ist1_8921225-music-background.jpgEvery person has music within them.
BraveHearts, where is your personal music?

How do you find your personal music?
Every breath you take, every word you speak, every movement your body makes, has its own music.

When you do not intend to see or feel or hear the music within you and around you, you lose the opportunity to 'tune in' to the beauty, the harmony and the poetry that you create.

When you do intend to be aware of the music within and around you, then inside the depth of your breath, inside the essence of your every word, inside the flow of your every movement, you are bound to hear your music.

Begin right now. Intend to find your personal music in the 4 simple movements you are about to take.

1. Sit upright in your chair, leaning back slightly with your head right over your shoulders. Simply notice how that feels as compared to how you were sitting a moment ago.

2. Relax your face into a soft smile.

3. With your hands pressing on your thighs, take a deep breath in as you move your chin to the ceiling (press your torso forward as you inhale).

4. Exhale, Relax, and come back to your original seated position.

You can repeat the 4 movements several times if you wish.
ist1_6928800-3d-music-notes.jpgWhat kind of music did your movement make?
Was it the music of peace? relaxation? clarity? relief?

The above is a tiny sample of being aware of your own music.
Look at patterns in your life.
Be aware of when and how you make your best music.
Tune into your 'music making' more often.

Do you feel the music our BraveHeart Women Community is making? I do!

Love Your Music!!! :-x

How do I find my music? I exercise the courage to wait, the discipline to listen, and the fortitude to plunge forward with the song in my heart and words on the tip of my mouthstick typed on my keyboard to share with the world.

Peace to you~
Mary
Hi Rijuta

Hi Rijuta,

I tried to email you at the address shown on your profile but was unable to make contact.
Hi Donna,

I will send you a personal message.
Rijuta
OH thanks!!!!!! I will have to consider doing that :) As I progress understanding how to get around on this site and communicating with others. BTW I excepted the invite but I am not sure how to invite back haha but I am surfing around trying to figure things out.. For instance how do you access anothers profile so you can see their screenname to invite them to your friends list? bTW sorry to ask this here on your blog when this is for your comments .

Donna
Hi Donna,

Just as you commented on my blog about 'personal music' you can also write a blog. Just click on 'My Content', the green tab on the upper right hand side, then click on blog. This will open a window so you can write your own blog.

You can also go to the Video tutorials for directions.
Good luck!!!

ps your secret about writing is safe with your BraveHeart sisters ~ ~ ~ ;)
Hey!!!!!!!!!!

As you know I am new to all this stuff so I do not know what you mean by "my blog" haha. As for my poetry...I have to be honest...there have only been a select few that I have shared any of my poetry with. I have to feel confident and comfortable with the person I share them with ...Only because..I feel when I share my poetry its more or less letting another individual read your innermost thoughts and feelings sort of like reading your heart..Leaving yourself completely wide open for all to see haha.. And although I love writing...the truth is.. Not many know I write haha Its actually my little secret or private passion. Although I'm not so sure its a secret anymore haha

Donna
Hello again Donna!

Because the exercise was a 'little' one, you would perhaps have to repeat it until you saw some kind of change in yourself, especially the slow and deep breathing.

Regarding your feelings about your own music: "I think here I can say ..."words" are my thing. Love to communicate, express myself honestly and truthfully." , I agree; your honesty, thoughtfulness and willingness to share all add to your 'music'. :)

Would love to see some of your poetry on your blog!!! ;)
Gratitude,

Hello!!!!!

I just love the way you put things. It really makes you think deeply. I also love the comparison of us all having our own music within us. Now I did try your little exercise but I must be honest and tell you I am not so sure I saw any of the results you mentioned such as (peace, relaxation, clarity or relief) only because I am currently overstressed haha. But if I had to pick one I would say maybe a bit of relief with the out going breath. So if I did it a bit longer maybe the results would be more significant. As far as finding my own music..I think here I can say ..."words" are my thing. Love to communicate, express myself honestly and truthfully. Also love learning from others picking their brains haha.. And I would also tell you that even though you used the word "poetry" describe " the music within us..I would have to say that I love writing poetry!!!! That is honestly a part of who I am.:)

looking forward to more good thoughts..
Donna
