Make you laugh:)

Posted Mar 14, 2010 09:09 PM
Hi Ladies,

Something a little different today. No poem but rather something to make you laugh. At least it makes me laugh every time I think of it.. So I wanted to share the laughter. If my memory serves me right I believe I watched a segment of BHV saying there is such a thing as "laughing yoga". So here is my laughing yoga class for all of you haha
I have been in limbo of my purpose in life recently.. Having many interest but not sure which truly appeals to me. So I went back to school for a few classes regarding the medical field (office medical stuff)..but realized immediately those particular classes weren't for me. Another desire I have that keeps coming back to me is my love for massage therapy. So that goal I will achieve one day. But in the mean time.. My current interest and current class I am attending is an INDIAN COOKING CLASS. I am 100% ITALIAN but love Indian food so much I decided I wanted to learn how to cook it. So to make a long story longer haha I have attended approx. 3 classes so far and absolutely love it! I am so excited in class that my teacher is just thrilled with me because she said I am so enthusiastic about learning haha. To which I said.. " thats because I love the class!!!!". And she does such a great job. Makes the class fun and interesting.
Anyway...at the end of each class we all sit together and eat the dishes we made that night. Last week my teacher was sharing with me... that she happens to love ITALIAN cooking. haha Said she makes a few good dishes but should probably swap recipes with me haha Then stated she must have been ITALIAN in a past life because she loves it so much..To which I said.. " thats funny because I always say I must have been INDIAN in a past life because I love their food so much as well." We both busted out laughing it was just a very funny moment. Well it was to me anyway.. maybe you had to be there to fully appreciate it :)

So maybe from all this I can ask you ladies.. Just what do you think of PAST LIVES? Do they exist ...? do you believe in them etc? I do:)

thanks for listening ladies and I look forward to your comments.
Angeliis:)

Aloha Donna,

My "knowing" tells me I have been alive in this universe in many other forms. I am at home with the thinking that our purpose in our current life is spiritual advancement that we have determined, and yes, planned and agreed upon in another realm. I am certain that we all share ownership in a universal energy often known as "God", and that energy always operates in our finest, highest interest.
I would enjoy continuing this conversation!

I recently just completed an Indian cooking class and have enjoyed every minute of it and learned SO SO MUCH but let me say this.. There is nothing like learning HANDS ON haha So learn all you can while your there ..the food is fabulous and healthy in many ways..

Also ...don't give to much thought to what made you click on my blog ..just remember everything happens for a reason. So you clicked on it because we were suppose to cross paths haha..

I would love to hear more about your trip to India and will check out your blog as well.

Enjoy and learn
Angeliis
Hi Angeliis,

Just wanted to say Hi and that I enjoyed your blog...don't know exactly what drove me to click on it. I was attracted to your comment about Ayurvedic Health. I'm actually in India! I haven't been on the site for a long time and vowed today to find an internet cafe and check in with the my Braveheart friends!
We have an Indian woman cooking for us once a week. She speaks Konkani only so it's been a learning experience as we go to the market together for veggies, rice and lots of spices. Each week she learns a few words in English like banana and carrot and we learn a few in Konkani. (don't even want to try to spell in Konkani!).
I'm going to try and blog about our experience here in Gio, India. I am here for 3 months with my 3 daughters.
Like you, my life as I "knew it" has changed and my future is.....? ha!

Hi Bell!!!!!!!!!!

I appreciate your commenting on my blog. Your words are always so heartfelt , sincere, supportive and most of all inspiring. :) Being true to who I am is something I had to learn to do ( in fact I'm still learning how to do that haha )...Like many of us...I had a tendency to put others before myself. Not that ...that is a bad thing but there are times when you have to do whats best for you first..( circumstances always play a role in this decision). Anyway..It wasn't until recently that I understood exactly what it meant to be true to who I am and to still be able to serve others and myself without it causing negative affects.:) I guess you could say I am "growing" <smile>

thanks again for your kind words
Love Angeliis

I say GO for it, theirs absolutely nothing that can STOP! you or get in your way but YOU :)

And that's exactly what I meant when I was saying that when you find something you truly love to do,

''YOU'LL NEVER WORK A DAY'' So long as your pursing your passion you can't ever go wrong.

Jennene
Hi Jennene,

Glad to see you found your way to my blog:) Currently I am only attending school for an Indian cooking class haha but I love it!!!!!!! And know whats really interesting? Because I love it so much I don't even realize I am in school. Its more like going to a place to have fun!!!! Thats how I knew when I went back to school for the medical office education it wasn't for me..because I really didn't look forward to going. With my cooking class ...I no sooner leave and I can't wait to get back to it the following week haha. I feel the same way in regard to massage therapy ..So that will be my next goal to achieve.

But for now? its cooking all the way :)

Thanks again
Angeliis
Hi! Angeliis, :)

I honestly enjoyed your story, I thought it was very interested to say the least. And I totally commend you for having the courage to go back to school. To re-define what it is that makes you HAPPY,LAUGH,HAVE FUN. Continue to do what it is that you like and you know what they say you'll never work a day.

On another note, I definitely believe in a past life and like Darlene I'm sure I've had quite a few, ;)

Have A Blessed Evening,

Jennene
Hi Darlene,

Thank you so much for participating in my blog. I love your positive attitude and words of wisdom:) I love the quote "Happiness is the key to Success." Hold on to that special friend she/he knows what they are talking about :)

Thanks again
Angeliis
My Dear Angeliis,

Love the story....you have a hold of something here. You mentioned a few times the words, love what you are doing, fun, laughing....that my friend is the key. Here is a saying that a special friend gave to me the other day and it warrants mentioning here...
Success is not the key to Happiness
Happiness is the key to Success.
If you Love what you are doing,
You WILL BE SUCCESSFUL.
-Buddha

As for past lives...yes, I believe in them....and I have had so many that it would take too much room

Love your BH Sister,
Darlene
