After you have read this short storyyour mind will remind you to Always En-Courage Your Wonderful Desire!

Once upon a time there were 2 very Powerful Beings names Desire and Courage. They had a very close relationship, like best friends, one just could not be without the other. When they support each other, Life is Wonderful Magical and Meaningful… they Feel Alive! And, when they don’t… when they squabble… DWF (doubt, worry, fear) sets in like a plague and all they want to do is sleep, eat ice cream and watch TV. And, when that happens… enthusiasm wanes, dreams begin to fade and life lacks luster to say the least. Desire is extremely strong yet requires Courage to move forward. One day Desire was feeling depressed and drained wondering what to do. It had been so long since she felt any support from Courage and she couldn’t understand why. DWF consumed her. Desire was weakening. Mustering her last bit of energy, she cried out for all the Universe to hear, ‘What’s going on?!’ Then, in an instant, a bolt of Insight opened her Heart and Mind to the answer! She stood up, shook off DWF and commanded them to leave! Desire’s Energy was back and she couldn’t wait to speak to Courage.

“Courage, you’ve been wearing the wrong hat! You’ve been wearing the hat of dis-, so you became dis-Courage. It’s not your fault! DWF tricked you into wearing it. DWF thought they could dampen our Spirit. They didn’t know who they were dealing with. We are Desire and Courage! And, to always protect us forevermore from DWF, I brought you a new very Powerful hat. It’s the hat of En-, so now you’ll be En-Courage!”

Desire was back! Stronger than ever. And, her best friend, Courage, was right by her side Encouraging her every step of the way.

Dear Amy,

I sit with courage encompassed all around me. I'm in the middle of a field of encouragers who thankfully don't let go. Encouragement is my by-word. I am sent so many broken, sad, dis-couraged souls. Yet in our presence, together, with us, is a sparkle, a divine sparkle. Words so powerful yet softly spoken from our brave hearts enrich, empower, codify the landscape of our minds. We stand up on the inside, powerfully expectant. And then it happens: our hearts, our expectant hearts hear from outside the circle: orchids of every hue; roses wafting colors of perfume soft reds, pinks and lavenders; columbine restored refreshed renewed. All around us, the liquid smells, hues, sounds, refreshment were always there protecting courage and encouragement for timely release into our lives. My new bravehearts listen enraptured, imbued with souls ready to heal. Recidivists they are not. Resilient they are. No turning back. Amy thank you.

My dearest Amy,

You are my friend as Desire is to Courage. I am so grateful to know you. I love this story.

How did you know I eat ice cream when shrouded in DWF? Were you spying on me? Haagen Daaaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzzz but then I just want to sleep and ,watch TV. Desire goes in hiding and Courage remains missing.....illusion of safety. I have had a pint in my freezer for a week now. I think it is a good sign. Once in a while, it is a treat. Everyday it is more like torture.

I have tried to exclude courage....maybe it is easier to go it alone....it it's a trick. That tricky Dis- ! Look what it does ease!

I love the image it is beautiful!

Dearest Amy,

I Love this story and can absolutely relate to this...

For me, on occasion when I least feel like moving forward & feeling a little discouraged, I find the strength & desire to "Press On"... And, those are the times that I become the most productive.

I once read... "When you feel you are staggering aimlessly in the dark, remember, YOU ARE on the right path..."

So, the farther YOU "Press On" the greater the reward of "Desire and Courage!"

Amy, Thank You for sharing this Inspirational story, my dear Sister!

From my Heart to Yours,
Bell Rushing
