Today there is an energy in the air
I can feel it – a change is coming.
Some may call it fate
I choose to see it as my destiny.

While my eyes cannot see
Beyond the horizon of today.
The electricity in the emotion
Tells me differently.

It may be something so miniscule
That it would go past most people unnoticed.
Yet we who know the feeling
And are connected with our mind/body and soul
Recognize and allow this shift
To impact us with a positive mindset.

When this feeling occurs I ride the wave
And let it carry me with a light load and
Lofty dreams.

For today is today and
Tomorrow will suffice as its own.
