ist1_3651112-anxiety.jpgFor those who wish to learn how to free your mind of worries and anxieties, you will need to do several things. First, you must realize that when you carry worries and anxieties with you, this is unnecessary weight and an extra burden. :| You are just adding to your daily challenges and difficulties.

You want to be free of this energy-stealer, this daily poisoning of your consciousness. How?

Practice. Practice. Practice.

1) Practice emptying the mind. The very second you find yourself identifying with your fears, insecurities, anxieties, move away from that identification. Throw those thoughts out to the farthest corners of the universe.

2) Practice establishing peace in the mind. Be vigilant. Rather than let the worry-thief rob you of your peace and poise, replace the worry-thief by breathing in peace then exhale, sending that peace throughout your entire being. Continue, until you are once again poised.

3) Practice making the mind calm and quiet. Rather than allow the tortures of the mind to rule your day, concentrate the mind on one-pointed stillness, calmness and quietude.

We must take inner and outer action steps to reach any goal.
Practice ~ ~ ~ until you reach your own sense of excellence with the above three steps. You will quickly learn how to free your mind of worries and anxieties.

All three steps can be practiced during your daily routine. No need to sit in solitude or go hide somewhere while you practice, although that may be helpful. Noone will know that you are challenging the darkness and welcoming the light of peace.

Begin today! Free your mind of worries and anxieties! :)

Hi Rijuta

Thank you for posting your words of wisdom...I loved it
I appreciate you and sending lots of joy your way
Hi Audie,

Thank you for your excellent tip: 'Cancel, cancel"! So simple; so quick! ;)

NLP can be a great help here for those who are familiar.
We can train and condition ourselves to respond immediately to a word, a sound or a touch.

I will use 'cancel, cancel' next time I need to clear my mind.

Audie, great tip, thank you!

Hi Rijuta,

Great words of wisdom here. If we want to succeed practice is required in everything we do.

One very easy tip I can offer for part 1..Emptying the mind.... When I have an unwanted thought pop into my mind I say the word "cancel" twice. By practicing this it has become a habit and it works quite well.

Thanks for sharing in your area of expertise,

Audie

Hello Sheila,

As you say, for some, practice is like homework and there is resistance. Practice also means establishing some kind of discipline so that one does the practice on a regular basis.

When there is enough 'why' or motivation, discipline comes with ease and therefore, practice is done with ease.

Congratulations Sheila on having an effective 'practice' that you now rely on.

With admiration and gratitude,
Rijuta

Aloha Rijuta,
Thanks for your words of wisdom. It is so true that practice is the answer. Many of us feel practice is like homework when we were children, so we resist. In time my practice has become my life line when the dark side starts to take over my mind. blessings of gratitude, Sheila Radha
