Listen With Your Heart, Rather Than With Your Mind

When we listen with our heart rather than with our mind, there is far less chance for misunderstanding and far greater chance for real communication.

Why listen with the heart? The heart has the capacity to listen with more light, more love and more oneness than the mind.
The mind knows light, love and oneness only through its intellect.

Sometimes when we are listening with the mind, we are hearing what another is saying but we may not be truly listening.
What we hear may last for a few seconds at best.
When we truly listen with our heart to another, then we are taking into our heart-space the meaning and the essence of what is being said.

When we listen with the mind, the outer words may be saying one thing but the actual meaning may be something entirely different.
We will know the real meaning only when we listen with our heart.

Listening with the heart helps one to truly understand what is being said because the heart and the soul are in close proximity.
Being closely aligned with the soul, the heart has deeper understanding than the mind.
