Lady of the Season Makes Her Entrance

The temperature was down to 50 degrees as I went walking this morning. When I returned home I wrote this small poem to share with you BraveHearts.


Lady Autumn, the touch
of your cool kiss is
in the crisp wind today.
The slightest scent
of harvest lingers
in your tresses, and hints
how quickly red, gold
and orange become your colors
for final celebration of summer’s end.
