For those who have read my prior post there are some parts that may seem repetitious:

I was new christian of maybe a couple of months. It was my 2nd marriage and I had two young children. I really did NOT have a clue what I was doing. I was on fire for the word and my own salvation and had no clue of what to expect. I was deeply involved with all the weekly functions: Sunday morning~Evening Services, Monday & Wednesday's and found it to be quite strange that no one else in my immediate family were there more realizing now I was the FAMILIES spokesperson. The doors were open I was there~this was and IS a HUGE church in GA~My home of SALVATION~

The year was 1990 My daughter was of girl scout age and I wanted to do something that her and I could share....I stated to a fellow church member of my desire to become a Girl scout leader and to my AWE was shocked to hear her say "NO YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THAT THERE ARE LESBIANS there".....I was truly shocked....isn't it these places where a christian belongs (I WONDERED) I searched my heart for about 2 seconds and signed up for a weekend retreat of training. upon this weekend I met a young girl at the time she was around 15 16 I believe....(Remember I was a new christian I had no IDEA what was in store) Anyway the first day we kina messed around doing jokes and laughing and it amazed me how much she reminded me of myself. The second day came and it was game day. We played a game of lead and copy lining up in two lines across from each other about 20 of us. One would do a cartwheel the one across had to copy... Well this feisty 15year old borderline headed to biker druggie teenager decided she was going to whip the 30 year old Lady's butt (myself) and did like three cart wheels a backbend and a somersault I did her trick and next time through I added the splits. Well she lost that round and needless to say I WON HER heart with that painful trick. lol....After the weekend of fun and bonding unbeknown to me~~~~I invited her to my church house (JUST BECAUSE) Remember I DID NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING I WAS JUST DOING)
After church I asked if she would like to come again the next week (because we hit it off so well & (I thought it might make here ACT better) as in well maybe it will help keep her in school anyway....she said sure why not. The following Sunday as we sat in church i felt a tug on my dress. I batted her hand away several times because I THOUGHT she was playing like my kids did and told her to quit she tugged again I looked in her eyes, I saw a GLOW and she said "No Sharon take me to the alter I want to be saved" OH MAN WHAT A MIND BLOWING EXPERIENCE~She was BAPTIZED the following week and when she came up out of that water SHE WAS RADIANT. WE ALL FELT THE COOLEST THINGS IN OUR SOUL WE HAD EVER EXPERIENCED>>>>>>> >

She is now Married with kids and fully involved in serving our LORD~
Now I must say I DID NOT HAVE A CLUE WHAT I WAS DOING THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS GOING THRU ALL OF THIS~AND IT IS PROBABLY A GOOD THING BECAUSE HAD I TRIED TO DO WHAT ONLY GOD CAN DO I KNOW THAT LITTLE GIRL WOULD BE LOST STILL TODAY~
She wrote me an absolutely beautiful letter if anyone is interested in reading it let me know I WOULD BE PROUD TO POST IT~

I never question when I hear from him I am afraid I will miss a blessing such as this~

CHRIST LOVE TO YOU ALL~
