Since RISE, I have been experiencing this amazing continuous flow of opportunities. It feels as if the clarity I received has opened up a flood gate of good ~ mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Yet, in the midst of all this good I'm experiencing, I had a hug realization a few days ago.
You see, as excited as I am that things are "finally" happening, I noticed that I was saying yes to everything and with that has come some physical challenges. My sleep has changed. I feel less rested and/or refreshed in the morning. I have less energy and my mind is spinning.
While waiting for a client, my spirit gently reminded me that as right and wonderful all these opportunities are,
sometimes the right thing isn't always right. This made me stop, breath, and re-evaluate what I was allowing myself to focus on. That said, I decided to listen to my spirit and only focus on those things that supports my authentic truth, passion and goals. Ahhh! Instant release.
We all know that when we lack true intention, we stray without meaning and direction. However, with true intention, a release takes place and we realign ourselves with our purpose, God and the Universe.
As 2009 comes to a close and 2010 begins to lark around the corner, what are you setting your intentions toward?
I recently heard someone say, "Resolutions are all about will power, but intentions, although they may definitely involve your will, is more about bring your whole self into what you're doing and creating." WOW! I like that!
Here are a few suggestions in preparing your intentions:
Quiet Please - Create a quiet space where you can still your mind and soul and allow yourself to focus in on your life and all the possibilities for 2010.
Identify Meaningful Intentions - During your quiet time, think about those things that make you happy, feel fulfilled, create meaning and passion in your life and then, follow gently but purposefully toward it. Be sure to write them down and review them often.
See The Future - Create or update your vision board. Keep a visual depiction of your intentions and place it somewhere you'll connect to it regularly. This action creates momentum.
Be Reminded - I have always been a visual person. I am moved powerfully by my senses. Whether at home or at work, have little reminders everywhere that will help you remember what you're doing and where you're going.
And finally,
When your whole self is aligned with your true intention, the most amazing things can unfold.
Live Outrageously Well and On Purpose!
