As we move into the 'Metal' element we look at the 'Lungs' first. Grief and co-dependence are the weak aspect here, whereas we want to work things out for ourselves and be independent. To become independent I would detach from the nipples in my life. Stop rescuing others. Learn to hold onto positive emotions, breath them in deeply. Give yourself some space, are the walls in your house full of pictures? I would clear a wall or two. Allow yourself room to breath, that means getting outdoors, and create space within, through meditation! The lungs are connected internally to the colon by the skin!

The colon is the next organ which wants to grow from burdens and adversity. Stop the gunner's (an Australian term for I'm going to do this) and let your ideas take form. Let go of past regrets, hurts and anything negative. Put your head down, focus and just do it! If you have stagnated, the colon will become frustrated (constipation). If you let go too quickly it becomes diahhorea. How long do you take to get over things? How quickly do you address issues? Clean up any mess you made and stop quitting!

The Illeocaecal Valve; is being controlled or forced and not being in control or 'out or control'. It's a 'control freak' or one who takes 'no control' over yourself? Focus and take control in this 'metal' element. It is about 'being' in control, a 'control breakthrough'!! To physically release this valve, lie down and If you span your right hand, thumb to little finger and find the mid point between your naval and hip, then use all fingers to press down to release the valve! Let go of control! You will know when you have found it because it hurts slightly!

The last 'metal' organ is our skin it is our largest organ and it is about 'covering' things up, hiding and being sensitive. Waste will often be forced out through our skin, causing pimples etc. If you cover up your feelings they will find their way out through our skin, through rashes or eczema Go deep and let those emotions come out, talk to a friend. It is our ability to relate well with others. Learn to balance between self protection and sensitivity. We may need to be tough at times to get things done, rather than allowing our sensitive side run the show!!

Some of the positive emotions in the 'metal' element are certain, structured, organized, supported, determined, prepared and committed. Be productive in you day and just do it!

What is important to you?

How may I help?
