New York firefighters, during 9/11, tapped into untold strength and power as they faced the worst crisis in the history of the city and of the nation.

While white water rafting, a family with four children crashed into a rock knocking the father into the rapids. In crisis mode, the wife grabbed her husband's arm and flung him back into the raft - unimaginable strength and power!

My cousin and her husband were in a serious automobile accident. In horror, finding my cousin pinned under the car, her husband immediately tilted the car up and was able to free her - amazing strength and power!

Where does this incredible strength and power come from? Our physical strength is magnified when our body, vital, mind, heart and soul call intensely on our inner power. This power comes from an inner and higher Source, our Soul-Power.

We can learn to tap into our inner and outer resources on a daily basis. How? When we set an intention, we do so with intensive one-pointedness and focus. We feel and know that what we intend is happening right now in the moment. We then release all attachment to the outcome and allow the Universe to provide.

Over simplified, but effective, as we have learned from many of our mentors. But like any muscle, we must practice the process and slowly but surely develop our manifesting capacity, our soul power.

Feel free to share a time when you have had to tap into your own unimaginable strength and power!
In admiration for the awesome strength and power of each BraveHeart Woman!

When you were a child, did you believe in magic? Special happenings that were mysterious or inexplicable?

Did you enjoy watching magicians who performed tricks that were extraordinary and perhaps even baffling?

Why was Harry Potter so successful? Why were Houdini and David Copperfield so well known? Adults and especially children love the surprise and delight of magic.

What I am suggesting is that we continue to live in the magic of the moment. Yes, magic is alive, but only for those who have the eyes to see it, feel it and know it.

Magic lives in light and higher vibration, higher consciousness. Is it not worthy to aspire to the wonder of all things?

Believe in that which is not seen but can be felt in the heart. We as adults grow old too fast and leave our child within starving and cold.

Instead, let us foster the budding and creative soul force within us. We too, can again experience the magic of life! ;)

Enjoy a magical day!

Prepare for Spring NOW!
Blossom + Bee.jpg

How?

Outwardly, do the obvious. Toss out all of those old files you have in your cabinet. Decide which winter clothes you want to keep and give away or throw away the rest. Store only those things that are absolutely functional, necessary, beautiful or sacred. Sort and Clean all spaces in your apartment or house.

Inwardly, not as easy. Again, throw out all of those old 'files' you run so often. Breathe them out; exercise them out; pray them out; meditate them out. Replace them with new 'files'. Keep only those thoughts, feelings and beliefs that serve the highest in you and that are beautiful or sacred.

As we prepare for spring, rewards will blossom both inwardly and outwardly. New opportunity, new personal growth, new peace and new joy.

Worth preparing for?
Just Do It!

What will you do to prepare for spring today?

Masaru Emoto proved through his photos that water that had been exposed to concentrated positive thoughts or words and then frozen, resulted in beautiful and well-formed crystals. Many were colorful and had complex snowflake patterns (see the photos on Hedy's blog: 'Water and the Luxury of Negative Thought.')

On the other hand, water that had been exposed to concentrated negative thoughts or words and then frozen, produced patterns that were malformed, fragmented and that barely made a crystal.

The most beautiful crystals were formed after being exposed to two special words: 'LOVE' and 'GRATITUDE'. This comes as no surprise! We know the power of these two words.

It helps to be mindful of what kind of thought and word seeds we are planting. At times during our day we plant STRESS seeds, or FEAR seeds, or WORRY seeds or any number of other 'negative' seeds.

Yet at other times during our day we plant HAPPINESS seeds, or PEACE seeds, or the king and queen of seeds: LOVE and GRATITUDE.

How will your garden grow? How much of your 'field' will be positive? How much of your 'field' will be negative? Which one outweighs the other - and by how much?

Planting Positive seeds, is Planting Protection seeds - protection from negativities and other hostile forces. Be mindful of what you plant in your garden! Do you want to harvest the sparsity of dead weeds or the blossoming of flowers and fruits; no crystal at all or a beautiful and colorful snowflake crystal?

Cheers for your Beautiful Garden!!! B-)

When it comes to shoveling snow, I am usually in resistance. Last night we were 'blessed' with 10-12 inches of snow - a lot for New York City (I am in Queens)!
1149473_river_in_winter.jpg

I knew the snow was coming and had a little talk with myself last night. Did I want to go out and do battle with that big pile out there; or did I want to enjoy the process, admire the beauty and get good exercise?

I chose the latter: to let go of the resistance that holds me back by squandering too much energy to hold it. This morning again I consciously let go of my resistance to the task of shovelling the snow.

Surprise, surprise, there was a reward for me for going with the FLOW instead of being in Resistance!

I poked my head out my front door and at that moment a teenage boy walked by and asked if I had a shovel he could borrow for the day. His offer was to shovel whatever I needed to have done in return for borrowing my shovel.

Needless to say, I took him up on his offer. He shoveled my front steps and walk, my front sidewalk and half of my driveway! Even if he keeps the shovel, it was a good deal!

At every moment we have a choice: Resistance or Flow. Choose being in the Flow and I am sure you will be rewarded in some way!

