16 Green Smoothie – Fast Food
Now that the kids are back to school, I’m ready to start making more “green drinks” for my lunch.

To-day is the day.

I’m not an expert at being a raw foodist, but I have tried it and love the energy and well-being I get from “eating more raw foods”. So to-day when I looked in the fridge, yesterday’s lettuce was sitting in the bowl, and I really didn’t feel like a cooked egg, so out came the Vita-Mix.

Here’s my 7 minute make and clean-up time for a FABULOUS FAST FOOD GREEN LUNCH.

1 handful lettuce

1/2 cucumber

1 carrot

2 Tbsp. Raw sesame seeds

1 cup water

sea salt

1 tbsp. Glory bowl dressing (already homemade previously)

Blend for about 2 minutes, pour and drink. YUM. It is so good, and easy too.

I am not sure why I think eating raw food is difficult. This was easy, and takes 7 minutes, including clean-up time. BRAVO!

Now for the health benefits.

1. Raw food has all it’s enzymes in place, and the nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, fiber, and phytonutrients are absorbed easily into your body.

2. Sesame seeds are high in protein and minerals.

3. Lettuce, carrots and cucumber each offer their own specific nutrients, such as fibre, beta-carotene, and cucumber is a great digestive aid, alkaline and cooling to the system.

Drinking one of these a day, provides 3 servings of alkaline vegetables. On cold days, I would add ginger to heat things up a bit.

So I hope I can inspire you to try this sometime when you are in a rush.

Instead of grabbing something from a bag, container, box, or pre-cooked package, make yourself a “vegetable blender drink” that your body will love, and the best part, is feeling more energy and well-being for the rest of the day.

Why Natural Health-My Story

When I was younger, in my 20’s, I was partier. I liked to drink, smoke, dance and have fun. Then a few health challenges began to appear.

1. I was on “the birth control pill” and at my yearly check-up they found ‘cervical cancer’.

2. I started gaining weight, quite a bit of weight, and I was really tired, even needing naps after work.

3. Then, I started getting yeast infections.

I went to the Dr. for the first 2 symptoms, and followed through with their recommendations of “laser surgery” for the cancer, and thyroid medication for the weight gain and low energy. No other recommendations were given to me.

When the 3rd symptom appeared, I looked for other answers.

This time a girlfriend suggested a natural health product at a health food store. So off I went. I walked into a health food store, bought a bottle of the recommended product, and also came home with a book, “BEYOND BASIC HEALTH”, by Bernard Jensen.



Well, that book changed my life. It educated me that we “don’t just get cancer, or any other health challenges.” It informed me that our eyes have the answer’s to everything that is going on “inside our bodies”, health wise, and that with nutrition, herbs and natural ways, the “body will heal itself”! Whoa, that was a lot to take in.

I am a person of ACTION, so I looked in the yellow pages and found an Iridologist. I wanted to find out what my eyes had to say? I made an appt with her, and she had lots to say to me. Her first sentence was, “girl, you’ve been living life on the wild side”! (Yikes, she got that right).

She gave me many recommendations, nutritional, herbal, and more. I got started and re-gained my energy. Within 2 years I even quit smoking, stopped drinking by about 80%, and kept inching my way to vibrant health.

That was 15 years ago, and I have been a student of Natural Health ever since. I studied Iridology, Herbalism, Whole Food Nutrition, Vibrational medicine, Aromatherapy, Flower Essences, and many more.

I didn’t change all my bad habits over night. It has been a process, and bit by bit, I began to “un-do” the damage I did to my body. It is a journey, and it feels awesome to take control of my own health, and my family too.

When I learned about all of this, I made a wish. I wanted to move to the country, learn about natural health and raise a family in this type of environment. Within 4 months, that is exactly what happened. My husband was able to receive a transfer, I quit my job of 14 years and we moved to the country, 9 hours away and over 2 mountain passes.

Now I have been studying and practicing Natural Health for 15 years, and I can help you get clear on how you can “get started”. If you want to take control of your health, and RECLAIM your health, I am here to give you hope, guidance, inspiration, motivation, knowledge and understanding.

