With all the writing we are doing now and intend to increase, let’s make our work quick and easy.

How many times do you want to minimize all the windows you have open?

OR

Do you want to open all the windows that you pulled up but have minimized?

Internet Tip #2

To Minimize all the windows you have opened:
Press the Windows Key + M simultaneously (No need to use capital M)
This exposes the desktop, a side benefit.

Internet Tip #3

To Open all the windows you pulled up that are not minimized:
Press the Windows Key + Shift Key + M simultaneously
This is especially helpful when you have large files that open a somewhat slowly.

Enjoy and have fun writing.

Situation I find myself in many times:
I need to access the Search Window to find a file in My Documents. Presently I’m either at the Desktop or have several program windows open. Either way getting to the Search Window is a clumsy process with several clicks required.

Hmmm:
Do this instead - to access the Search Window quickly from anywhere:

Press the Windows Key + F - and there’s the Search Window

When that Window comes up, it’s easy to access My Documents, Favorites, Tools and other things also. A very handy shortcut.

Enjoy writing and operating the computer!

Did you notice the blog scheduler available to us in BraveHeartWomen?

At bottom of page where you post a blog, you can schedule a date and time to have that blog be posted and viewable by the public.

It's so easy and helps us write and post at times that are convenient. We can write several blogs at one time, and schedule the day and time they will post.

This feature is also available in NetWebMarketer.

Make today a great day.

Business Success doesn’t just happen. It begins with a person who has a thought or an idea… I need to stop right there……..There is a lot more however the person has to be special if the business is to succeed and make their life and the world a better place.

A special internal mindset of certain internal core beliefs, values and principles is important before anything else… Or a person must be willing to learn and develop this mindset quickly. Without this business success mindset, much or all of the effort and actions will be in vain… or perhaps yield a limited result with undue stress, anxiety, worry, and results

Personal integrity is the core value we'll focus on today. The business owner or owners must have personal integrity that they cultivate into their business, customers and clients and others.

I have given much thought to this serious and vital core value of personal integrity, did much research, reviewed my experiences as a business owner myself and of the hundreds of clients I’ve worked with over the years. What I came up with is a book of knowledge and wisdom. Oops, how do I condense this into short, clear and useable information?

I’ve found excellent personal integrity wisdom for you that includes a suggested personal code of conduct as well as the benefits of operating with integrity. Please read “Operating with the Truth” (personal Integrity) from Tips for Success.org.

I already discussed the mindset principle of “Believe in Yourself” attitude earlier this month…. and there are more coming. >br>
Stay with us to build your Business Success Mindset! in preparation for launching your business or taking your current business to the next level.

Here’s what I learned from my experience this week. Hopefully my story and tips will help you become more aware and more astute in protecting yourself from unauthorized charges to your credit card or checking accounts from the internet.

Nearly $600 hit my business checking account as an ‘immediate transfer charge’ from internet Merchant Account, i.e., Paypal. It could be one of many internet services where we have an account.

I received letter from bank saying I need to add cash to my checking account to cover that transfer charge, which was denied because of insufficient funds in my account.

I knew I did not purchase anything that large recently. I contacted the Merchant Account and they had already put a ‘hold’ on my account as they recognized this as an unusual charge. The hold would prevent additional transactions to the account in the future. (Don’t assume that all merchant account companies will do this, because they don’t.)

But the existing unauthorized fraudulent transaction would be presented again to my checking account until a letter of denial was received from my bank or there was sufficient funds in the account again. Wow, that’s dangerous because I fund that account when I pay my monthly bills! So at some point, there could be cash enough to cover the charges!

I was lucky this time because my account had minimal balance right now.

The error correction process is circular making it difficult to make changes, reverse errors, and protect your cash. Technology is not as flexible as a real person.

Six Tips to Protect Yourself From Fraudulent Online Purchases
This is general information, and is not intended to be a comprehensive list. But these tips will give you a good head start on staving off fraudulent online purchases.

Tip 1: Only buy goods from secure websites you know and trust. Secure website addresses start with https and may use a security system such as Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode security for online payments.