In the Flow . . .

Experiencing an emotion that is painful and does not feel good is motivation enough to learn to create a 'better feeling' emotion.

How do we do that?

- Allow yourself to feel your emotion.
- Name the emotion that you are experiencing. Accept responsibility for your emotion.
- Let go of your 'story' (who or what caused the emotion) but keep the emotion for now.
- Accept your emotion without judgement or resistance (what we resist persists).
- Ask, "What can I learn from this emotion?"
"What belief about myself allowed me to experience this emotion?"
- Replace your belief that caused the painful emotion ("He/she hates me!") with a 'better feeling' belief ("He/she is exhausted from working two jobs so I know it is not all about me." )

Not easy, but the process works!
Whenever an emotion appears that does not feel good, we can transform that painful emotion and belief into something that feels much better!

Practice makes perfect!

This morning I watched a video from YouTube called 'Peace from the Quantum Level'. In the video a quantum physicist, Dr. John Hagelin, spoke about 'creating peace' which was to me, totally fascinating! :O

Speaking eloquently and masterfully, Dr. Hagelin explained that what we need are many "peacemakers who develop their nervous systems to the point where they become lighthouses of peace, radiating peace."

We have all had the experience of being in a person's presence who has a strong 'peace' vibration or feeling about them. Of course, the reverse is true as well: strong emotions such as happiness, anger or depression are immediately noticeable in a person.

Dr. Hagelin went on to state that "consciousness is a field that we share". He explained masterfully a difficult concept with the following example. Even as sound expands in ripples out into all directions, so also does consciousness. The sound from one speaker gives us a certain amount of sound. The sound from two speakers placed close together, will give us 4 times the amount of sound as the one speaker did. The sound from three speakers placed close together, will give us 9 times the amount of sound as the one speaker did.

What are the implications from this knowledge?

The power of consciousness (i.e. in the form of prayer, meditation, intensive one-pointed thought) grows as the 'square of the number of people doing it together.'

Can we create peace? By having 3 or more people in close proximity concentrating on peace, feeling peace, becoming a vibrating conduit of peace, are we able to bring peace to that physical space?

Many say that we can.

What do you think/feel?

Are you familiar with: 'Eyes are the windows to our soul'?
960887_eye_closeup.jpg
Looking in through the 'windows' of another's eyes is revealing for the observer.
We see much about the person - the openness, the integrity, the love, as well as things less inspiring.

Looking out through the 'windows' of our own eyes, we create our own reality.

We can choose to see with 'old eyes' - OR
We can choose to see with 'new eyes.

Choosing to look out through 'old eyes', we see through the smog of anxiety, fear and pain.
Choosing to look out through 'new eyes', we see through the mist of beauty, love and oneness.

What we 'see' shall manifest into our reality.
Replace the smog of anxiety, fear and pain with the mist of beauty, love and oneness.
You can then fashion your dream world.

Do you 'see' with 'Old Eyes' or with 'New Eyes'?
Make the transition - one glance at a time.
See with eyes that nurture the soul.
Victory lies ahead.

Have a victorious day! :-D

Do you ever feel that you would like to transcend your yesterday's self? ?:|

You are not the same person today that you were yesterday, 24 hours ago.
You have had many hours of additional experiences, thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Yesterday's limitations are only stumbling blocks to today's growth. If you wish to transcend your present reality, then you must move toward more excellence, more focussed intention, more consistent action toward the desires you have for a new reality.

Do you aspire to go beyond that which you are?
Would you like to grow into a person who has more creativity, more inner and outer wealth, more capacity to contribute to humanity?

How to do this? Keep a silent time just for yourself each day - preferably early in the morning and/or after the hustle and bustle of the day has subsided - in the evening.

After you take a few deep breaths to relax, set your intention for a greater degree of excellence in one or two areas of your life.
Take small steps, and, do it every day.

Worth 'working' for? ?:|
I feel so. :)

What do you feel?

Some of us are going through so many changes so rapidly that we are having image problems! B-) ?:| :|
image011.jpg

Yet we are all equally beautiful despite having challenges with our personal image.
Many of the old parts of our identity are now disappearing.
Many new things are being added to what we are now becoming.
How is a person to keep up with all of this?

We must allow ourselves to detach from the outdated, outmoded, old and non-serving parts of our image.
We must allow ourselves to release and let go when needed.
We must allow ourselves to go with the flow when needed.

How do we do this?
When we do our very best; when we leave the rest to a higher force, then we are 'allowing'.
When we 'allow', we are surrendering to the highest within our self.
The highest within is our soul.
We want to access our soul power.

Once we enter into this process of surrendering to our highest, we begin to see our true image more clearly.
image016.jpg

Even then, we must continue to allow change and growth and at the same time, welcome the totally new and completely unique to manifest within us.

Turn your image problems into creative solutions.
Be rewarded with more clarity, more satisfaction, more fulfillment.
No more image problems!

Earl Nightingale is famous for telling the story of 'Acres of Diamonds'. He tells of a farmer who got so excited about finding diamonds that he sold his land to go out and search for diamond mines. He searched everywhere for a diamond mine yet found nothing.

