Today I awoke to a fairyland. To look out the window and see everything covered with white, fluffy snow, charmed me no end. I felt like a seven year old child.
The fascinating patterns of branches interwoven against the emerging blue of the sky was so intricate and lovely - like lace. I wished my camera had been ready at hand.
As 'morning shows the day', so continued much of my day feeling like my heart was that of a little girl. Early in the day I made the intention to allow the snow to remind me - just for today - of that precious time when all is beautiful, light and pure. When the mind and emotions are not tainted with negativity, impossibility and rigidity.
So each time I looked out the window today and even as I drove my car to do errands, I was reminded that we can live in the consciousness that we choose. Just by paying attention to the things we love, the things that give us joy and the things that make us feel lightness in our heart, we can manifest a new and brighter happiness in our lives.
It is so easy to choose something from Mother Nature to inspire and manifest light heartedness and a youthful spirit. I am interested to know what makes you feel that way!
Your seven year old friend - just for today! Affectionately, Rijuta Tooker
Having just listened to two interviews by Ellie Drake for her BraveHeart Women TV, I am very impressed - impressed not only with the two women interviewed but with Ellie herself.
Mariel Hemingway, granddaughter of Ernest Hemingway, spoke of the difficulties of her young years and later of her triumphs. Inspired by nature, Mariel lives her life with passion and intention and by creating 'sacred space' in all that she is and in all that she does. In less than 30 minutes Ellie inspired Mariel to share so much of her dynamic and creative self.
Lisa Nichols, teacher in the DVD Law of Attraction, told of her humble beginnings and of her indomitable 'No Matter What' spirit that brought her to where she is today. She spoke of her efforts to provide a 'safe place' for teens and of her aspirations to always be in service to humanity. She is truly a woman who owns her greatness.
Ellie Drake so effortlessly creates the 'sacred space' for the women she interviews. Ellie's sense of oneness, her heartfelt listening and her sensitive questioning reveal the special uniqueness and personal greatness of each person.
Gratitude to Mariel Hemingway, to Lisa Nichols and especially to Ellie Drake for allowing us to share so much of the sacred heart space of each one of the three ladies.
We, the BraveHeart Women, can move toward our goals with ease.
In order to be ready right 'out of the blocks' every morning, begin the night before. List 7 actions you want to accomplish the following day.
Take your list and prioritize it by checking off the top three items that will most powerfully move you toward the fulfillment of one or more of your goals. Write them in the order in which your intend to do them - number one being the most important.
Begin number 1 at an appointed hour the following morning and don't stop until you have finished. Take a break and then begin with number 2. Take a break and begin with number 3. If you are able to follow through with your top three, you will have finished your day by accomplishing much and will have heightened your self-esteem!
With your one-pointed focus and intention, your commitment to the completion of your top three action-steps and your development of daily discipline, you will move toward your goals with lightening speed and BraveHeart ease.
What are your top three action-steps today?
Best wishes toward your progress-success! Rijuta Tooker Manifest your Soul-Power!
New York firefighters, during 9/11, tapped into untold strength and power as they faced the worst crisis in the history of the city and of the nation.
While white water rafting, a family with four children crashed into a rock knocking the father into the rapids. In crisis mode, the wife grabbed her husband's arm and flung him back into the raft - unimaginable strength and power!
My cousin and her husband were in a serious automobile accident. In horror, finding my cousin pinned under the car, her husband immediately tilted the car up and was able to free her - amazing strength and power!
Where does this incredible strength and power come from? Our physical strength is magnified when our body, vital, mind, heart and soul call intensely on our inner power. This power comes from an inner and higher Source, our Soul-Power.
We can learn to tap into our inner and outer resources on a daily basis. How? When we set an intention, we do so with intensive one-pointedness and focus. We feel and know that what we intend is happening right now in the moment. We then release all attachment to the outcome and allow the Universe to provide.
Over simplified, but effective, as we have learned from many of our mentors. But like any muscle, we must practice the process and slowly but surely develop our manifesting capacity, our soul power.
Feel free to share a time when you have had to tap into your own unimaginable strength and power! In admiration for the awesome strength and power of each BraveHeart Woman!
