Meet our new friend Deerheart Hummingbird!

May I introduce you to our new dynamic American Indian friend, Deerheart Hummingbird.
In her own words:

"Hello there,
I’d like to thank you for such a warm welcome to the community. I am very excited to be a part of this very positive and powerful community.

I have not been able to visit and explore the site as much as I would like at this time as I am entertaining out of town guest for this week. I am also preparing to fly to Austin, Texas on March 10-April 6, 2009. A friend and I will be holding a few workshops in Wimberley and San Marcos, Texas.

On March 25, I have a speaking engagement the topic, "Perspectives on Women's Self Esteem" at Texas State University. My itinerary for the Texas visit is full; I look forward to meeting new friends and seeing old friends. For the month of April I am hoping to attend the “Gathering of Nation” in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The month of May I will attend Pow-Wows in Illinois, the month of June I will attend “The Sacred Sundance” at Pine Ridge, South Dakota with the Lakota people, the month of July I will attend “The Green Corn Ceremony” in Tahlequah, Oklahoma with the Cherokee and Choctaw people. I could go on and on about all the wonderful places I am hoping to be, but the list is too long.