I have some amazing, results oriented information I am thrilled to share with you to-day.

In to-day’s fast pace lifestyle, we are aware of stress, and how it has a negative effect on our health, and we are so used to it, that we don’t even realize how much it is really affecting us.

How does this stress we experience on a daily basis affect our bodies, and the chemical balance in our brain?

We suffer with problems such as:

- poor memory,

- anxiety,

- mood swings

- feelings of sadness or depression,

- difficulty sleeping

- difficulty in “thinking positive”,

- hyperactivity in kids, and kids unable to focus or complete projects.

Can many of these struggles be contributed to a lack of nutrients?

More specifically a lack of “neurotransmitters” in the brain?

Scientific studies have shown that many problems such as stress, hyperactivity, and even alcoholism can be linked to an imbalance of chemicals in the brain.

It appears that shoulder pain and injuries are on the rise,

particularly for women over the age of 40.

This is a new area of discovery for me,

as I have recently injured my shoulder,
and not thinking there was much to worry about.

When I mentioned my injured shoulder to other women friends of mine,

I began to hear a common reply...

"get it checked by your Dr., and don't wait, because it can get worse".

Okay, so I did that, a few months ago...

and she said to do this one exercise, as I guess at that time, my injury wasn't too bad?

I also went to the chiropractor (NUCCA) method, and that helped alot,

it was possible to dance, and curl my hair, not too much discomfort.

Then last week I bumped my head on a newly placed "hanging flower basket",

so my "reaction was to protect my head",

and my arm reached quickly overhead...

and KA-BAM...intense pain followed.

Back to the Dr.,

who this time thought it may be a problem with the "rotator cuff",

so, off to the Physiotherapist to-day,

who was even less optimistic, after assessing me.

Appararently it appears that I have possibly damaged the cartilage that attaches to the

bone, called "labrum",

and it is difficult to heal, and may very possibly require surgery,

although all the information (x-rays), are not in yet.

I have a feeling my herbs aren't going to quite pull me out of this shoulder injury on their own.

So....how did this happen, and what's the message in it?

1. I have not been as active in the past 12 months....due to the fact that I have

been learning all of this "on-line" technology,

and totally forgot that I have been "sitting" 6 hours a day,

compared to when I "ran around working" 8 hours a day. (OOPS).

2. Then, when I moved back to the country, had my horse close by, and started

to "carry 10 lb. pails of feed" every day,

I didn't think about "building up" my strength first,

and then working "upto" the 10 lbs. in each arm bit by bit!

I just thought, oh good this should get me in shape...Ha!

There was also other insults to the shoulder, like a fall on that arm,

and trying to "train my dog to heal",... improperly, I might add.

3. Ignoring the small injury, thinking it would heal..... until it turned into a bigger injury.

So the moral of the story is,

if you are a women over the age of 40,

it is time to strengthen your shoulder muscles with the proper exercises at home,

and keep them toned and strong. (see a fitness instructor or videos on line).

If you have gone from a physical job,

farming or carrying children around,

and you change your daily work habits to a desk job of some kind,

you cannot just "pick up" where you left off.

(my girlfriend this past week had a similar experience,

she gardened and pulled all the muscles in her back,

she too went from a hard working physical job into a desk job,

and "didnt think twice about working in the garden...until the next morning when she felt the pain.).. OOPS again.

Our age and the depletion of the nutrients in our food supply also contribute to the cause of

these injuries.

We are not getting proper minerals and nutrients from the commercial food supply,

and it is taking a toll on our health in many ways, from children to ...women ove r 40.

Oh by the way,

to help with inflammation,

I am taking lots of plant enzymes,

and externally, I am using an essential oil blend I make which also helps.

Let's hope this serves as a reminder to us all,

and brings in the awareness that...as my girlfriend says....

our 30 year old mind,

does not think about our 50 year old bodies!

Now we will,

be pro-active, exercise and strengthen our bodies,

and reduce these type of injuries.