Tip 2: Credit cards are by far the safest way to pay online, according to the National Consumers League. That's because your liability is limited to $50 under the Fair Credit Billing Act.

Many credit-card companies have $0 liability policies. This means you won't be held accountable for any fraudulent purchases.

However, read the fine print. MasterCard has zero liability policy good only for U.S. issued cards. And you are limited to one purchase in last 12 months, plus your account must be in good standing.

Tip 3: Look for time limits on filing a claim. Some companies require a claim must be filed within 30 days of the fraud.

Tip 4: Never click on links or attachments in emails unless you are 100% sure that the email is legitimate. Protect yourself by always typing in the address of your bank or online shopping site yourself, rather than by following links.

Tip 5: Debit card payments have limitations. Your liability limit under federal law increases the longer you wait to report any unauthorized activity. If you report it within two days, your liability is capped at $50. Wait longer than two days, though, and it skyrockets to $500.

And if you don't report the unauthorized debit transaction within 60 days, you could be liable for the full amount -- even if it exceeds $500, says the Federal Trade Commission

Tip 6: Review the charges to your bank and credit card accounts regularly, at least weekly. I’ve always done this and have caught several errors. These days I think this kind of review is more important than ever before.

Have a happy day and keep your cash safe.

Reading this book found on the shelf at son’s home: Moral Intelligence – Enhancing Business Performance & Leadership Success By Doug Lennick & Fred Kiel

Attracted my attention because (my personal opinion) it seems there is great lack of a moral code (what’s right morally) in business, in personal life, in governments and in the world. Anything goes because words can be muddled and tumbled around to give appearance of something good. quick and many actions, all heaped together on top of each other for appearance …. These techniques fake us out, confuse our intuition, our emotions.

Short term progress and results are desirable to build hope and confidence. But most important is long-lived success, prosperity, and happiness... which comes from doing what's right as the foundation, + commitment to 'never give up' + a few more things.

May today bring you one-step closer to happiness, success and wealth for yourself.

4. Successful Entrepreneur
5. Genius

They make sense to me – I’ve been at every one of these levels more than once. How about you?
Once you started, did you persevere to reach the ‘Genius’ stage as an entrepreneur?

These steps come from John Maxwell’s book, “Failing Forward”.

What if Thomas Edison Quit? He would have failed and the world wouldn’t have light bulbs and many other inventions. It’s reported that he tried 10,000 times before the light came on. So, did he fail 9.999 times?

No, because he didn't quit. It just took 9,999 lessons to learn how to make the bulb shine. He never quit. He learned another lesson from each of the 9,999 tries. Each time he created a new idea, a new strategy to implement.

That’s the lesson for us. When something doesn’t go as planned, we never Quit. We examine why it didn’t work and develop a new strategy. Maybe we tweak the process a bit or in a major way; maybe we take a new direction or a new path, but we never Quit.

Each step is an experience that moves us forward – one step closer to success. The process is “Failing Forward” like John Maxwell says.

The world is on your side. It wants us to succeed – to never fail by quitting. It provides us with abundance in our thoughts, heart and actions to have the passion, determination and commitment to ‘fail forward’ one step at a time. Quitting is not an option.

Will you accept that abundance and the challenge to let your light shine bright for the world?

Sometimes I call procrastination by a term that feels better - patience . It’s time to clarify.

What is patience?
The dictionary says:
(a) quiet, steady perseverance; even-tempered care; diligence; to work with patience.
(b) an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay.

That’s pretty straight forward. I am patient most times, sometimes overly patient. Patience can turn into procrastination, then frustration, and even overwhelm when several projects are unfinished.

What is procrastination? comes from Latin word which means “forward to tomorrow”
The dictionary says:
(a) to defer action; delay; to procrastinate until an opportunity is lost.
(b) to put off till another day or time; to postpone, prolong

It’s easy to procrastinate when we dislike or fear a task or situation. Or if there is something more enjoyable and attractive to do at that same time.

