Thrilled With My Organic Tomato Plants

Last summer I had mostly tomato plants in my tiny garden (I say tiny because my Dad had a garden that required a tractor.) I also had peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, basil and parsley, but my tomatoes were most plentiful. I bought regular plants from the nursery and they tasted most delicious.

This year, while shopping at one of the huge organic markets, I noticed that they had a large outdoor section of organic plants. Needless to say, I stopped by and bought 5 or 6 organic tomatoes - nothing else. I felt they would be more healthful than the ones from the nursery. Since then we have had so much rain, that I did not plant any other vegetable.

Two days ago I picked my first organic cherry tomatoes, ripe off of the vine. OMG~ they were so sweet and tasty. I didn't even wait until I got inside to wash them. I ate them right then and there. Pure delight! I had a 'living in the moment' experience. :-D B-)

Here I was, wondering what Mother Nature was up to with so much rain. But she gave me her most delicious bounty anyway!
Today I got a few more, including a couple of larger tomatoes.

Why am I writing about my organic tomatoes? Because I want to offer my gratitude to the Universe for the simple pleasures of life. I guess I could say 'Mother Nature' is one of my treasures that I cherish. :-x

Gratitude
(and yum) :-D :-p

Thank you!
Dear Grazyna,
Dear Lisa,
Dear Phebe, and
Dear Deborah,

For joining me in my organic cherry tomato patch.
In a few more days, I will have enough tomatoes so you can all come over and we'll have a beautiful and tasty salad!

It's fun to have friends who also appreciate Mother Nature and her cherry tomato bounty!
With love,
Rijuta

Dear Rijuta,

I can see a picture of you smiling at your tomatoes and I smile.:)
Then, I picture myself and other braveheart ladies in their organic gardens, I laugh and I have tears in my eyes, at the same time.

I believe, all of us has a dream of living in a harmony with nature and sharing it's wonderful fruits.
It seems to be a reality for many already, that's great!
I will too, have my organic garden one day, I am absolutely sure of it. B-).
But for now, I enjoy and savor, the sahred delight and joy you have from yours.
It is also bringing some good memories from my childhood, when all this was natural and a part of our daily life.

Thank you for "sharing" the fruits of your garden with us. :-x
