1 Attachment Hairstyle.jpg (38.4 K) St. Valentine’s Day…. the special day set aside to express your LOVE and celebrate those loving relationships in your life. It is important to recognize your loved ones on this holiday of hearts, however may we all remember to continue sharing that love and caring with open hearts every day of the year. This quote is from the beautiful Valentine card from my LOVE today… “I promised to love you forever -- To stay by your side through good times and bad. It was the biggest promise I ever made. Yet each year, as forever draws closer, I’m struck by how simple it has been… Because marrying you was the smartest thing I ever did.” We have often heard that “a picture is worth a thousand words”. Having said that and in sharing this photo with you, it is not necessary for additional written content. The TRUE LOVE of my life, my amazing husband and soul-mate, washed and dried my hair for me, a gift of TRUE LOVE. (One “wing is slinged” as you may recall from my previous blogs.) Now that is true love! (Kent- do NOT quit your say job to become a hair dresser though- leave that to the professionals! Linda, can you imagine if you needed a trim?!)

My DH tried to do my hair one day. It really is a fun experience for any of you that need a good laugh! It was an excercise that I think brought us a little closer... he had a littlr more appreciation of what women go through to look good. The laughing was healing, and doing something where you are vulnerable is a good bonding experience. It was more fun than the bonding experience when we went to Optimum Health Institute for a week long detox cleanse (hint: their motto is "The Family that cleanses together, stays together- wheat grass enema anyone?"

Thank you for your laughter, love and joy. I love the two of you!
