Web headlines are the first and likely ONLY or MAJOR reason people will open and read your blog post, article, or news item on the internet.

Search engines rank your web blog posts and articles based on the keywords in your headlines and also other things.

I purposely omitted discussion of web headlines from my earlier post on “Writing Blogs and Articles in 5 Quick Steps.” Headlines deserve undivided attention because of their importance to getting your desired results.

My research on web headlines revealed that an encyclopedia of information is available. I found a blog post that I believe will make web headline creation much more easy and effective for you right now.

Read and think through all the points in ”Headlines That Pull, Persuade and Propel!” By Michel Fortin.

I have always found creating web headlines to be a challenge. My thoughts: Are the words attractive, enticing, compelling? Or are they dull, misleading, or just plain ‘ordinary’?

If you find yourself having these questions and feel you’re spending too much time on developing a web headline, here are 3 FREE headline creating internet tools. At a minimum, they will give you new ideas and thoughts to craft and re-shape a web headline for your articles and blog posts.

Free Web Headline Internet Tools

http://hughestech.com/headline-magician/headlines.php I use this one.
http://www.internetmarketingcourse.com/freeheadlinegenerator/
http://freeheadlinegenerator.com/index.php

These free internet tools will leverage your time and effort to develop web headlines that will attract more readers who will open and read your blogs and articles.

Content for Web Blogs and Articles

Remember, the first impression on the internet is lasting. The best impressions are formed with a compelling web headline and reinforced by the valuable content presented in the body of the blog and article.

Refer to previous blog, “How to Write Blogs and Articles Quickly Using These 5 Steps.”

Write your next web headline and article or blog post using this information and web tools shown here. Then let me know how the writing task went for you. Your responses will assist others to become better writers, to enjoy writing and to get better results for their business.

Spring is here. We have only a couple weeks to develop our plan to blossom. It’s time to sprout and grow into an abundant bud that will produce vibrant, brilliant flowers shortly. Those colorful, live flowers should stay with us in the spring, all of summer and beyond.

appleblossoms.jpg

Let's bud, blossom, and become a vibrant flower.

** personally showing your true, vivid, brilliant colors of your personality, your attitude, belief in abundance coming to you in all ways, and living a life of joy, fun and success.

** in physical health, taking part in exercise and fun activities, excursions and travels on our wondrous planet.

** in thought, mind and spirit, expressing an attitude of inner peace and calm, in control of your thoughts and feelings that lead everyone who comes in contact with you to see you as a light ray of hope, inspiration, and success that transcends to them too.

** in our online or offline business for wealth that provides us with all the resources required to live a life of purpose, passion, joy and happiness, with time to spend with those we love and to engage in the wondrous adventures of the journey of life.

When we blossom, we help other people bud, blossom, become flowers in energy, passion, love and success.

This is my plan for the year. I invite you to join me to spring into action NOW.

Each of us has a unique, internal blossom to develop and grow into a beautiful, vibrant flower - to make our country and the world a better place! For a L-O-N-G time!

Do you have many windows open and want to go back to desktop to access another program icon? One by one, I used to close all the windows, wasting time.

Just learned shortcut:

In a blank space on bottom toolbar, right click. Menu has several items. Click the one that says, "Show the Desktop". It takes you right to the desktop while leaving all the other windows open.

Convenient and easy. Have Fun!

With all the writing we are doing now and intend to increase, let’s make our work quick and easy.

How many times do you want to minimize all the windows you have open?

OR

Do you want to open all the windows that you pulled up but have minimized?

Internet Tip #2

To Minimize all the windows you have opened:
Press the Windows Key + M simultaneously (No need to use capital M)
This exposes the desktop, a side benefit.

Internet Tip #3

To Open all the windows you pulled up that are not minimized:
Press the Windows Key + Shift Key + M simultaneously
This is especially helpful when you have large files that open a somewhat slowly.

Enjoy and have fun writing.

Did you notice the blog scheduler available to us in BraveHeartWomen?

At bottom of page where you post a blog, you can schedule a date and time to have that blog be posted and viewable by the public.

It's so easy and helps us write and post at times that are convenient. We can write several blogs at one time, and schedule the day and time they will post.

This feature is also available in NetWebMarketer.

Make today a great day.

Here’s what I learned from my experience this week. Hopefully my story and tips will help you become more aware and more astute in protecting yourself from unauthorized charges to your credit card or checking accounts from the internet.

Nearly $600 hit my business checking account as an ‘immediate transfer charge’ from internet Merchant Account, i.e., Paypal. It could be one of many internet services where we have an account.

