See Ellie Drake's blog: "The inside scoop on my interview with Mariel Hemmingway... ". I posted a comment there - Ellie's reply: "What a good point you make about creating for a higher purpose vs. creating for personal power. I'd be interested to have you explain the differences and/or the similarities between personal power and soul power a bit more... ".

Personal power is developed by utilizing our body and mind and is therefore limited. The mind may have a goal, but the goal must be fulfilled externally. Our personal powers are nurtured in an outer way. Messages from the mind are most often initiated by the ego and bring question and doubt.

Soul power goes beyond the limits of time and space and therefore is unlimited. Each soul has a special mission and is aware of what that mission is. We fulfill that mission internally. Our soul power is best nurtured in an inner way.
Messages from the Soul are from our connection with our Source and bring tremendous conviction, regardless of the outcome.

Being mindful is limited to the intellect. Being soulful is with heartfelt feeling. Even the Law of Attraction suggests that even more important than thinking (mind) we must feel (heart/soul) to bring about that which we desire.

We all need and have personal power; however, those who aspire to tap into their soul power will generally find more ease in creating, will exhibit more genuine love for self and others and will be serving the greater good of all in a more heart-felt and Soul-Full way.

Have a Soul-Full Day! :-x

Dear aspiring Soul-Power Friends,

We have all had experiences of tapping into our soul power: :) when we perform beyond our usual standard; when we experience heart-felt joy; when we have an extraordinary burst of creative energy.

One of the most common blocks to tapping into our soul power is 'attachment'. What do we mean by this?

Because the body-mind has limitations, it can be attached, for example, to things, situations, another person, outer pleasures, pre-conceived notions of how things should be and the status-quo. This attachment tends to bind us to our current 'reality' and often ends in frustration.

Because the soul is unlimited, it wants to free us from our bondage to attachment, therefore the soul practices 'detachment'. Detachment allows us to more easily experience real freedom and inner joy.

By detachment, we are not speaking of indifference or neglect. We are speaking of not being attached to the results of our efforts. We do our best and let go of the rest.

We tend to live only for the fulfillment of the needs of our body-mind and forget the needs of our soul. The soul, like any other part of our being, needs to be nurtured and cared for. We feed our body-mind three or more times a day. How many times a day do we feed the soul? Not even once in many cases.

So in order to overcome blocks to tapping into your soul power, let go of your binding attachments, one at a time. Feed your soul in your own way by spending time alone and in silence.

Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to earn more income? Do you want to contribute more to humanity? Think of 1 or 2 reasons why you might secretly want to stay exactly where you are. Is it more comfortable? Is this place your total identification? Do you fear competition? Are you not interested in listening to your higher self?

Join my Soul-Power Community! As soon as we get enough members, we will begin doing short empowering exercises that will help us to live more easily and more often in our soul power!

Hi BraveHearts!
Arrived at the airport yesterday morning in New York at 6am for my flight to Durango, Colorado, for Dr. Sugar's Women's Retreat. I was expecting to be picked up by a car service in Durango to be taken to my hotel - nothing more, as I was arriving a day early.

The aircraft I was to fly on had problems, was delayed two hours so I had to phone Lisa, Dr. Sugar's Assistant, and ask her to call the car service to pick me up two hours later.

Lisa said, "It's not a problem. I am the one who will pick you up."
Lisa selflessly drove over 30 miles from her home in New Mexico to pick me up at the airport in Colorado and take me to the hotel, leaving only after making sure I was settled. In order to accommodate me, Lisa's whole afternoon was 'booked' because of the flight delay.

While we were driving, Lisa connected me to Dr. Sugar on the phone. Dr. Sugar welcomed me warmly to her Retreat - even though she was still doing her rounds at the hospital!

Now this kind of service is unheard of, especially in the New York area, where people are always in a hurry and generally do only the needful, seldom more.

So yes, I am singing the praises of two of our BraveHeart sisters - Lisa and Dr. Sugar. This is what our world is moving toward - total self-giving and oneness with all.

Lisa and Dr. Sugar, please feel my heartfelt gratitude!
Love the way you are both manifesting your beautiful soul power! :-x

All Gratitude!

As I stood looking out the window of our beautiful estate in the mountains of Colorado, the snow was falling in huge fluffy flakes, creating a magical winter wonderland for our Women's Retreat.

