Pets Are Changing Kid's Lives in Big Ways

Russian kids get better with pets

Pet therapists boost children's health and hope in Siberia.

Animal therapy is nothing new and has been used for decades throughout the world to help children overcome physical, emotional and learning challenges. But in Russia it's still relatively rare.

One of the few programs offering help and hope to hundreds of children is to be found in a small Siberian village.

Watch how the pets lend a helping paw to these kids.

Hi Audie,

Beautiful work that these little pet animals are doing!
Would like to see our American schools utilize animals more - much more.
This could be done not just in the lower elementary grades but for the teens as well.

Love your animal posts! :-D

Audie, it seems to be the age of "Inspiration in Action" even for the animals. :)
