I know that sounds a little silly coming from a full blooded Italian gal but I just couldn't help myself
I'm sure many of you recognize that expression and I'm sure many of you don't . So I am going to tell you where I heard it from and who I think of when I hear those words. PAULA DEEN !!!!!!!!!!
I had the opportunity of meeting her in person ( BRIEFLY of course) and I wanted to share with all of you my experience. To me she was a very beautiful, gracious,down to earth, funny, compassionate, warm hearted and loving ...inspirational braveheartWOMEN.
I could go on and on but that basically sums her up. However....I need to share a few details so you can all appreciate this little story. Here I was SOOOOOOO excited to meet her...and of course In my head I knew exactly what I was going to say.. how I wanted to say it and ..Of course things never go as planned. haha When I realized I was only going to have a few moments of her time "the pressure set in haha " So I decided to relax and just say whatever comes to mind first. Hoping I didn't make a fool of myself haha. So here I am standing side by side with the beautiful PAULA DEEN waiting to have our picture taken..and the first thing that came to mind was.. " your beautiful" . So as planned I spit out the first thing that came to mind. haha Of course I hoped I added "I meant beautiful both inside and out" But my mind said one thing and my mouth another..haha She is beautiful outside but its her inner beauty that truly beams off of her..Her eyes speak, her smile speaks and her spirit speaks loud and clear. Anyway...she just smiled and put her arm around me and poof our picture was taken.. Then in that one little moment left...something was telling me to tell her exactly what I was thinking... So I did..haha I gave her a little hug and whispered to her... "YOU ARE A BRAVEHEARTWOMEN." And she looked at me and said.. " WHAT?????? WHAT IS THAT? And I said.." WOMEN WHO ARE INSPIRATION IN ACTION thats you" haha ANd the next thing I knew my moment with PAULA DEEN was over haha..
Now I'm telling you all this because...I currently am reading her book about her life story..called "It Ain't All About the Cookin" haha And let me tell you she has had her share of lifes ups and downs...difficulties and blessings and she shares them all in such a beautiful, positive , inspirational way.. I truly feel she is a BRAVEHEARTWOMEN. One who should be part of the community for sure. I hope she finds her way to the site but my real hope is that she find her way to be one of the speakers for bhw...I am confident none of you would be disappointed and either would she..haha . She truly seems to be a very genuine person.
Ok ..so I say.. All in favor of PAULA DEEN? Just say "Yeahhhhhh" haha Sorry I don't know how to put a southern accent on that haha
