DETOURS:)

Hi Ladies,

Well..I had myself a little adventure this week. A girlfriend of mine who is vacationing for 2 weeks down the Jersey shore was kind enough to invite me down to sit and relax on the beach with her. So I decided to get myself an early start so I could enjoy the entire day etc.. So here I was driving along very nicely ( going along the normal route that I "KNOW") when all of a sudden I hit a detour. Suddenly PANIC struck because ...well..lets just say I am not the best when it comes to directions. And let me add they had no signs posted to follow the detour which left me even more frantic. haha. I was trying to remain calm and turned down some road ( actually the only road in sight TO turn down) haha When finally I waved down the one and only car that was coming in my direction and asked if they could direct me back where I needed to be. Thank God this women knew what she was talking about ..and SHE obviously knew her way around because her directions got me exactly where I wanted to go. Ok so now I was relieved..I was once again on the right path haha.. When I finally get about 10 minutes away from entering the shore point..I hit another detour. haha The little bridge that was suppose to take me right into the shore point was closed..So I had no idea of an alternate route. haha So..what did I do? I phoned a friend ( yes I felt like I was on " I want to be a millionaire)hahaha Phoned a friend and she directed me in..Ok so I made it safe and sound once again...Could I relax? ummm well not exactly... there I was sitting on the beach unable to relax totally because I was thinking to myself..."Omg...is this what is going to happen on the way back home ?" haha I had all intentions of staying late and driving back after a long day of enjoyment but the fear of getting lost made me leave early just so I could see where the heck I was going haha..
Ok..so all this wondering..made me think of life and how it throws us a curve now and then or for a better choice of words..Takes us on a DETOUR.... we sometimes panic...we wonder why...we fear the direction or the unknown..but in the end...Maybe we did all the worrying and stressing for nothing..because I learned a few new routes of coming and going due to those detours...haha ANd I actually had no choice but to figure out what I had to do and where I had to go because no one was with me..haha It was turn around and go home or figure out where I was going so I could reach my destination haha.. So...all this put me into thinking about LIFE and its detours as well..I think when life throws us a curve or DETOUR...its there for a reason.. It happens because we are suppose to learn something from it..Maybe A NEW DIRECTION IN LIFE.
