Tax Credits for Pet Ownership In the Works
4 Comments
Thank you Audie, Rebecca and Joy for your comments. I know of a woman who has rescued over 40 feral cats that feeds 30 cans of food a day plus dry food. The $3500 would cover half of her yearly food budget alone! In the meantime, I am sure that we will all do our part to care for our pets, no matter what the cost. With love, compassion and empowerment, animal lover Amelia Animal Lovers Community Hi Amelia This is a very interesting subject! As an avid animal lover 'Horse Lover", I would love a tax credit! Our pets often are a part of the family, just like our kids. We do spend money at the vet like we do at the doctors office. Many people spend a lot of money keeping their pets healthy and during the downturn of the economy it has been difficult for some to make the decision of what to do with them. Keep us informed! Rebecca Hofeldt Horse Lovers - Free Spirit Hi Amelia, I think this would be great as so many people consider their pet a part of their family. It would provide them a better way to care for these dear pets. Vet bills usually are expensive too. Pets are great therapy for people!! JOY Hi Amelia, Very interesting information. I am all for the tax credit. It would be a win win situation for all if it passes. Robert Davi brought up many valid points. Keep us posted on any news of its status. Pawsitively yours, Audie Kids and Pets Community