Besides having a birthday on the 13th of September, 13 has been a significant and lucky number for me. Last weekend thirteen amazing women gathered for three days of intensive focus on clearing emotional blockages that have prevented us from going forward in our lives, and on empowering exercises designed to help us step into our own power.

Dr. Sugar's Women's Retreat is a must for all BraveHeart women. Her three-day program was a dynamic, moving and transformational experience for every single woman present.

Dr. Sugar has incredible dynamic energy and total focus on providing the best possible safe haven that allowed each women to open to her own vulnerability. Dr. Sugar's loving kindness and oneness was intensely present as we transitioned from 'stuck' to new freedom and empowerment. Her service spoke volumes about her heart's magnanimity.

Tears flowed, hearts opened, faces lit up and new lifelong friends were made. Thank you Dr. Sugar and thank you to each woman present for all that you offered and all that you are. :-x

Personally, I feel new freedom, clarity and immediacy to go forward with my passion - helping women to access and manifest their Soul-Power!

I invite each of the amazing women who attended the Retreat to respond to this blog by writing a short paragraph about her experience during the weekend.

Dr. Sugar will hold another Retreat in a couple of months and I encourage anyone who is inspired to make plans to attend. You will definitely experience a NEW YOU!

Hello Dear Friends,

Synchronicities, or meaningful coincidences, occur quite often in everyone's life. If we are not looking for them, we may not see them or be aware of them.

In my view, it may help to be aware of them because so often there is a reason why the synchronicity occurred in the first place. My experience on my way home from Colorado to New York last Monday is just such an example.

My original flight was to depart Durango, Colorado, at 10:15am. I arrived at the airport very early because I was able to get a ride with someone who had an early departure.

Fortunately, I was able to go standby on the earlier flight so I boarded very happily. :) If I could be as lucky on the flight from Denver to New York, then I would be home a couple of hours early!

Once comfortably seated, I heard the captain's voice. Because of ice on the runway, the plane was 320 pounds too heavy and three people would have to get off. Two others got off before me (a stewardess and someone else with the airlines). I also had to get off because I was flying standby. :(

Just as I arrived at the front of the plane, the stewardess said, 'OK, you can stay!' (apparently I was meant to be on the plane!) :-D

I sat in the extreme back seat next to a girl. It turned out that she missed her earlier flight and had to go on the flight I was on. Here were two people whose paths had crossed due to unique circumstances. We were both grateful for the meet-up!

The girl and I began to talk and found that we had mutual interests and would be able to contribute to each other in several ways. Long story made short, her boyfriend can use my coaching services and she is interested to be certified as a coach herself. She was also very interested in Dr. Sugar's Retreat for Couples.

Synchronicities are fun, interesting and helpful. A quick example: My friend brought a car to me to see if I was interested in buying it. I liked the car very much and told him I would let him know the following day. That evening as I sat down to dinner and was looking out my window, I saw a skywriter plane fly by writing the words, "BUY BUICK".

Needless to say, the car my friend brought was a Buick. I called him immediately and told him I would buy it.

Do you have any synchronicities that are remarkable or interesting? I would love to hear about them!

Enjoy a synchronistic day!

We know that Valentine's Day is all about love but do we feel that love? How can we magnify our love power?

When we think about love we are using the mind. We we are feeling the love, we are using our heart. :-x

How often do we say, "I love you" to our loved ones? How do they react? Or do they mindlessly say, "I love you too".

For the next two days I suggest that if and when we have an occasion to say "I love you" that we say it with feeling, allowing the feeling to begin in our loving and sacred hearts and flowing like soothing molten liquid into the heart(s) of our beloveds.

Experiment in your own privacy with how you say these three little words. It is not necessary to exhibit great depth of emotion all of the time, but for today and tomorrow, it would be very appropriate to really allow not only yourself, but others in your love-circle to really feel the love. Watch it manifest as they smile or touch you in return. Feel the afterglow in your own heart.

Remember, You Are Love!
I love you,
Rijuta Tooker

Happy Valentine's Day! :-x

Celebrate today! Especially since all of the warm, fuzzy, loving feelings that are in the air tend to spread out and bump into everyone. I don't mind getting some on me!

Every day that comes along is reason to celebrate! For those who may feel that today is not a special day for them, I encourage you to celebrate anyway.

Do something special that gives you joy so you can mark the occasion in some way. Try to do this 'something' with another person so we can get more of those 'love vibes' going on this planet! Even if it's just smiling at the person behind the counter at your local store! :-D Or, smile at yourself in the mirror!

