A Good “CanNot” – Wisdom From History --
1 Comment
6th Oct 09-Thank you Barbara for the post. The comment would be-one can praise each person one meets every day. Concentrate on what is really there: the energy and desire to be. The person in front of you has awakened, dressed, left their home, is on their way to their destination [even if it is unknown to them when you see them]. We are not privy to the degree of effort it took for that person to be in front of you in this moment. A simple smile, nod, eye contact-acknowledgement of their existence, these simple acts may be the only praise they may receive this particular day.... a 'namaste' without the the prayer hands, if you will. Honoring each with total acceptance, can be the stimulus for each of us "to do for ourselves". and last but not least-Don't forget to 'namaste' yourself in the mirror either!..don't leave home without it!
