Well, to support our direction in reversing diabetes naturally, we have embarked on an 80% or as much as possible. RAW DIET. The symptoms of detoxing are beginning to appear. My head and throat are feeling a little clogged, I have an increasing thirst for more water. It's good, a natural way to detox, drink more water, and allow the mucous or toxins flow "out".
In our society, we have been trained to "stop" the flow, stop the fever, and don't be sick. There is one problem with this mindset. When our body is naturally "healthy enough" to release toxins, our job is to "assist it", not resist it.
Eat lightly, drink plenty of water, take enzymes, and of course, the hardest of all....REST.
It takes time and knowledge to understand the differance between a "healing crises or cleansing", and when our body is just so overloaded it gets really sick. The signs of being sick is when we have a cold that lasts for 3 weeks, or it turns into a flu, and then into pneoumonia. It is still just trying to do it's job and get rid of the toxins. When we don't allow this to happen, it gets "stuck" in the body, until it has collected into a more serious illness.
So embarking on a raw diet for a few days, a week or however long we choose to keep it up, is a simple way to allow some of the toxins to be released, in a comfortable way. It still requires a little extra rest, but I would rather choose to cleanse and rest, and be pro-active, than be "forced" to with a more extreme case of serious illness.