I received letter from bank saying I need to add cash to my checking account to cover that transfer charge, which was denied because of insufficient funds in my account.

I knew I did not purchase anything that large recently. I contacted the Merchant Account and they had already put a ‘hold’ on my account as they recognized this as an unusual charge. The hold would prevent additional transactions to the account in the future. (Don’t assume that all merchant account companies will do this, because they don’t.)

But the existing unauthorized fraudulent transaction would be presented again to my checking account until a letter of denial was received from my bank or there was sufficient funds in the account again. Wow, that’s dangerous because I fund that account when I pay my monthly bills! So at some point, there could be cash enough to cover the charges!

I was lucky this time because my account had minimal balance right now.

The error correction process is circular making it difficult to make changes, reverse errors, and protect your cash. Technology is not as flexible as a real person.

Six Tips to Protect Yourself From Fraudulent Online Purchases
This is general information, and is not intended to be a comprehensive list. But these tips will give you a good head start on staving off fraudulent online purchases.

Tip 1: Only buy goods from secure websites you know and trust. Secure website addresses start with https and may use a security system such as Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode security for online payments.

Tip 2: Credit cards are by far the safest way to pay online, according to the National Consumers League. That's because your liability is limited to $50 under the Fair Credit Billing Act.

Many credit-card companies have $0 liability policies. This means you won't be held accountable for any fraudulent purchases.

However, read the fine print. MasterCard has zero liability policy good only for U.S. issued cards. And you are limited to one purchase in last 12 months, plus your account must be in good standing.

Tip 3: Look for time limits on filing a claim. Some companies require a claim must be filed within 30 days of the fraud.

Tip 4: Never click on links or attachments in emails unless you are 100% sure that the email is legitimate. Protect yourself by always typing in the address of your bank or online shopping site yourself, rather than by following links.

Tip 5: Debit card payments have limitations. Your liability limit under federal law increases the longer you wait to report any unauthorized activity. If you report it within two days, your liability is capped at $50. Wait longer than two days, though, and it skyrockets to $500.

And if you don't report the unauthorized debit transaction within 60 days, you could be liable for the full amount -- even if it exceeds $500, says the Federal Trade Commission

Tip 6: Review the charges to your bank and credit card accounts regularly, at least weekly. I’ve always done this and have caught several errors. These days I think this kind of review is more important than ever before.

Have a happy day and keep your cash safe.

What is authenticity?
It’s being real, genuine, legitimate and truthful. Authenticity gives us a warm and fuzzy feeling of comfort, trust, credibility.
I think Leland R. Beaumont offers a complete, understandable description of the ‘authentic self’: “The true you; aligned and congruent self image, stature, values, beliefs, goals, behavior, word, and public image.”

Why do we value the principle of authenticity?

Authenticity builds an emotional connection between people as well as things like businesses, brands and almost everything.

Where does authenticity come from?

1. Authenticity comes from a place we can connect with," a place with a real story of a purpose-driven life, that touches us and that we always remember.”

Captain Chelsey Sullenberger (Sully), the pilot of the US Airways Flight 1549 that crashed into the Hudson River without any major injuries or fatalities is an excellent example of authenticity story.

2. Authenticity emerges from "people with a deep passion for what they are doing.” Ellie and Charlie are examples of this. Their passion and energy comes from deep down in their souls.

3. Authenticity is a person or thing that is what it says it is. The story the person tells through their actions aligns with the story they tell through their words, their body language and all other nonverbal communication. The recent Miss USA Pageant runner-up, Miss California, Carrie Prejean, exhibited authenticity with her genuine response to a pageant question. Her response kept her beliefs and convictions aligned with the words she spoke. She demonstrated genuine truthfulness and credibility.

The examples above are some outstanding ones, the unusual ones, to illustrate and clarify a point. All of us can be and can manifest authenticity of our real self the way we naturally are. Each of us is unique in our own way and authentic in that way. Let’s look at what we have to do to become authentic.

How can we become more authentic?

1. Believe in everything you say and do.

2. Always speak the truth and act in accordance with your moral compass at all times to all people: to your friends, your colleagues, to the public and to your customers. No hyped "pitching." No hyped "selling." No little white lies. No fear of what others will think of you, your brand or your company. No acting in a way that you think others will like you more.

Just complete and total honesty showing your genuine, unique, and passionate self. Nothing more. That’s the most powerful selling you can do.

3. We make the decision to be authentic or not. Authenticity is required but it cannot be compelled onto us. No one can be genuine and real when forced into it.

