You've asked questions about the founder of BraveHeart Women....Who is she?

Posted Apr 6, 2009 10:07 PM
Dear BraveHeart Woman:

We have had so many new BraveHeart Women joining the Community! This is so inspiring....

In fact, we now have women from 52 countries!

And many of you are curious about who started this amazing BraveHeart Community and it's Vision.

Well, here is an interesting point:

She is always in the community blogging, participating in the discussion boards, and having meaningful chats with members...

But while doing that, she introduces herself by her first name and without the title...

So although many of you maybe connecting with her already, you may not have had an official introduction....

To say hello and welcome you, she has recorded a 'personal' video message for you which will be available to watch in a couple of days....However UNTIL then, here a short review of what she's been up to in the past 12 months...

Ellie Drake is an inspiration to everybody she meets and most certainly has been to me. Aside from having outer beauty, she also has an inner beauty that attracts people.

The first time I saw her speak in Dallas in 2004-2005 she had dozens of people gathered all around her to the point that it was impossible for me to get up close to introduce myself. Then, it happened again later. Therefore, I did not meet her until the following year.

Ellie sees into the core of each woman in a way that not very many people see... She truyl understands people and has the canny ability to see the truth and articulate it to the person in a way that can empower them. This is a very intuitive gift and few people have that ability to truly see the heart of another soul.

I am blessed to know Ellie and Charlie Drake.

With Love and Gratitude,
Rose Kirkland

Ellie showed up precisely when I needed to stay in harmony within myself. I'm enjoying every minute with braveheart women.

Hi Guys, I'm 3 days old in this community, but can someone teach me how to change my ID? Please?

I went to personalize but can't seem to see that button.
[Hello everyone I am Karen and I live in southern Alberta, Canada. I am sort of retired, just working at home now taking care of myself and my husband, which I love doing very much. I retired from PCA work about one year ago. I joined this Brave Heart W omen's Global Community to be able to talk with others as inspiration to some and or get some inspiration when needed. I enjoy people, and have met many lovely people in my sixty-six years of life, but have had some trouble with self esteem after I lost my mom when I was only twelve and went to live with my oldest sister. Things went on from there and I'd like to write a book one day about it all. Anyway that is a little about me and like you there is a lot more. Hope everyone is having a good day where ever you are and we will talk soon. Karen
Ellie, is Inspiration in Action. She has inspired so many women to make changes in their lives, to see the amazing women they truly are, and to develope and advance their talents, inner strength, and ability to be successful beyond what they ever imagined. :) Joy
I always knew that I wanted to do more with my life. A friend of mine introduced me to Ellie's vision. By divine chance, I became a platinum member of BraveHeart Women.

I am grateful for the many sisters that I now have because of Ellie. She keeps me inspired to be all that I can be.

I am hopeful that my husband will become a BraveHeart Man...so we can walk with "purpose" together. :-x

God bless you Ellie and your precious family,

Living in the moment,

Hello BraveHeart Sisters Near and Far

Since you are reading this message you have become a member of a great group of women all shapes, sizes, languages and religious beliefs. We are one body and mind.

We are all together because of one woman. She has a passion that is coming true by the hour and day.

I had the pleasure to meet Ellie four years ago in Dallas. Since that time I have followed Ellie around the country. My good fortune is I am a member of the Founding group of 100 women. You will never believe the excitement in the room when Ellie announced the plans for BraveHeart Women.

Over the years since the beginning I have always been around to enjoy Ellie's words of encouragement and love. I am a quiet Founding Member, but I am very grateful for what I have learned and implemented in my life.

I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new friends at the next event as we continue to learn.

Ellie came into my life with authentic loveacceptance, high energy, creativity, passion and focus.

She brings her graciousness to every aspect of her life, and has a gift for allowing those who are in her presence to become full expressions of who they were born to be.

I am joyously grateful to know this courageous young woman,

with deepest appreciation to you, Ellie, and your family,

your friend,
the Cowgirl Rising,

BraveHeart Support Team,
I believe Ellie has one of the "greatest stories ever told".
I met her at what I believe was one of her first trips on a seminar in Dallas. Later, she was in California twice that I was in BreakThroughs out there and again in Dallas. She staged with some of the BIG BOYS in Dallas and I will not call names but Ellie stoled the show, so to speak.

I will never forget the music, the astounding power that filled the room. It was like a bolt of lightening hitting every one there. I do not believe there was a dry eye in the house. The purpose, the power, the excitement for her and her family, the intention, the gift of speaking and being well heard - it was amazing, and powerful to say the least!

Ellie made such an impact on me, I said then, I will follow her to the ends of the earth. What an incredible woman with purpose and passion.

I have had two strokes, lost my sister and had to care for my aging (93 yr old) mother and I asked myself, where am I going to find the strength to do this. My health was not so great either. Then at the end of that same year, only a few months later, I lost my brother, brother-in-law, and my little 8 yr. old great great nephew to brain cancer. Now, I am the soul caretaker for sure, How was I to do this?

That was not enough, my husband was diagnosed with CANCER and had to undergo three surgeries. The last one at Baylor in Dallas turned out to be clean but gosh, I have Mom, I have etc. etc. and etc on my plate! This is not going to cut it. I was so exhausted sitting up day and night for three weeks with him and now ...
While praying, I asked God, how am I going to do all of this, my plate is full!
He reminded me of my notes from Ellie's coaching, of empowerment, my trust issues, and I immediately got my CD's out, tuned back in to who I am.
I even called women to began coaching classes on line (teleconferences) and thought at one point, who do you think you are?!!! I am now off of my pity pot.
I can do this. I will do this, I am a BraveHeart woman. (That was before all of the blogging etc. on her website. ) and long before all of our personal issues came to greet us in our home.
You know what? It gave me faith in a whole new light, just as the music gave a whole new meaning while Ellie shared her dynamic story in Dallas. That still brings chills up my spine! She is awesome! She is a light unto the path of any one's journey.

One of the ladies that I called for coaching, was contemplating suicide when I called her. She is well on her way to becoming a BraveHeart Woman too. I thank the Lord every day for who I am, where I am, for teaching me that challenges only act as ways to strengthen faith and for the love, trust and BraveHeart that Ellie has become to me.

I will have to break this down a lot more one day when the time is 'ripe' for inspirational growth!
I am looking forward to what you all share in a few days.
I know it is going to be powerful. ;)
Linda
I just watched Ellie's video with great interest since I'm a new member and I was deeply touched and moved to see BraveHeart women in action re-building New Orleans. I'm especially touched on this night that while I am relieved to learn my cousins in Abruzzi are okay but sad to see the earthquake destroy so many lives and homes. I am telling the story of our uncles and aunt who came to America so many years ago and never looked back and I feel grateful tonight that I can still share my virtual family photo memoir album with them on this night that I'm reminded of the power of doing things now. I will e mail them my half finished, imperfect website tomorrow.

Ellie has been my friend, my teacher, my guide, and my inspirations for years. Ellie has awakened within me a passion to be the best me I can be, and to live a life aligned with my purpose.

I was there at the birth of this community, and I will be there every step of the way as we, the BraveHeart Women, share, and create a world of deeper communication and commitment to a higher purpose for all.

I am pleased and full of gratitude to HONOR Ellie Drake, in all of her calm intensity and immense love...

Thank You Ellie, for this opportunity to be part of something so much larger than myself...

Thank you for the positioning to influence a shift in the very mindset of humanity, away from conflict...toward co-operation...

...and peace.
