Shape Your Day with Simple Pleasures

Hi Audie, I too love to laugh. The Native Americans called laughing and crying quickening medicine, a way to move into another state of being. This works if you need to cry as well. I just got back from a girlfriend trip that was full of what we call "pee your pants laughter." It's quite therapeutic! Thanks for the reminder to enjoy the finer things in life! Warmly, Laurie ; ) What a great message to greet me when I arrive home! Thanks for sharing your simple pleasures! Hi Ellie, I enjoyed your description of your simple pleasures...very relaxing! You are truly blessed love, Audie Audie, As I'm in the process of packing and preparing to close the FL house, until our return, I realize how much I enjoy sitting on the screened porch, reading, and watching the dolphin and manatee in the river, the osprey who fishes in the river and sometimes brings his fish catch to the big live oak tree in our yard to consume. I will miss all of this, but I have the wonder of spring in PA to look forward to. Putting the humming bird feeder out, watching robins and cardinals gathering sticks and grass to build their nests and most of all, grateful to see our grandchildren on a regular basis...attend ball practice/games and choral and band concerts.......I'm very blessed. Ellie Spangler Inspired By Living a Legacy Hi Darlene, I am honored that you would sing a song for me...and who knows if you sing outside your neighbors may just join in. Wouldn't you agree that it could qualify as a simple pleasure. love, Audie Audie, Thank you for this! Simplicity is where things are at for me so this is a fantastic theme. Since it has warmed up here in brisky Alberta, Canada the birds have come out to play...I enjoy the start to my day listening to them sing the joys of being alive....it makes me think that I should be singing too...but to spare my neighbors I sing inside. It is an incredible feeling! Happy Spring Audie, I will sing a song inside my soul for you!!! Your BH Sister, Darlene Hi Chickee, I too am amazed with Hummingbirds, that is awesome that you have them coming so close to you! They will be hovering in front of you before you know it. love, Audie Hi Rijuta, Spring is on its way and you will be taking your inspiring walks in the park real soon. Enjoy! love, Audie Hi Linda, You are so right it only takes a few moments of time to enjoy the smallest thing, which in turn refreshes our soul and revives our energy. love Audie Dear Audie, I can hardly wait for one of my simple pleasures, sitting on my deck and watching hummingbirds come to the feeder. Twice while watching a hummingbird come to the feeder during last summer I thought of how much I'd like one to fly and hover in front of me. Guess what? It happened. Amazing birds! Divine moments! Hi Audie, At this time of the year, I love working outside in my garden. I also love taking a walk in the park and watching day by day the new growth and blossoming of plants and flowers. True, little things mean a lot!!! Thank you for the reminder, Audie. With love, Rijuta Creative Concentration Community Audie, Thanks for the reminder of how important the 'simple pleasures' are in our every day lives. Just taking a few moments to enjoy the breeze blowing or feeling the warmth of the sun refreshes our soul and revives our energy. In Gratitude for you... Linda Kay Holden New Beginnings Community