Aug. 24-2010 – Seasonal Healing…Fall is for Building up……a healthy immune system.

Living in the Creston Valley at this time of year is the ultimate experience of abundance.

This valley produces a variety of food

for us to consume and enjoy to increase our health and vitality.

Wherever you are living, look around and see what is growing near you,

and take action in collecting the “fresh stuff”.

I’d like to bring to your attention the two types of harvest::

- regular agriculture (that we actively choose to plant and harvest),

and,

- wildcrafted and grown by nature her self.

The harvesting of both these food groups,

play a key role in enhancing your health and well-being.

As you drive around the valley or out in the country at this time of year,

you will see an abundant of signs hanging in driveways and at the fruit stands displaying what is available to eat, fresh, and hot off the crops.

Look for “you pick” signs,

and bring your family for an experience that is “beyond” the food quality and nutrition.

Picking fruit in the country is “in and of itself”,

a health producing activity, that is fun for the whole family.

My son and I picked 10 lbs. of blueberries yesterday,

(sorry, I totally forgot to take a picture), but I may go back and shoot a video for you.:)

To-day I will discuss the regular grown foods that we like to plant and harvest,

and later in the week I will write about the wild, natural growing superfoods.

The food in abundance right now includes:

- cherries, peaches, apricots, plums, watermelons, muskmelons, grapes, and an excellent winter fruit…apples..

In the vegetable category the fall foods include:

- tomatoes, many varieties of squash, beets, carrots, turnips, rutabagas, zucchini, kohlrabi, garlic, onions, and the list goes on.

It is best to eat all of the above while it’s still fresh and raw.

There is more “life and vitality” when foods are picked and consumed right away.

They are filled with enzymes and nutrients only found in freshly harvested food,

so get your fill now while you can.

Many of the fall vegetables and fruits provide “building up’ of the immune system.

Beets for example are loaded with minerals, vitamin A, and build the blood significantly.

They eliminate acid waste in the bowels,

support and cleanse the liver and gallbladder as well as the digestive and lymphatic systems.

Grate them, juice them, steam them and enjoy their multiple health benefits.

Another favourite is spaghetti squash.

This squash will specifically nourish the elimination, digestion and nervous system.

I use spaghetti squash as a spaghetti.

SPAGHETTI SQUASH RECIPE:

1 Spaghetti squash

8 – 12 oz. tomatoes (fresh, blanched & peeled and blended for sause)

onions, garlic, green peppers, celery or anything else you like putting into your tomato sauce.

Cut the squash in half,

lay on a tray with water in the bottom, bake @ 350 F. approx. 45 minutes,

or until it is tender like a potato would be.

Scrape out the seeds, keep them to eat, they’re delicious.

Use a spaghetti utensil to scrape the spaghetti squash out of it’s shell.

Add a little butter or olive oil, your tomato sauce,

and VOILA, a gluten-free spaghetti.

Serve with a fresh salad and your set.

Delicious and Nutritious.

Remember, the nutrients we receive from foods affect our thoughts,

our flexiblity, our clarity of mind, and our passion for life.

NOW is the time to pick, eat and store the abundance of food available to you.

The 2 best ways to preserve your food is through drying and freezing.

This leaves the enzymes in tact, as compared to canning.

(I know canning is becoming more popular again, and it is definately better

to can your own food than buy it, but try to keep some for drying and freezing too.)

Root vegetables will store better during the winter,

so stock up on those as well.

Enjoy the abundance and notice the differance in your health.

This blog post is to give you a real live experience,

of how using natural ways can allow the body to heal itself,

when given the opportunity.

Last May I injured my shoulder and was in extreme pain.

The Doctor visit and the Physiotherapist visit suggested that I had a rotator cuff injury, possibly a tear, and it may require surgery because there also seemed to be damage to the cartilage.

(I can’t quite remember the exact name they used right now.)

Also my shoulder was “sublaxating”, which means a mild form of dislocation,

and the pain of this was horrible.