Every Thursday morning for 45 minutes, I teach a group of young teenagers hatha yoga and concentration. It is quite astounding how rapidly their concentration improves through the practice of yoga. We spend about 30 minutes on hatha yoga and approximately 15 minutes on concentration exercises. The following exercise is helpful not only for young teenagers but for the parents as well.
Use a watch with a timer or any other timer you have available. Set your intention ahead of time by choosing one word that represents what you will concentrate on. It could be a quality you would like to manifest or any inspiring word that is meaningful to you in the moment.
Yesterday we used the 'heart'. The children decided that if their mind began to wander they would say, "my heart, my heart, my heart." We placed our hands on our hearts, closed our eyes, and I set the alarm.
At the end of one minute, interestingly enough, most of the children did not open their eyes. They were still wrapped up in concentrating on their heart.
When asked what had changed for them, one girl replied, "I feel calmer." I then asked a boy what he felt; he said, "I feel quieter."
As I watched, their faces looked more peaceful; they were less restless (no unconscious moving of body parts) and feeling of their presence (their vibration) had changed.
What could this quick exercise do for your children - for you? It only takes one minute. I invite you to use it with your children and use it yourself, as often as you feel you 'need' it.
Do you always see what others see? Rarely. When 5 different persons view an incident, there will be 5 different accounts of the story. Looking at this young girl's face brings up many questions about what she is looking at and many perceptions of what emotions she is feeling. At best, most of our perceptions are limited.
What do you think she is looking at? What emotion do you feel she is feeling?
She could be looking at her Christmas present under the tree. She could be looking at a magician performing a magical feat. She could be looking for her parents in a crowd of people.
She could be feeling surprise and delight. She could be feeling disbelief or awe. She could be feeling fear. Perception counts. Perception and manifestation go hand-in-hand. Judgements, criticisms, guessing, are all mistakes. Unless, you are 100% sure of what it is that you are perceiving, let it go.
How can we perceive a greater truth? A more illumining truth? -We can elevate our consciousness. -We can aspire to 'see' the 'truth'. -We can offer our gratitude for having the 'truth' revealed to us. -We can set our intention to 'see' the 'truth'. -We can call on our heart and soul to help us to 'see' the "truth'.
Whatever you perceive tends to begin to manifest because you hold what you perceive to be the 'truth'.
Therefore, regardless of what the young girl is actually looking at or what she is actually feeling, what you perceive begins to manifest in your reality. We wish to manifest a new reality for ourselves and for all of humanity. Be aware of what you are actually perceiving!
Do you see what others see? Perception does count!!! Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community
It A-L-L shows: your radiance, your confidence, your light - AND, everything else that you are thinking, feeling and believing.
In other words, we are all open books to most other people. We all know persons who upon entering a room, make everyone feel that they are viewing the morning sunrise.
Sometimes we forget that when we walk into a room, others can tell when we are happy, when we are pre-occupied, when we are 'down' or depressed and especially, when we are stepping into our power, our confidence, our radiance and our light.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we were able to radiate love, joy and kindness at every moment? Depending on how intensely and how often we focus on these kinds of states of being and how much we believe we are actually aligned with these states, will depend upon what people see and feel when they are within our immediate circle of influence.
Awareness helps. One-pointed focus helps. Intention helps. There are many ways to help ourselves move along the progression line of self-improvement. What are some of the ways you empower and manifest your radiance, your confidence and your light?
Imagine all can see your radiance, your confidence and your light immanating from the very core of your being!!! It all shows~ This is your magnificence, your soul-power!!! Beautiful!
To assist you in activating your creativity, below are 7 'Golden Keys' to consider. These Golden Keys will enhance the enrichment of your life through your creativity. When we tap into our creativity we are able to manifest greater happiness in our family life, greater success in business and greater progress in our personal development or spiritual life.
Below are 7 Golden Keys to trigger the blossoming of your creative self - immediately:
1. Set your intention to see with 'creative eyes' before beginning a project or before taking action of any kind. Choose to set your intention as soon as you awaken in the morning.