For more in-depth discussion and clarification, refer to “Authentic Self”.

Personal and Business Success Mindset Requires that we be Authentic

That is a fact. We have no choice if we want success. It is up to us to make that decision to believe, to be and to act in truth, with authenticity.

Reading this book found on the shelf at son’s home: Moral Intelligence – Enhancing Business Performance & Leadership Success By Doug Lennick & Fred Kiel

Attracted my attention because (my personal opinion) it seems there is great lack of a moral code (what’s right morally) in business, in personal life, in governments and in the world. Anything goes because words can be muddled and tumbled around to give appearance of something good. quick and many actions, all heaped together on top of each other for appearance …. These techniques fake us out, confuse our intuition, our emotions.

Short term progress and results are desirable to build hope and confidence. But most important is long-lived success, prosperity, and happiness... which comes from doing what's right as the foundation, + commitment to 'never give up' + a few more things.

May today bring you one-step closer to happiness, success and wealth for yourself.

Keywords: Today I added an example template for spreadsheet file to use when doing keyword research. To view, print or download it go to Passion Branding Community and Click on Document Files. The file is addendum to document on Keywords posted yesterday in Passion Branding Community.

Free PDF Software:
My PC tech support recommended this software. It’s easy to download, accepts almost all types of files (Word, Notepad, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, Excel sheets, emails, web pages +++).

The pdf files look exactly like Adobe and are read by Adobe PDF viewer (reader)

I just downloaded it and used it immediately. Quick, easy and viewed it in Adobe.com . All went without a glitch!

Check it out at: http://www.dopdf.com/download.php and download there also. The latest updates are here or just google “dopdf”.

Time management system and process that is easy, simple, efficient and effective is what I want. I bet you do too. Let’s begin.

Prepare for Each Day:
Prioritize the tasks you MUST DO on a written list. What’s on the list you won’t have to remember. Free up your mind from these details.

Develop a list of specific tasks like 1. Call Jane RE ebook; 2. post new blog. 3………
Be realistic in developing the list, and make it easy to follow.

Accomplishing many things does not mean we have been productive….. maybe it just means that we have been busy. Let’s be less busy and more productive by using a prepared list to remain focused.

Break down work time for the tasks into 15 Minute Segments
Deliberately focus your attention in 15 minute time increments for many tasks.

Some tasks that can be accomplished in 15 minutes:
- Declutter and organize your workspace, desk and materials you will need during this day.
- Read and respond to emails – but only do this a couple times each day, not every 30 minutes.
- Return phone calls.
- Respond to a couple forums or discussions on BraveHeart Women website, your Community site.
- Welcome and invite members to join you as a friend and/or to join your Community.
- Post one or two articles to blog and other sites (assumes you prepared everything you need to post when writing the blog post)
- Do something fun and relaxing to break up your workday: listen to music, play with your pet, take a short walk
- Read a few pages in a book on personal development or topic of interest to you.
- Research on the web for info, ideas – Google Search, etc.
- Develop list of keywords to research.
- Break down a larger project into smaller chunks that can be accomplished in sequence in 15-minute time segments (or 30 minutes).

Celebrate
Celebrate your time management success. Be grateful for what you have accomplished in these short time periods today. Allow these successes to energize and inspire to accomplish more. Repeat the process every day to form a habit.

This Time Management System allows you to serve people, do the things in your life that matter most and guide you to a happy, balanced, successful life and business.

What else can you do in 15 minute blocks of time? to get more done in less time? Your ideas are welcome and will be helpful for everyone.

If so, I want to share a really neat tip on how to grow your very own Community in BraveHeart Women (BHW)
If not, I encourage you to start a community to share your passion with other women. Allow other like-minded women to join you in conversation, actions, similar purpose and goals. Now, onto a special tip.

Neat Tip to Grow Your Community
I just learned this simple and automated process to gain new members into my Passion Branding Community that I want to share with you.

Invite people from outside of BraveHeart Women such as family, friends, peers, associates….. in addition to inviting BHW members.
When outside women join BHW, they automatically become members of your community at the same time. That’s great leverage.

Steps to add contacts from outside of BraveHeart Women:
-Go to www.braveheartwomen.com and sign in.
-Click ‘My Content’ on your toolbar.
-Click on ‘Tell Friends’
-Click on “Invite Friends” on the toolbar (navy blue with green letters)
-Add email addresses for your friends and those you wish to invite
- Send -- and see the New members joining you.

What a strategic process – leveraging and automating the system to receive new members. It’s easy, efficient, effective and is a productive use of your time.

Enjoy meeting new women every day.
