From my Heart to Yours, Bell Rushing Gentle Warrior Community Peace & Inner Strength… Gentle Warrior Blog Amy, I really loved this but I have to be totally honest....Choice sometimes scares me....it should feel powerful but a lot of times I hesitate and back off because I am afraid of making the choice and it could be wrong Dearest Amy I love you dearly I know we have the power to choose. I haven't always known that....I am grateful that it is clear to me now....it comes with responsibility....that which I am happy to accept. We must catch up soon. I miss you! Happy New Year! Best Wishes for 2010! Love Debra The Honor Your Truth Community Amy, Thank you! Your posting hits home - I made a choice to change what I do in 2009 and now, I often feel impatient, like I haven't done enough. I wonder if I am spending my time doing "stuff" or if the things I am doing are taking me to my goal/dream/passion/desire. I constantly work on being happy with where I am RIGHT NOW... and to just keep taking one step at a time. Thanks for your post! Andrea Thank you so much Amy, I can really identify with the fear of making choices and being stuck. I have come to realize just recently that I have the responsibility to make my own choices. I have allowed others to choose for me most of my life. Although it is a bit scary, I look forward to the freedom that personal choice/ responsibility brings. Thank you for being you and for sharing and clearing the pathway. Hi Amy, Thanks for your email and this blog. A few years ago I joined an organization that stressed how important your attitude, hard work and setting goals was to achieving your dreams. From then on I woke up every day feel rejuvenated and feeling like there was nothing I could not accomplish. Then an opportunity was presented to me to create a goal setting community for women and I jumped at the chance to provide a place to help women succeed and feel the way I did every day. Creating AmiGlowz has been an amazing journey which has changed so much of the way I think and feel each day. Life is what you make it and we all have choices as to what path we want to take. I am so glad someone showed me how much your outlook on life can change with having positive attitude. Thank you Becky Hi Amy, This has to be one of the best blogs, I have read! Zuly Hi Amy, Thank you so much for your timely letter. I have been at the same stuck place and was getting quite frustrated and depressed. Three years ago, I made a choice to become a Health Coach.. I spent a tremendous amount of time and expense in developing my new career but have not made significant progress. I allowed the lure of money to sidetrack me from my goal and, consequently, put aside what I had worked so hard to develop. Needless to say, I was not successful at any of the projects I got involved with. I have been doing a lot of soul searching this past week and realized that I was not following my passion and the desire God put on my heart. You gave me clarity and understanding of what was going on. Thank you again. I know there is power in making a decision - I have seen it in small things like putting off something you don't feel like doing and then just deciding to do it. I find when I do this I have a tremendous surge of energy and a clear mindset. Blessings, Julie Sabbatis Empowerment Maven Thank you Amy! I made a very difficult but enormously pressing choice 4 years ago. Sometimes the road to emotional freedom seems pitted with dangerous potholes, waiting to submerge us and drag us down for a while. Braveheart Women (and especially 'Live Alive') have held my hand each time the going has got too tough. I persevere along that road- and upwards. Thank you! Susan www.in-psychotherapy.co.uk Dearest Amy, Choice is a wonderful thing and a most powerful gift when we remember to use it. I have made some difficult choices in 2009 and I am now ready to face 2010 head on. Feeling more empowered, I anticipate many positive effects because of the recent choices. You share your thoughts so beautifully! Have a wonderful start to your New Year! Love, Lynette Formula To Manifest Community Hello Amy, Thank you for your beautifully written words. "Making a True Choice Is Powerful" I have never felt more empowered after doing this for myself Warm wishes for an awesome 2010! PMJ Hi Amy, I've been experiencing something similar lately so this really hit me. It is about choice, and not making a decision actually is a decision in itself. Thank you for stating this so perfectly! Deborah Hi Amy! Great to have you back in full strength! Yes, isn't it weird how we forget from time to time that we always have a choice...sometimes to tragic ends... So, we must always remember to keep our spirits up - to help our friends and family keep their spirits up We have to RISE on the strength of our soul at these difficult times, and from within ourselves find the faith to make a choice to move forward, even just a tiny bit Then, the Universe will respond to our choice to move and will somehow open the door we thought was locked We can help some other soul through this moment of paralysis with a big smile or a kindness that gives them hope again...we do this all the time here at BraveHeart Women! Thank you for reminding us all to choose at every moment, Amy! Blessings, love and joy to us all always! Hi, Amy! SO interesting... because I, too, had been in a similar situation to yours. I found myself in a scary place and stuck. I was feeling pretty panicked. Then I realised that I had allowed my mind to dictate my actions and had ignored my gut feelings. As a result, I had wandered out of alignment with the choice I had previously made - the choice of how I intended to express Who I Really Am. Thankfully, I am now back on track! Whew! Wishing you an outrageously wonderful 2010 with an abundance of blessings! Lots of love Kazmax I CHOOSE LOVE. I have recently used ALL of them to describe a recent feeling or event ... but seeing them here is my first conscious affirmation that the experience of these words was, for me, the result of a conscious choice. Thank you for the beautiful poem, Amy. Happy Holidays! with love, Lisa
