your Order With the Universe? Read the book, The Cosmic Ordering Service by Barbel Mohr. In her book, she summarizes the process by listing five points. Summary of her five points: 1. Write down your order for what you want in the way that suits your belief system. Choose the time, the place and the 'how' (ex. during full moon) according to what you 'feel' is right for you. 2. Make sure you write your order down exactly as you want it and place your order only one time. The Universe will hear you the first time. (Of course you can always cancel it if you do make a mistake.) 3. Release your expectation as soon as you send your order. Look for clues that will come to you and lead you to where and when and how you will receive your order. It does not help to be too attached or stressed out about the timely delivery of your order. 4. Always place your order in a positive way. Rather than say, "I would like to get rid of my diabetes", you may say, "I would like to have a healthy body." 5. Acknowledge the receipt of your gift when your order has been filled by the Universe. Gratitude goes a long way to increase your own belief system. AND, the Universe likes your gratitude and will eagerly serve you again. We all know that 'we create our own reality'. Some of us believe that more strongly and more completely than others. It matters not the process we use; what matters is that our intention is clear and we follow through with our thoughts, feelings and actions as if it were true - NOW. Place Your Order With the Universe soon. You can expect the very best service! Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community

During our daily routine, we often become tried, exhausted and feel that we really need to rest. What do you do? When this happens to you - and it happens to all of us - change your activity. Around three or four o'clock in the afternoon, you may need to get up from your desk or your computer to walk around a bit, get a drink of water or have a small snack. Other times, you may wish to do a few stretches or go outside for a ten-minute walk. For those of you who are experienced in meditation, set your intention to bring in new energy and more light into your system. In this way you will renew and refresh your entire being. We now know that everything is energy. If this is so, what we want to do is free ourselves of 'stale' or 'stuck' energy and totally renew and refresh ourselves. You can also renew your energy by taking several deep and fulfilling breaths of gratitude. On the inhalation, breath deeply into all of the spaces in your body and hold for a moment. On the exhalation, send your energy down deep into the earth in order to ground yourself. On the exhalation, allow your fatigue and stuck energy to leave your being through every cell, disappearing to the ends of the Universe. With practice, you will increase your capacity. Remember, this is not hocus-pocus, you are moving your stale and stuck energies out and receiving in new and refreshing light, or energy . Keep yourself energized, creative and productive during your day. You will be healthier, more alert and will more readily access your soul-power. Stay in your highest consciousness to enable yourself to more quickly and easily move toward your goals and dreams. How do you renew your energy? Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community

Have you ever had a perfectly smooth beginning to your day; all is going well; no glitches and you are as happy as a lark? You may even say to yourself, "It's almost too good to be true!" And sure enough, something happens to throw black ink on your mood. It could be a callous remark, slow traffic, a last-minute phone call from someone you didn't want to talk to; you forgot to take your 'pills' - it doesn't matter what it was. Your day has been ruined! Uninspiring events are bound to come up to sabotage our good moods. There are also other health and lifestyle factors that could easily do the same thing. Take necessary precautions to give yourself the needed fuel and stamina so you can more easily handle not only the mini stresses of life, but the larger stressors as well. Reviewing the usual suggestions for a healthful lifestyle: make sure you have had a good night's rest, eat a healthful breakfast, take regular aerobic exercise (walking, cycling or running) and see the glass half-full instead of half-empty. Make sure you don't carry around with you all day the frustration you felt in the slow traffic on the way to work. Add to this, all of the other incidents that add to your 'stress baggage' for the day, and you will have a huge load to carry around. Just throw those 'bags' away - let them go ! ! ! ! Keep only the good 'stuff' - with Gratitude! You will be happier and have a day of relative peace, harmony and joy. Do not allow anything to sabotage your good mood, your good consciousness, your higher vibration! Access and use your soul-power! Have a happy day! Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community

Do you ever go through a day without at least some kind of stress? Relieving stress always brings more peace and improves one's health. One of the easiest and quickest ways to relieve stress is by looking to nature and humming like a bumble bee. You need not be a good singer or know any songs; you don't even have to know how to carry a tune or stay 'on key'. All you really need to do is to remember to hum. This is a fantastic tool to keep in your stress-relieving tool box. When you hum, don't even think about what tune or song you are humming. Let the sound come, allowing it to go where it wants. No one else will even know what you are doing. Humming makes a very soft vibration which is soothing to the body. Practice humming with the 'm' sound until you sound just like a bumble bee. Feel your lips vibrating almost to a tickle. The 'n' or 'ng' sounds are also very effective and will be most beneficial for you. Whatever works best for you in the moment is the way to go. Play with it. Have fun! Relieve stress immediately. When you hang on to stress, you cannot access your soul-power! Hum-m-m-m Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community

Those who deeply connect with the natural abundance we find in nature, are stimulating and enhancing many of their 53 natural senses. What does this mean on a daily basis? These are the people who more often wear a smile on their face and a song in their heart. When you go outdoors to get into your car, do you consciously feel the warm sun on your skin, the cool breeze on your brow or do you deny the pleasures of these sensations? When we disconnect ourselves from nature and our 53 natural senses, we limit our life experience to a severe numbing down of sensation and emotion. See article: From [ i]Reconnecting With Nature and The Web of Life Imperative, by Michael J. Cohen, Ph.D. Cohen identified 53 natural senses that he and his students had experienced during 26 years living and teaching outdoors. Usually we think in terms of having 5 or 6 senses at our disposal. Consider some of the 53 senses listed by Cohen: - Sense of moods and identities attached to colors - Sense of temperature and temperature change - Awareness of pressure, particularly underground, underwater, and to wind and air - Appetite or hunger for food, water and air - Pain, external and internal. - Sense of play, sport, humor, pleasure and laughter - Sense of time - Aesthetic sense, including creativity and appreciation of beauty, music, literature, form, design and drama By connecting as much and as often as possible with nature and utilizing our 53 senses, our lives are enhanced immensely. We are conditioned to living indoors but when we visit natural areas outdoors, we re-awaken and re-vitalize our many natural senses. This brings a new awareness or new consciousness to our brain/being. We feel re-connected to our larger self; we feel rejuvenated; we luxuriously 'swim' in the natural world with a new understanding of our world and of our life; we re-connect with our Soul-Power. Be in nature today - every day! Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community

Last summer I had mostly tomato plants in my tiny garden (I say tiny because my Dad had a garden that required a tractor.) I also had peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, basil and parsley, but my tomatoes were most plentiful. I bought regular plants from the nursery and they tasted most delicious. This year, while shopping at one of the huge organic markets, I noticed that they had a large outdoor section of organic plants. Needless to say, I stopped by and bought 5 or 6 organic tomatoes - nothing else. I felt they would be more healthful than the ones from the nursery. Since then we have had so much rain, that I did not plant any other vegetable. Two days ago I picked my first organic cherry tomatoes, ripe off of the vine. OMG~ they were so sweet and tasty. I didn't even wait until I got inside to wash them. I ate them right then and there. Pure delight! I had a 'living in the moment' experience. Here I was, wondering what Mother Nature was up to with so much rain. But she gave me her most delicious bounty anyway! Today I got a few more, including a couple of larger tomatoes. Why am I writing about my organic tomatoes? Because I want to offer my gratitude to the Universe for the simple pleasures of life. I guess I could say 'Mother Nature' is one of my treasures that I cherish. Gratitude (and yum) Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community
