Are You Comfortable with Making Mistakes?

Posted May 1, 2009 08:00 AM
One thing I have to say about the journey of life is that no matter how old we become there is always something new to be learned.

That is of course if we are willing!

What do you think about perfectionism... is it a disease? I welcome your thoughts on this topic.

I am an ex-perfectionist. I am glad to be healed! :-D
It took time and it was not easy!
With a husband, 4 children, 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 fish, numerous tropical insects and ants and a full time job-I kind of "had to" let it go.
But I still have passion for excellence.:-x

Thank you Audie, for this wonderful reminder.
Much love

Pathways to Peace
That was an awesome video, Audie! WOW! I spent most of my life trying to live up to what I THOUGHT was expected of me, in order to be accepted and loved by my parents. So I developed a sense of 'having to be perfect' at a very young age.

I especially like how Christine Carter called it a 'disease' because in reality, it DOES cause Dis-Ease within us when we strive constantly to be perfect. It also affects everyone around us.

Thank you so much for sharing that!!! :-x

P.S. Using Centerpointe's Holosync program is really helping me to be AWARE of these things in my life that I had buried. I am learning to observe it, and release it, allowing it to mature into something that serves me and those around me.
:-xThank you Audie.