2. Pay attention to new thoughts, new feelings and new people you meet each day. There is a reason this newness is coming into your life.
3. Keep a small 'Creativity Notebook' with you so you can jot down ideas that come to you or a person's name and contact information.
4. Take unusual action - action that is outside of your usual method of operation. Go to work a different way; use your opposite hand; change your hair style; change your routine when you walk into your home at night.
5. Trust your insights, your sense of intuition. Take action on the silent hints that you occasionally receive. Follow through to discover the 'why' of your action.
6. Maintain your consciousness at a high standard. Keep the emotions of joy, love, friendliness, trust, acceptance to the fore. Avoid all negative emotions by thinking/feeling a better thought/feeling to bring yourself back up to your high standard.
7. Offer gratitude each time you recognize that you are opening to your creative self. Gratitude will increase your receptivity to more easily access your creativity.
I invite you to choose one or two of the 7 Golden Keys above to be mindful of today so you can readily connect with your creativity. Take special notice of how easily your creativity comes to the fore!
We are all co-creators. Let us create with intention and purpose! Manifest your soul power!
Each morning set an intention to check your body posture often. This one act alone is of utmost importance! Through the postures that we assume during our daily activities, we send messages not only to the Universe but to our own sub-conscious mind as well.
When we are standing straight and tall, we are sending out a definite message of confidence and self worth. We are also feelingconfidence and healthy self worth.
On the other hand, when we are hunched over, collapsing into our chest, we are sending a totally different message of fatigue, lack of self worth and without dynamism. At the same time that we are sending this message, we arefeelingfatigue, little self worth and no dynamism.
When we want to change our consciousness from lack of confidence and little self worth to feeling supremely confident and full of self worth, we simply change our physiology. We move our body into a posture that helps us to feel that which we want to experience.
Is it possible to stand tall and have a sad face? Can we be stooped over and sincerely smile? No! We feel ridiculous and incongruent.
Is it possible to meditate while slouched on the couch with one foot on the coffee table? The answer is obvious. It is important to be alert and poised while keeping the spine straight and erect yet relaxed.
We must embody the energies that we want to radiate and transmit to the Universe. Remembering the Law of Attraction, when we want to feel more confidence, more self worth, we stand, sit, move, think, talk and act in a self confident manner. Likewise with all other energies and feelings that we wish to attract and feel, we must do the same.
REMINDER: Remember to check your body posture - often!
Calling all BraveHearts to learn how to do the '10 Minute RISE'. We all desire to go forward every day in every way and often set lofty goals and dreams for ourselves that can seem far beyond our reach. To continually move forward to manifest our dreams and goals, we can inspire ourselves by setting an intention to use 10 minutes at a time to do something simple and meaningful.
10 minutes is short enough and at the same time long enough; much can be accomplished. One way to plan for 10 minutes is to schedule it. Actually write it in your planner or simply make a note each day of your intention for a '10 Minute RISE' three or four times a day, or whatever you can manage.
Even if you work in someone else's office or place of employment, it is normal to take several 10 minute breaks away from the computer or whatever you are doing.
When you plan for a '10 Minute RISE' three times a day, that is a half hour of activity that moves you toward your dreams and goals. At the end of one week (at least 5 days), you have 2 1/2 hours to your credit. At the end of one month, you will have completed 10 hours toward your dreams and goals!!!
What can you accomplish in only 10 minutes? Use your creativity; what simple and meaningful things would help you move forward? The more we simplify and streamline our lives, the more ease we will have in moving forward.
Make your own personal '10 Minute RISE' list. It might go something like the following:
1. Decide a larger goal you wish to focus on as you set your intention for each of your '10 Minute RISE' sessions.
2. Organize something: your desk, your bills, your schedule, your 'To Do List', your files, your CD's and DVD's.
3. Clear the clutter: your drawers, the tops of tables, cabinets, refrigerator, chairs, a closet
Every person has music within them. BraveHearts, where is your personal music?
How do you find your personal music? Every breath you take, every word you speak, every movement your body makes, has its own music.
When you do not intend to see or feel or hear the music within you and around you, you lose the opportunity to 'tune in' to the beauty, the harmony and the poetry that you create.
