How to FEEL Your Intuition

How can you FEEL your intuition? ?:|
One of the best ways we can know what our intuition is trying to tell us is through our feelings or through symptoms we become aware of in our body
.

We typically feel these sensations in our heart, in our stomach or in our hands. All of a sudden our heart starts beating more rapidly; our hands become cold, or sweaty; our stomach feels tense or upset. All of these feelings are easily recognizable.

On the other hand, many of our intuitive feelings are much more subtle. We simply FEEL our intuition to be true in the moment.

Intuition has nothing to do with the reasoning or analysis of the mind.
Intuition is not justified or questioned.
Often when our intuition reaches our awareness, our mind tells us, “I don’t have time for that!”; or, “Why spend money on that?”; or, “I am too busy!”

Intuition is always trying to help us by giving little nudges or hints or we could even call them warnings. Alas, how many times have we failed to listen?

Feeling: “It is so warm today.” Intuition voice: “Stop for a bottle of water.”

Feeling: “I am going to be late for the meeting.” Intuition voice: “Turn left at the light.”

Feeling: “Something is missing.” Intuition voice: “Take your sunglasses today.”

BELIEVE in your own intuition.
Begin to look for examples of not only your intuition, but others as well.

Keep a silent space in your mind from time to time so intuition can slip in. For example, when you get into your car just before driving off, stay quiet for 20-30 seconds. You will be surprised at how many times you remember something you were supposed to have with you. Or, your alertness will be heightened to protect your safe travel.

At any given moment, practice concentrating on the feelings you are having. Set an intention to be aware of your feelings for the next hour. For most of us, that will be a brand new experience and a very helpful one. ;)

Each of us feels our intuition in different ways at different times.
We all have stories of how we were rewarded in some way by listening to our intuition. Care to share?

Dear Linda,

Wonderfully inspiring example of how you listened to your intuition! :)
With the necessary confidence in your SELF, you took ACTION in response to the inner message that you received.

Your Mother's soul was undoubtedly grateful that you were by her side during her last couple of days here on earth. Although one year has passed, I am certain that she is still grateful ~

Much admiration for your courage to follow your inner voice, Linda. :-x

Thank you for sharing!

Dear Rijuta,

Intuition is a powerful energy within us if we REALLY 'listen' and 'feel' it.
And yes, the feellings can be overwhelming. However when I have remained grounded and confident in my SELF, I have experienced great peace in that space of awareness and appreciation.

My greatest experience was in the sudden turn in my Mother's health. I was at a BraveHeart event yet I listened to my intuition to get to get to her in Texas immediately! I did...and she then passed away less than 2 days later. My intuition moved me there (I listened) and being grounded carried me through the next several days. It is difficult to believe that was March 2010...almost one year!

Thank you, dear BraveHeart Sister, for your loving and inspiring insights.

In Gratitude...:-x
