The Sand of an Hour Glass~

Posted Nov 15, 2009 07:48 AM
Hello My Friends~
Call it an email Debut~
The power went out this morning and WE had a thought~
Here is what working with my Life & Internet friends have done through me~

Through the Sand of an Hourglass~

The hustle and bustle of the mind can often allow us to miss the wonders of the day that surround us.
We are busy to get things done or to busy trying to make things happen. Never allowing time for the Sand of the Soul to enjoy it's being.

The quiet moments are not meant to be fought but embraced.
When we step over the quiet moments in the sand the body does not recognize what it means to hold Peace in it's midst.

The Busy will always run till it drops.
The Busy will always keep you from the quiet bliss.
The Busy will always be busy just to keep Peace at bay.
The Busy thinks if you stay Busy you will never miss the Peace.
The Busy will always require more busy.

The Peace will help you mind your P's and Q's
The Peace KNOWS once you find it…..Limits are no longer you boundaries.

The Hour Glass of each day is a symbol of how quickly busy can carry you away or it can be a BETTER sign that we should always just sit and STAY.

The Busy is as Busy does.
Peace is just that PEACE.

Each time we turn the hour glass of a day, we have either watched the sand go by or stepped through just to get by.

The thoughts that busy us through our days are memories of what we should have lived that very day.

I want to live today for today and watch the grains of sand go by. I want to enjoy the things that will go away. As the SAND goes by we need only to stop~~~~observe the wonders in the sand that come and so quickly go.

Through my eyes may I see a soul~
Through my ears may I hear silent tears~
Through my mouth may softness flow~
Through my mind I choose to be more kind~
Through my hands touch a heart~
Through my heart bring on a new start~

God Love~

I just received this comment hope you are well and not to busy~giggling~I have been in SERIOUS TRANSITION mode for the last two years actually 40 years hehe~Issues I should have worked through long ago. BUT~I am ON MY WAY NOW~I truly love self growth and expansions in our thought process and how easily we bother our thoughts with things that are not anywhere near our plate. Cleaning off the plate makes room for new FOOD~Life~I am so excited I am so close I know it is Time soon so MAY WE MEET THEN~
You are a true inspiration Barb and I enjoy reading your work~LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU IN PERSON SOME DAY~

Thanks again~
OXO
Dear Bunny,

Thank you for sharing ... :-x ...

Intuitively, I have known that "Busy" is not always good and that we ALL need quiet time to recharge our batteries and ourselves ...

But ...

I have also known that life IS short and time on this Earth is finite ... and so ...

I "hele on" ... on each week day I awake at midnight or 1 am depending on whether others are on Daylight Savings time or not ... So, on weekends I can't help but awaken early also unless I went to bed really, really late ... So it is about 4 am where I live, but I am here ... visiting ...

Thank YOU ... I needed to notice YOUR blog post this fine morning ... :) ...

I know I am here for a number of reasons and I am quite positive that one of the reasons is to learn to be more "quiet" ... more in tune with my inner BEing ... Less about the outer definitions of success and more about "alignment" ...

I know I have been compromising in order to be "successful" ... I know my first love IS and WAS and STILL IS ... "psychology" and the LOVE of people and the difference that EACH of us can make in the lives of others who may NEED the information we possess for whatever reason ...

Sometimes, our "inner knowing" IS so much more powerful than all our BUSY-ness and that IS a "good thing" ... I know the larger issues of life engage us when we take the time to "be quiet" and "listen" to the voices that call us ... that beckon us to help ...

Thank YOU for greeting me this fine morning ... I needed this reminder ... and YOUR poetry was EXACTLY what I needed ...

Aloha pume hana,

Barb