It took me a week to figure out what was going on,

and once I knew, I figured out how to “not” have it in sublaxation.

Here in Canada we have to wait for our ultra sound tests, anywhere from 2-4 months.

which seemed unbelievable at the time,

but inside I knew,

this would give me “time to support my body so it could heal itself”.

I say this to many clients who can’t get answers or get in for tests and such,

and so now,

it was time for me to listen to my own inner knowing.

I got going,

applied the natural and spiritual health knowledge,

and can happily report, I am on the mend.

This is huge,

no surgeries, no medications or cortisol shots,

and no hospitlization…yeah.

I simply took it one step at a time.

You cannot look too far in advance when you have alot of pain,

it’s a matter of trusting the process,

and being guided to each step along the way.

The positive side of this injury,

is I took this as an opportunity to cleanse my body of toxins,

better than ever.

Here is a list of practitioner’s, and health cleansing and building techniques

I used to repair my shoulder injury, and my body, mind and Spirit, as a whole.

- massage therapy – with a women who has “healing hands”..she was amazing,

and she also encouraged me “that I would heal”.

In the beginning of my injury, these were words of comfort and hope.

- acupuncture for the pain, and the acupuncturist just happened to be a physiotherapist

as well, again a women by chance, and she also was very, very awesome, and she

was also amazed at the speed of my recovery.

- water physio, this helped to give me more mobility, very helpful also.

All the while I put myself on a wide array of nutritional supplements:

- serrapeptase for inflammation,

- Recovery, White Oak Plus, for inflammation and repairing bone, muscle and cartilage.

Neurogenesis NeuBeCalmed & NeuReleive to assist in pain management.

Remember, at the beginning, I couldn’t even sleep through the night,

it took a few months to rebuild and reduce inflammation enough so I could sleep and be pain-free.

Oh, and I STOPPED DOING HOUSEWORK,

including dishes, vacuuming,

cooking, and cleaning bathrooms.

I learned quickly to listen to my body,

and STOP doing these things so it could repair and heal.

This is one of the hardest tasks at first,

(but after awhile…once the family stepped in and took over my jobs..

(along with a housecleaner now and then, it was kind of nice…LOL).

I then went the extra mile and also took the time and money to cleanse my body.

- Colonics – hydrotherapy colon cleansing.

- 7 day liver/gallbladder cleanse which removes gallstones from the gallbladder and liver.

- 7 Day Raw Food Challenge,

- Cranial Sacral therapy, reflexology, and bodytalk were other treatments I had.

- Foot bath and foot patch detoxes too.

You see, there is a combination of cleansing the body,

and increasing the nutrient value, which together,

allow your body to repair itself.

By the time I went for the ultrasound,

they couldn’t see anything, no tears, no damage.

My physiotherapist/acupuncturist looked at the results and said

my shoulder muscles and cartilage were really healthy.

The Dr. said she was surprised there were no tears,

and to come back if I had more trouble.

I can tell you that to-day I am so happy and grateful to be continueing the

healing process,

instead of dealing with a surgery and trying to recover from that.

Sometimes surgeries are necessary,

and sometimes, the extra time when used well,

can allow your body to “heal itself”.

My shoulder is not perfect yet,

but I can reach my head again,

and I can cook, do dishes and walk with my arms swinging loosely by my side.

So there you have it,

my journey with shoulder pain and how I recovered,

has been revealed.

I hope this gives you trust and hope and confidance to realize,

the body will heal itself, when given the chance.

I also realize that doing all of the above can look overwhelming,

that is why it’s important to take it one step at time,

and your healing journey could unfold quite differantly.

So stay inspired, postiive, and open to guidance,

both inner and outer, and watch as your path unfolds before you.

Time is moving along,

and we have less than 58 days left in this spectacular year 2010.

It has been a year of growth for me,
as well as a few health challenges along the way,
like my shoulder issues.

This year I attended BHW RISE,
and I Loved it,
there is "nothing" like being around so many
positiive, inspired women to warm a persons soul.