It's fun to see/feel hearts opening! See how many hearts you can open today. Ready? Begin!

Have a BraveHeart Opening Day!

Hello BraveHeart Sisters,

Have you heard that we have entered a time within which will dawn a global community? :O

Apparently it will take some time. But the exciting part is that we - that's right, you and I - will have an opportunity to be at the forefront of the change through our BraveHeart Women's Global Community!

How?
- By taking inner and outer action with a sense of joy and service;
- By letting go of our puny ego and our big fear;
- By empowering ourselves with our heart, our love and our truth;
- By moving away from all forms of darkness and moving toward all forms of light;
- And by feeling a sense of gratitude, oneness and our own soul-power!

It is time to be courageous, to walk our talk and not to let our dreams fade.

Let us remember to live as if our Global Community has already dawned, as if love is more predominant than fear, as if abundance for all is the law of the land. We can do it - one day at a time!

What action have you taken today?

Lindsay Wagner is far removed from the roles she is known for.
She is what she teaches: 'Quiet the mind and open the heart,' and that is what we are all about as BraveHeart Women.

In Lindsay's interview with Ellie she spoke about 'transcending one's current consciousness'. She illustrated to Ellie, using muscle testing, that we are indeed stronger when our energies are about love, compassion and inclusiveness.

Lindsay also illustrated that we weaken ourselves, our emotional stability and immune system when our energies are about resentment, arrogance and self-righteousness.

This interview is worth watching, in my opinion, more than once.

Such fascinating questions Ellie asks. And, fascinating answers.
Once of my favorites!

JOY is one of our greatest soul-powers! :) :-x :-D

JOY is a much stronger feeling/emotion than happiness. Happiness is, according to the dictionary, 'great pleasure; contentment.' We all need and want to be happy; however, let us take our happiness to the next level - that of JOY.

JOY is 'great elation; to rejoice'; to feel the whole inner being dancing with JOY. Look at a child enthusiastically expressing JOY! Pure delight!

Keep your Heart-Door open. Comfort and pleasure may be found in the mind, but never joy. JOY is felt and experienced in the heart and soul. Access your JOY today and experience one of the most delightful powers of your soul!

All JOY to you today and every day.

Dear BraveHeart Friends, When I saw this YouTube video this morning, I felt that we as BraveHearts could also feel that we are a spiritual networking group - not religious, but spiritual. New York firefighters, during 9/11, tapped into untold strength and power as they faced the worst crisis in the history of the city and of the nation.

While white water rafting, a family with four children crashed into a rock knocking the father into the rapids. In crisis mode, the wife grabbed her husband's arm and flung him back into the raft - unimaginable strength and power!

My cousin and her husband were in a serious automobile accident. In horror, finding my cousin pinned under the car, her husband immediately tilted the car up and was able to free her - amazing strength and power!

Where does this incredible strength and power come from? Our physical strength is magnified when our body, vital, mind, heart and soul call intensely on our inner power. This power comes from an inner and higher Source, our Soul-Power.

We can learn to tap into our inner and outer resources on a daily basis. How? When we set an intention, we do so with intensive one-pointedness and focus. We feel and know that what we intend is happening right now in the moment. We then release all attachment to the outcome and allow the Universe to provide.

Over simplified, but effective, as we have learned from many of our mentors. But like any muscle, we must practice the process and slowly but surely develop our manifesting capacity, our soul power.

Feel free to share a time when you have had to tap into your own unimaginable strength and power!
In admiration for the awesome strength and power of each BraveHeart Woman!

When you were a child, did you believe in magic? Special happenings that were mysterious or inexplicable?

Did you enjoy watching magicians who performed tricks that were extraordinary and perhaps even baffling?

Why was Harry Potter so successful? Why were Houdini and David Copperfield so well known? Adults and especially children love the surprise and delight of magic.

What I am suggesting is that we continue to live in the magic of the moment. Yes, magic is alive, but only for those who have the eyes to see it, feel it and know it.

Magic lives in light and higher vibration, higher consciousness. Is it not worthy to aspire to the wonder of all things?

Believe in that which is not seen but can be felt in the heart. We as adults grow old too fast and leave our child within starving and cold.

Instead, let us foster the budding and creative soul force within us. We too, can again experience the magic of life! ;)

Enjoy a magical day!