Procrastination leads to using excuses to shield ourselves from feeling guilty, and it helps us rationalize our actions. In addition, we lose vital energy and enthusiasm. Some excuses we use:
- Better late than never.
- I work better under pressure (so we let things go until the last moment).
- I believe that if it was worth doing, it would have been done already

If only they were effective, huh.

Here’s an area I procrastinate that causes frustration, waste of time when I can’t find what I need. There’s a small table next to my computer where I put notes and pieces of information gathered while on the phone, personal info that’s important, emails, phone numbers, ideas and thoughts. The information pile grows like “Miracle Grow” fertilizer on plants and flowers. Add to that the phone, recorder, daily planner, notebook….

Now the pile needs attention…. can’t procrastinate any longer. Waste of time caused by accumulating info rather handling it immediately.

Solutions for procrastination:
-- Do unpleasant tasks first thing in the morning, and get them out of the way.
-- Set realistic “To Do” list with reasonable completion dates, so don’t get overwhelmed. Have a plan.
-- Break down larger projects into smaller, achievable tasks
-- If need to be motivated, just start right now, which will lead to the next step, next step, until you build the momentum that motivates you to continue

Final Thoughts:

Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.” Napoleon Hill

Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow – That is patience.”

How will you practice patience today? Start with just one situation.
What procrastination habit will you eliminate today? Just one.

Yes, I remember that sunny, blue sky day. Our son working in Minneapolis called us to say, 'turn on the TV - its awful'. I remained glued to watching the rest of the day. I get goosebumps just remembering it, and my pain was non-existent compared to those involved and suffering. We should NEVER forget that travesty -- AND -- the Lesson for freedom and liberty.

We recall that day and time but……. are we and I growing and getting better as people, as a nation and world - from that horrific experience?

** What did we (I) learn from that?
** What action did we (I) take from what we learned?
** Are we (I) still taking action today to protect our freedom and liberty?
*** If not, why not?
** Will our freedom and liberty remain if we (I) do little or nothing?
** What kind of actions can we (I) take every day to remain free and have our liberty as defined in the Constitution?

These are some of the questions that burst forth to me as I remembered yesterday, and saw a 60-minute segment of the events. I was brought back to REALITY – that the good and great in America for all people, including myself – and also for all people around the world – REQUIRES attention and effort. Nothing good comes without effort, energy, work, thought, constant action.

Some of my thoughts of what freedom and liberty requires of every person (and please share your thoughts too):

1. That I become and remain more aware about the ‘whole Truth’ of what is going on in our country and worldwide. To be aware of the truth we need to seek those that tell the ‘truth’.

** With the internet, as well as from other sources, it is easier to find the truth today. We can see and hear actual words spoken by the real person in many cases, seeing their body language, tone of voice and more, their authenticity or not………… and much more.
** We can read the actual written words and documents to validate if the ‘whole truth’ is told.
** Other sources like TV, etc. But we have to make sure they are presenting the ‘whole truth’.

2. Seek to understand the consequences of the ‘truth’ we learn. Is it good or NOT for promoting and retaining freedom and liberty?. Your common sense is an excellent tool for this – you and I – all ordinary citizens – are intelligent and filled with wisdom. We know in our heart, our intuition, and our soul if what is proposed and happening in our country is moving us toward or promoting liberty and freedom or NOT.

3. Take actions often:
** Ask questions often and always: of everyone at the local, regional, state and federal level who are responsible for designing, creating, promoting and approving rules, regulations, and whatever else affects us, the people.
** Ask questions, then listen very carefully, about how the topic or rule or regulation will affect us today, and especially tomorrow and for the long term.
** Determine -- using your common sense, wisdom and more – if what you hear makes sense or not, is reasonable or not, will improve our freedom and liberty or not.

4. Always remain aware and conscious of happenings in the world around us. Remember, freedom and liberty, like all good things – requires continual energy, effort and action from us, the people.

This is just a snapshot – sharing with you my deep respect and love for freedom and liberty in America. I am so very grateful for the opportunity to live in this country – AND I hope every person all over the world has that same experience.

Your thoughts are always appreciated. Let your BraveHeart show everyday for liberty and freedom!