The story goes that the person who bought this farmer's land found that he actually had on his land one of the largest diamond mines ever discovered. The farmer who sold his land had been literally standing on acres of diamonds.

Diamonds in the rough look like pieces of black coal and because he didn't recognize what a 'raw' diamond looked like, he missed out on the treasure he already had.

How are we like that farmer of long ago and what is our lesson? Instead of developing the possibilities that we have within reach in our current situation, we are constantly searching elsewhere for life's treasures, feeling that the grass is greener on the other side.

What treasures do you have in your life that you have overlooked and failed to appreciate?
Look around you carefully with the intention of finding at least one 'diamond' today.

What does that diamond look like? A piece of coal? A child's smile? A Grandpa's whiskers? A dusty old jar?
Look carefully! I am sure you will find something in your 'acres of diamonds'!

My 'diamond' for the day: today I e-mailed one of my cousins I hadn't been in touch with for months. She is sending three quilts to me that she feels I would like to have. They are hand made by our Grandmother. A very nice and memorable diamond to find!

Take the time to look for your 'diamond' today!
What did you find?

Rhonda Byrne of The Secret, offers the following message: "Every good thought, every good word, every good emotion, and every act of kindness, is lifting the vibration of your being to new heights. And as you begin to raise your vibration, a new life and a new world will reveal itself to you. Other than transforming your own life through lifting your vibration, you lift others' lives too. The positive vibration of your energy emanates out like a stone thrown into water, touching our planet and every living thing on it. As you rise higher, you take the world with you. The Secret Team has created a gift for you. This clip features our beautiful Planet Earth. As you experience this clip you will emit positive forces of energy across Planet Earth that will reach every single living thing on it. You will lift yourself, and as you lift yourself, you lift the entire world. From The Secret to you, here is Planet Earth - our home." Enjoy! Rijuta Tooker Soul-Power Community

Who needs to be an expert in concentration? Everyone!
How to increase your concentration?
Feel that your concentration is the ARROW!

You want to pierce the object of your concentration with intensive one-pointedness.
You want to master that which you concentrate on, with speed and with ease.
Feel that you are a divine archer. Focus. Aim. Intensity.

595948_archer.jpg

Now that the information age is overtaking us in every way, we each need to be able to develop our concentration powers to the maximum.

We need to be able to concentrate without the outer disturbance of all that surrounds us in our daily lives. We need to be able to concentrate without the inner disturbance of the 'thieves' within us: fear, doubt, worry, anxiety.

To be an expert, you may wish to practice concentration first on an object in order to increase your capacity. Choose something that is attractive or beautiful to you. It could be a flower, a candle flame or an art object. Anything that is simple, pure and brings you joy.

Using a timer will help. Begin with very short periods of intense concentration on your object - 10 seconds is a good place to start. Gradually increase the time as you are able to concentrate without the disturbance of the mind.

For those who find it difficult to concentrate for even 10 seconds, stay away from your 'intellectual mind' and bring your 'illumined mind' to the fore. Tip: Place your hand on your heart and allow your concentration to begin from there as you draw from your soul-power.

When practicing the above exercise, keep your inner vigilance and alertness. Allow only your concentration with your object, not with the thoughts that try to enter your mind.

Practice. You can do it!
Increase your concentration today!

Harold W. Becker asks: "What would happen if we actually embraced change as a wonderful opportunity to restore our creative capacity and begin anew with love?" Harold W. Becker is known for inspiring people to 'love unconditionally.' In the video be aware of the wisdom in his words. For many, it is a new paradigm for our inevitable experience of change. My favorite quote: "Always remember who you are - a beautiful and outrageously creative being, capable of manifesting a world filled with peace, joy and unconditional love." Read with your heart! Slow down to speed up!
What does this mean?
1088027_go_slow.jpg
In the past month or so, I found myself beginning to add more and more to my daily To Do list, found myself multi-tasking more and more and had moments of feeling that I was 'spinning my wheels'.

Whoa, this was not working for me, so what to do?

Multi-tasking over long periods of time causes excessive stress. Many, if not most of us, find we are multi-tasking constantly. Now as time 'seems' to be speeding up, we have a need to learn the skill of multi-tasking. We can actually train the brain to channel energy so we can accomplish more in less time, but it takes practice.

Following is taken from an article by Ron Knaus, Multi-tasking, slow down to speed up.) I highly suggest that you read his whole article (click on the blue link).

"When you’re performing multiple tasks that require your undivided attention, your brain gets overloaded, as it can only process information from one channel at a time. Therefore, do not multi-task if the assignment requires your full attention. Once that urgent or detailed task is complete, then you can go back to doing the other tasks you normally do. This step will save you lots of rework, as you’re more prone to make mistakes when your brain is overloaded."

Slowing down helps us to connect with our inner power, our soul power. This is when we can best receive clarity, creativity and light/energy.

Watch an olympic runner. He or she has efficiency of movement, is obviously in control of the situation and moves with intensity - totally focussed.

As this is a holiday weekend, try to slow down just for just a few hours. You may get the mental, physical and emotional rest you need. You will drive more safely and be more connected with your family and friends.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! :-D
