During our daily routine, we often become tried, exhausted and feel that we really need to rest. What do you do?

When this happens to you - and it happens to all of us - change your activity. Around three or four o'clock in the afternoon, you may need to get up from your desk or your computer to walk around a bit, get a drink of water or have a small snack. Other times, you may wish to do a few stretches or go outside for a ten-minute walk.

For those of you who are experienced in meditation, set your intention to bring in new energy and more light into your system. In this way you will renew and refresh your entire being. We now know that everything is energy. If this is so, what we want to do is free ourselves of 'stale' or 'stuck' energy and totally renew and refresh ourselves.

You can also renew your energy by taking several deep and fulfilling breaths of gratitude. On the inhalation, breath deeply into all of the spaces in your body and hold for a moment. On the exhalation, send your energy down deep into the earth in order to ground yourself. On the exhalation, allow your fatigue and stuck energy to leave your being through every cell, disappearing to the ends of the Universe.

With practice, you will increase your capacity. Remember, this is not hocus-pocus, you are moving your stale and stuck energies out and receiving in new and refreshing light, or energy .

Keep yourself energized, creative and productive during your day. You will be healthier, more alert and will more readily access your soul-power. Stay in your highest consciousness to enable yourself to more quickly and easily move toward your goals and dreams.

How do you renew your energy?

Hi Audie,

I could have guessed what you would do: "Taking a walk with my dogs is my "cobweb" clearer!!!! as being with your furry friends is so close to your heart.

Like you, many times I don't realize I need a break until I take one or my back starts to hurt or some other sign that I should move. Very often I set my kitchen stove timer (my office is right next door) so I must get up to shut it off . . . . ;)

Dear Rijuta,

Your tips on renewing our energy are right on. Sometimes I can be so focused on what I am doing that I don't even realize that I need break.... until I take one. I am then so much more creative and productive.

Taking a walk with my dogs is my "cobweb" clearer!!!!

Great tips, Rijuta,

I usually take a ten minute walk in the beautiful park a short distance from our home. To reconnect with nature in this way works wonders for me.

Many thanks.

Dear Rijuta,

Taking a short break to refresh our energy and renew our spirit is good advice...!!!
I can always feel the difference when I do so. ;)

Just stepping outside on the deck to breathe in fresh air, or stretching a bit, or a quick walk with the dogs is all that is necessary to re-focus my soul power and enjoy the new beginnings of the afternoon.

Thanks for the reminder...:-x
