I'm just curious:)

Hi Ladies,

Its been a while since I have posted . Truth is I have been undecided as to what I wanted to discuss. SOOOO... many of you are already in your directon of career or seem to know what your purpose in life is..And if you don't..It seems as though you all have ideas as to what direction you wish to go.. So in other words .. it seems as though you have much to share with all of us. I myself have been giving a lot of thought lately to "my purpose in life". I imagine our purpose changes as we grow through life.. Currently I feel as if I do not know what my purpose is. And the more I think about it..the more I realize I have so many things I am interested in..but can't seem to find my direction. Is it possible ones purpose is greater then one? The saying....." Jack of all trades...master of none" keeps running through my mind...Simply because I have so many different interests..So here is my question that I am curious about.. Just how does one find their purpose.. ? Does it just fall in your lap?Do you go after every interest you have waiting for the light bulb to go on? haha So I'm just curious what you all think about finding your purpose in life..

Hi Ellen,

Thank you so much for your response. Actually it is very informative, inspirational and thought provoking. And to answer your question.. as to what I would love to do all day. I could very easily write poems all day long. <smile>

Thanks again for sharing

OOOOOh, I loved your post and would like to offer some ideas. Pick up a copy of Gregg Levoy's book "CALLINGS". Good stuff there. Also: what do you love to do? I mean LOVE to do - what could you do all day and forget to eat you were so happy and engaged doing it? Your passions, your desires, are often tied to your purpose. I believe we are each given a desire in our hearts... What's yours? What's your: Before I leave this life, I sure want to ____________________________? That should get you started. And I think purposes changes over the course of our lives. We have many threads and the Master Weaver loves to make His tapestry.

Blessings to you,