If you would like to end your year strong,
healthy and on track,
it's not too late.

Pull out your original health goals or intentions,
re-look at them,
remember why you want to achieve more health, more energy, and more fun,
and light the spark within you,
to take some small actions,
to-day.

Here are a few simpe health tips:

- start your day with water and some freshly squeezed lemon, your liver will thank-you.
- try adding hemp hearts to your salads or soup for an extra boost in protein, essential fatty acids, fiber and much more.

To-day is World Diabetes Day,
and diabetes is increasing by substantial rates.

The winter season is upon us,
and where I live the snow is falling and the blanket of white has arrived.

I love winter,
and for some reason it brings upon me
a feeling of quiet and peacefullness.

Although you may have an entirely differant experience, such as anxiety and stress, as many of you travel long distances to and from work, I understand snow is not always fun and games.
( I used to commute 2 hours to work too….really, I get it)

To-day I am nere to remind you to slow down for a moment, and become aware, and notice Mother Nature’s message to you.

Winter is a time of rest,
slowing down,
and for many,
heading south to warmer temperatures,
like many breeds of birds do,
and many seniors too!
(we call these seniors “snowbirds”).

For those of us who do not “fly south for the winter”, looking out your window you will see less activity.

There are less birds,
the bears are hibernating,
the trees are dormant,
and there is a “stillness” in the air.

One way to REDUCE THE STRESS AND ANXIETY of these Winter Wonderland days, is to slow down too.

Sometimes that may require re-thinking your many invitations and plans to travel here and there for one party or another, and instead, check inside and ask yourself and ask, “what do I really want or need”?

Is it rest, or more driving?

The word “NO” is sometimes difficult to say, and yet, sometimes it brings the peace and rest required during this winter season.

If you are used to being busy,
sitting still can be difficult,
so below I have some Healthy Movie suggestions for you.

Mix them in with your other seasonal movies, and inspire yourself on how you can Reclaim Your Health, Naturally.

A few movies you may want to watch are:

1. Sicko – found in your local video store.
2. Food Inc. – also found in your local video store.
These movies may not be suitable for very young children, check the movie ratings, and use your discretion.)
3. Pay it forward - at your local video store.

Two of these 3 movies are excellant in demonstrating what we “have not” been told,
and gives us clarity as to why your health seems to be deteriorating faster than you can acquire the knowledge on how to Reclaim It!
It also increases our awareness into how we can make better choices once we understand what has been happening to our food supply.

Winter is a great time to gather together and watch movies,
stay warm and relax.

A stye that won’t go away

If it doesn’t clear up in three months, or keeps recurring in the same location, it could be a rare cancer called sebaceous gland carcinoma.

Burning eyes, blurry vision while using a computer

This is the result of “computer vision syndrome” (CVS). The eyestrain is partly caused by the lack of contrast on a computer screen, and the extra work involved in focusing on pixels.

A small blind spot in your vision, with shimmering lights or a wavy line

A migraine aura produces this disturbed vision. It may or may not be accompanied by a headache.

Whites of the eye turned yellowish

This is known as jaundice. It appears in either newborns with immature liver function, or adults with problems of the liver, gallbladder, or bile ducts.

Eyes that seem to bulge

The most common cause of protruding eyes is hyperthyroidism, which is overactivity of the thyroid gland.

Your eyesight is one of your most precious senses but it’s easy to take the gift of sight for granted, until it starts to fail. Unfortunately, one of the leading causes of blindness in American adults is a side effect of diabetes. This is disconcerting when you consider that today, nearly 1 in 4 Americans are either pre-diabetic or diabetic.

The increased use of computers and video display terminals (VDTs) at home and work has also led to an increase in vision problems due to eye strain.

Is Poor Vision Inevitable as You Age?
No, it’s not.

But our modern lifestyles can contribute to poor vision if you’re not careful. Fortunately, there are many actions you can take to support your eye health. Studies show people over age 60 may need even more support in the form of well-chosen nutritional supplements. You may also need additional vision support if:


You smoke

Below, I’ll review a number of protective strategies, including nutritional support, but first, can your eyes really tell you something about your overall state of health?

