Why is it Snowing Again?

hi Barbara! Great post. It reminds me of a Bible verse that asks us to prepare our fallow soil and get it ready for re- planting. Naturally, it is referring to our hearts. It's asking us to prepare our hearts to receive something new - a new blessing- a new lesson - a deeper relationship with God. Sometimes we try to cover over parts of our lives but as you and I know- it's best to allow "spring" to come. To allowing the refreshing of God's Spirit to enter and make everything new again. Alane D. Brown Christian Women Community Lead It is freezing here in good ole' Minnesota.....I had to clean off my car this morning because it snowed last night as well. I love the brisk air.....I actually love winter...it is refreshing....and the impetus for rebirth...which of course....is a good thing! So......bring it on! Debra Hadraba Honor Your Truth Inspiration+Action My mother used to tell me that we have seasons within ourselves. The winter is when the plants/trees look like they are dead. There are no leaves on the trees, the branches do not grow, almost no sign of life. But it is the winter when the deep growth occurs. This is the time that the trees roots grow deeper and wider. This growth strengthens the tree, making more stable as well as more fruitful in the summer. We have times when all seems so dreary, hard, cold, and perhaps confusing. I like to think this is when I am growing deeper, stronger and preparing myself for a more fruitful future. Have a blessed day!