When you do intend to be aware of the music within and around you, then inside the depth of your breath, inside the essence of your every word, inside the flow of your every movement, you are bound to hear your music.
Begin right now. Intend to find your personal music in the 4 simple movements you are about to take.
1. Sit upright in your chair, leaning back slightly with your head right over your shoulders. Simply notice how that feels as compared to how you were sitting a moment ago.
2. Relax your face into a soft smile.
3. With your hands pressing on your thighs, take a deep breath in as you move your chin to the ceiling (press your torso forward as you inhale).
4. Exhale, Relax, and come back to your original seated position.
You can repeat the 4 movements several times if you wish. What kind of music did your movement make? Was it the music of peace? relaxation? clarity? relief?
The above is a tiny sample of being aware of your own music. Look at patterns in your life. Be aware of when and how you make your best music. Tune into your 'music making' more often. Do you feel the music our BraveHeart Women Community is making? I do!
Be aware of how you are moving your life forward! Is there anyone who does not want to have more, be more and do more?
Many persons spend their time and energy simply trying to get from the beginning of one day to the next. Days are spent rushing from one activity to another, family and friends are last on the list because the 'To Do List' is so long.
How much value have you added to your own life in the first six months of this year? How much value would you like to add to your life in the last six months of this year?
For some this would be difficult to measure. There are many ways we can create more value in our lives. Following are four questions to help determine how your life is moving forward. I invite you to change the questions around to suit your own circumstances.
1. Have you taken action that has brought you or your family more happiness, more oneness? For example, are you enjoying more quality time together?
2. Is there more ease and flow in your life? For example, do you feel that you are struggling less with your daily affairs?
3. Are you smiling and laughing more? For example, do you find that friends and family want to spend more time with you and engage you in conversation?
4. Do you find that you are more often concentrating on others and how you could add value to their lives? For example, do you offer to water your neighbour's garden while they are away for the weekend?
Make up your own list of questions or action steps to help you move your life forward. Rather than live to SURVIVE, take steps to live to THRIVE. A little attention; a little intention. All done from the heart and offered with loving gratitude.

Create a feeling of joyful anticipation today - every day! When we anticipate something, we expect it to happen, even look forward to it.
When we anticipate vacation time, the 'looking forward' gives us a sense of joy - ahead of the actual vacation. Perhaps the reason why so many persons plan their vacations far in advance of the actual date is to experience the joy of thinking, feeling and planning for the vacation.
You can use the same process for other aspects of your life. Joyously anticipate the unfolding of your day. As soon as you bring joyful anticipation to your intention, that intention sends out ripples of a particular vibratory resonance that attracts more of the same.
What are some of the other ways you could set an intention for 'joyful anticipation'? Use 'joyful anticipation' for your family affairs - for the meal you will enjoy together on the weekend. Use 'joyful anticipation' for your business or work situation - for the conference call scheduled for every Friday. Use 'joyful anticipation' for your relationships with friends or groups - for ways you can add value to the relationships.
What is one way you could create a feeling of joyful anticipation today!

One way to realize that your intentions have an enormous effect on the results of your day is to experiment.
You will need to set aside one day when you do not place any intentions at all. Be observant and notice how your day plays out and what you are feeling as you progress.
You will also need to set aside one day (preferably the following day) when you do place an intention, as often as possible. Spend perhaps one or two minutes each time.
As soon as you awake, you would begin by placing an intention for the kind of day you plan to enjoy. For example, you may say to yourself while you concentrate on the feeling: "I choose to create a productive day of ease and flow." Simple, not complicated.
You would continue to place intentions before each block of time that you change your activity or focus. For example, before you drive to work: "I choose to drive to work safely and with complete awareness."
Another example: before you attend an important meeting your concentration could be, "I choose to be fully present during this meeting and to make my decisions for the highest good of all."
You would continue in this way until the end of the day. Even before sleep, you could set another intention. Be aware of how your day progresses when you do set an intention as compared with the day that you do not set an intention. With little effort, you can easily discover the magic of creating an intention!
Here's to the magic in your life!