Iridology—Your Eyes as the Mirrors of Your Health?
The Yahoo Health article above brings up several interesting correlations between your eyes and your overall health by hinting at potential underlying health problems. Iridology, or iridodiagnosis, which is the study of the iris of your eye, is yet another technique in that same vein, used by some alternative health practitioners.

This theory goes back to the mid-17th Century, but iridology has yet to be recognized by mainstream medicine. In fact, the majority of medical professionals scoff at the idea.

The basic theory behind this technique is that various characteristics, such as patterns and colors, in specific zones of your iris can provide information about your systemic health. This is done by carefully examining your iris and matching it to iris charts. Using these charts, an iridologist can help identify systems and organs in your body that may be inflamed, or over- or underactive. It cannot, however, diagnose specific diseases—all it can do, at best, is give an indication of your systemic strengths or weaknesses.

Still, this information may be helpful under some circumstances.

Keep in mind however, that iridology practitioners are not legally required to be licensed or certified in the US or Canada, so if you decide to give it a try, I’d recommend you locate an iridologist who is also a licensed medical practitioner.

First of all I am so grateful Dr. Mercola has given

Iridology the lime light of his article to-day, and Yahoo Health too.

Being an Iridologist for over 10 years,

I am still amazed at it’s amazing benefits in improving health naturally,

and also I am just as amazed at how the benefits of this Science of Iridology is under valued and under used in our society.

Education + Action is the key to Transformation.

These 2 articles by Yahoo Health and Dr. Mercola are excellant in bringing to light the awareness of how valueable your eyes are,

and the amazing answers they have for you, just waiting to be discovered.

I feel inspired to comment on the 2 comments by Dr. Mercola.

1. Iridology cannot diagnose disease- and then he recommends,

2. You find an Iridologist who is a Medical Practitioner.

First of all, Iridology indeed does not diagnose disease.

In summary, Iridology is the Science of analyzing the iris of the eye and can show:

- inherant weaknesses

- inflammation

-toxic settlements

- body constitution.

These answers found within your eyes are designed to guide you in a pro-active way of improving your health, by replenishing the nutrients that are deficient, and cleansing out the toxins so your body can “repair and heal itself”.

The most important key here is that which Dr. Bernard Jensen

the Father of Iridology taught us which is:

“Nutrition is the the Twin to Iridology”.

All of the Iridologists I know are educated deeply in the field of “natural health”,

including herbalsim,

whole food nutrition,

cleansing,

fitness, and more.

Therefore my suggestion for anyone looking for an Iridologist

would be to ask the Iridologist questions about their training in these

natural health practices.

Iridology is all about healing with nature. When looking for any health

practitioner, it is also important to ask yourself how you “feel” with

that person, and do you feel you can “trust” them. Only you can

be the judge of who you want to partner with, in creating vibrant health.

Naturopathic Dr.’s often use Iridology, and Iridology is simply

a way to see into the body, and find out what is going on in there,

that is specific to YOU.

The real Art of Iridology come in translating that information,

understanding nature and it’s relation to the human body,

and also partnering with the client and understanding

their specific needs and circumstances.

Therefore if you cannot find a Medical practitioner who

uses Iridology,

do not be afraid to seek and find a qualified,

heart-centered, passionate and educated

Iridologist. There are many professional Iridologists

to choose from all over the world,

and you’ll know after spending one or two hours with an Iridologist,

whether this form of guidance is right for you,

and, if this specific Iridologist is right for you.

After all, we are all simply individuals and we resonate and

connect with people and health practitioners on an individual level.

I became an Herbalist first, and then an Iridologist.

Herbalism and Whole Food Nutrition takes time to learn,

while Iridology is actually quite easy,

simply like reading a map.

There is a saying that goes like this:

Trust in the Power that Created you!

To-day’s topic is going to blend the Heaven and Earth, Spiritual and Physical elements, because the time is now for the Shifting into a new gear, a new reality.

