What If It Is Working?

Posted Feb 27, 2010 12:56 PM
What if everything going on, the economy issues, the war issues, peace issues, health issues, and on and on, is how it looks while it's working? What if this is our access to abundant thinking, abundant living, and joy? What if we could realize this is it and laugh as we move through life?

I notice I can breathe more when I think this way, that there is nothing to get to, nothing to worry about, this is how we are doing it. We are fixing the economy, the global warming, the hunger, the peace talks, health care, the security of our lives.

This is how it looks, and I don't agree with all of it, but I'm not meant to agree 100%. I'm meant to live with contrast, diversity, growth, and find joy in that.

It just looks different than I think it should, or that my memory tells me it should look like.

That poses a freedom of thought, an acceptance of being and of how the divine works.

Dear Brie,

Thank you for sharing ... :-x ...

Now that IS a profoundly insightful thought!!! ... :-D ...

God's plan was never intended to be understood by man ... Man's interpretations of God's plan is all we can hope to aspire to ... ;) ...

I live in Hawaii and at 4:30 am or thereabouts I heard on CNN that at 6 am this morning the sirens were going to sound the alarm and we who live in an evacuation zone must evacuate to higher grounds ... OMG! ...

I woke my son and we hurried to "pack" and head to my sister's place ... I alerted my nephew and advised him to join us ... I could only leave a message on his cell phone ...

I then called his Mom and advised her of the situation and she said she would call until she managed to get in touch with him ...

Long story ... short ... It proved to be a different kind of day for most of us living in this State ... It IS better to be safe than sorry ... and somehow, despite an 8.8 magnitude earthquake in Chile ... Hawaii was spared ... No damage ... Waves only about 3 feet ... Not a whole lot ... but, it could have been VERY different ... The scientists advised us to prepare for 10 - 12 feet tsunami waves ...

I had visions of returning to our complex with water in the lobby ... OMG! ...

But, that is not how things turned out ...

And, so it IS! ... :-x ...

As human beings, it is NOT for us to reason, "Why?" ... And, so the saying goes ...

Indeed, I DO "get that" ... I have "gotten that" for a VERY long time ...

Trust ... Trust in the Universe ... I have uttered those words many, many, many times ... To all who know me well ... to all for whom I have some degree of responsibility ...

Trust ... Trust in the Universe ...

Yes, indeed ... my dear Brie ... I do believe you have shared a most profound and valuable insight with all of us today ... :-x ...

We must do what we EACH can ... and know in our bravehearts that that is all that we can do ... and we must trust that it WILL be enough ... IF we all strive to do our VERY BEST ... it WILL be enough ...

Thank you soooo much for sharing that insight ... and for articulating it sooo well ... YOU inspire me! ... :) ... :-x ...

Aloha pume hana,

Anna,
Thank you, you said it very elegantly.

I also like that you see to take more steps to develop yourself.

Thanks for reading my post. :)
Hi Brie,

that is a very interesting point you're making.

Rather than beating ourselves up over what is not being done, we ought to see that there are things happening.

So, maybe we're doing a lousy job, but maybe we're not really and in any case, we're doing the best we can at this point and time in our lives.

I can go with that. As long as we don't stop there and always try to be open to improvements.

Thanks.

Anna
