Dear Barb, Thank you for taking the "time" to write this post Yes time is of the essence...it is the essence....we have a finite amount and not only that we dont know how much that is....so as far as we are concerned...we are out of time and what we receive is a gift....thats the way I see it. I am attempting to be more selective in how I spend my time. I have a big note on my desk that states "my time has value" because I found myself spending hours with those who do not wish to talk about the solution. I am no longer willing to go over and over the problem. I will listen but I want to move on to possible solutions fairly quickly....I used to spend hours and days and dollars on others problems....it was a distraction. The fewer distractions I get caught up in the better. It takes courage but ultimately it is a much more peaceful way to live. Regret is worse than anything. As far as I know, we only get one life....that's it....1! Love Debra The Honor Your TruthCommunity

Aloha Barb, I often find that I benefit when I remember that others see things from their own unique perspective - - and they may be wondering why I don't just get on board. I have come to believe that the events of my life are ordered according to my own sacred contract - drafted long before I took this earthly form... and that if I stay tuned into my guidance, that voice in my heart.. my knowing... that clarity will surface, and my steps will be in the right direction. I had my 60th birthday this year, and with it came lots of reflection and a fair amount of resolve to live a bigger fuller life.On the large scale, that snaps into focus... however, what to do in each moment can become very muddled. You comment that "Time is of the essence" stirs me because I often do not make the highest use of my time... Always learning... Linda ``

I have lived a long and happy life ... not without trials and tribulations and if we understand that the trials and tribulations were there to teach us lessons we needed to learn, then it is ALL good! ...