In an earlier blog post,
I discussed how Mother Earth was
actually ME. (you, us).

We are intricately connected,
and it would benefit all of us to keep this in the forefront of our minds.
Planet Earth is a reflection of us, and we are a reflection of her. If you didn’t have a chance to read that article, or you’ve forgotten, here is an excerpt:

“NOW is the time for us to really appreciate the
abundance that Mother Earth provides for us.

Without the air, water, food and all of her plants and animals,
we the human race could not survive.

For your health sake,
it is time to remember,
that everything you put into the water,
into the air,
and onto the earth,
including pesticides, herbicides,
and artificial fertilizers,
you are putting INTO YOU.”

Exactly 2 months after I wrote the above article on Mother Nature
and you, Japan experienced the earthquake, tsunami,
and all the after effects of the disaster.

Please, before you feel despair, hopelessness or fear,
I encourage you to instead, look for hope, faith, and also
TRUST IN THE POWER of Love.

There has been many stories coming from Japan,
of how everyone is helping each other out,
giving water if they have water,
and sharing the resources they have.

There are 2 sides to every coin,
and we can choose to look at, or feel, one side or the other.

For example, we can choose:
Fear or Love,
Despair or Joy,
Hope or Hopelessness.
We are being called to remember who we really are.

Remember your passion for life,
remember your purpose in life,
remember to feel the good feelings like joy and happiness too.

When Mother Earth shakes and quakes,
is it a call for us to Remember our Soul,
our Light within us,
and also the Divine Source of all good things?

We cannot ignore the calling anymore.

What if you could dig deep and be inspired?

What if you found a passion within you that you had completely forgotten?

What if you feel that inner YES,
I CAN be the change in the world,
right now, starting to-day?

How does that feel?

You can make a difference, when you say YES,
and follow your passion,
open your heart, call on your Divine Guidance.

It is time to nurture, respect and honor Mother Earth and ALL of her inhabitants.

The plants, the original plants known as weeds,
are here to strengthen you,
right now in this time of the vibrational shift, here on earth.

We don’t need anymore chemicals,
we simply need to re-connect,
with Earth Energy,
with Divine Energy,
and with each other.

Are you upto the challenge?

Are YOU BEING shaken on the inside too?

If you are a mother, remember the process of pregnancy and birth?

At first it’s exciting and new,
and then as you grow so big you can’t tie your shoes,
you can’t sleep comfortably, and the whole process becomes UNCOMFORTABLE?

At this point, there is no turning back, right?
What did you call upon then, in those last moments of pregnancy, just before the new experience of “ giving birth” took place?

Did you Trust the Process?

It seems this may be a great example of what we are all being asked to do now.
To Trust in the Process.
Yes we are uncomfortable seeing the world shift around us,
yes we may feel powerless,
but we are NOT powerless.

We are powerful co-creators,
and just like delivering a baby,
we need to have faith, get prepared, stay positive,
and TRUST IN THE POWER OF YOU, and YOUR SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE.

Ask for help, and be open to receive.

After asking for help,
remember to slow down long enough to “hear the answer”,
and then take action on that inner knowing.

Miracles are alive and well to-day.

On the last blog post I wrote about- Giving and Receiving & what comes easily for you. I went into looking at how do we receive as a society, and what is receiving anyway.

To-day we are going to look at how to receive in a way that nourishes ourselves, and the giver too.!
( If you didn’t see the first post, you may want to go back and read it.)

To-day we are going to look at:
- how do we receive,
- and, is it a gift to the giver, when we are able to “take in and really receive” their gift within us.

Now this has come to me as an inner “AHA” moment,
and I can see as a society we have focused on giving, without realizing we left the benefits of actually receiving something and “taking it in….into our beings”.

To bring the gift, compliment, or offer to be helped, within us, it requires that we actually fee, the good feeling of receiving, in our bodies.

We have been taught to say “thank-you” immediately following a compliment, which is in a way, giving back to the person right away, before you could even take the time to feel what they just gave you.

Now this is a fairly new concept for me,
and it has been modeled by Ellie Drake, Jim Verghis, and a few others I have met and worked with lately.

How do you/we receive?

Here is an example.
1. When someone offers to pay for your lunch, you can simply be still for a few moments, and feel the gift you have just been given, within you. Allow yourself to take it in. Breathing in at this moment can help you receive it into your body also. That’s it, receiving is “taking it within”,
and then you can offer your verbal “thank-you”.

This taking it in, nourishes ourselves by filling us up with gratitude and appreciation, and, it also fills up the giver,
because they can see and feel you being nourished by their gift.

Sometimes if you are a a giver, it can be somewhat difficult to
simply receive- and to take in the feeling.

You see, if you are used to giving 10x more than you receive, and you are always needing to give more than you receive, then it’s possible that you haven’t really “taken in” the gift from “the giver”.

Let me say that another way.

Next time someone is giving something to you,
see if you actually “take it in”, or do you immediately think of
how you can do something to give back to them?
This can be an automatic habit, such as saying thank-you immediately, is a habit we have created, and we call it having manners.

If you give me a horse, (yes, I always dream of having another horse....ha-ha), I can immediately say thank-you to receive your gift.
The other way to receive your gift, is I will first take in the feeling of joy, feel it within me, because I love receiving a horse. Once I have received the feeling in my body, I can express this feeling by saying:
“whenever I am given a horse, I feel freedom and joy just pour out of me, because I just love horses of all kinds, thank-you.”

Now when I express how I am feeling about receiving the gift,
I am really receiving the gift, because I can feel the joy and freedom within my body in that moment.

Perhaps it is our rush, rush way of living that has reduced our ability to “receive”, or our beliefs that it is better to be a giver.

Well, here we are...living through the great year of 2012!

Many, many people are searching for more energy, more hope,

and an understanding of what is going on in their bodies, minds and souls as they are feeling this shift from within.

If you are feeling super tired or drained, and you don't really know why,

I encourage you to listen very closely to your body.

We can increase our energy reserves and work toward feeling energetic, enthusiastic,

postive, hopeful and all of the good things,

and, we must also learn to rest, relax, re-juvenate and restore our energy reserves.

2012 is a year of monumental importance. The earth IS shifting her vibration,

and we are also shifting our physical bodies into a higher vibrationg of Light.

This is what requires extra energy....and this is why you may be "feeling more tired".

Please do not judge yourSelf as wrong, lazy, or tired for no reason.
You can get a physical check up from the Dr., and if the results are "all good",

then it is wise for you to understand,

you are going through a physical and Spiritual shift in Consciousness,

which includes your physical body.

This year time is speeding up, which means you will need to SLOW DOWN.

It will greatly benefit you to take on less projects and commitment, not more.

If you are not healthy and strong, you will not be here to serve others and give to others.

You must first give to yourSelf. Not in a selfish way, in a loving way.

If your body is tired, sleep in the afternoon.

Two days ago I participated in some high frequency meditations,

and the following days I felt exhausted. I simply listened to my body,

and rested, slept in the afternoon, and allowed mySelf some down time.

I am fortunate because I have been guided and trained to listen to my body,

and I have learned not to "over schedule" my time.

This is the New Energy of 2012,

it is real,

and it is your responsibiity to listen to your body,

your intuition,

and follow your inner knowing.

When ytou stop being a victim,

and love yourSelf enough to stop and smell the roses,

your body will re-calibrate, and you will be Re-Energized.

Know you can do this,

the time is Now,

Be with yourSelf in Joy and Peace,

and allow your body to heal itSelf.

I hope this inspires you...to Be You, to rest when you need rest,

and to give to others, when you have the extra energy WithIn You, to give.

Remember, we cannot give, what we do not have Inside.

It's the week-end, did you schedule your rest time?

Book yourself in now, a massage, a sleep, a bath...

what is it YOU need now, to Restore Your Energy, from Within.
