Appreciating life as it is TODAY!

Posted Dec 1, 2009 12:02 AM
This past weekend I had the great pleasure of going to visit my friends in the town I moved from in June.

I must say as I was leaving on Sunday morning it was a bitter sweet feeling for a moment or two. I had thoughts running through my head. My ego was going crazy!!!

As I was driving down the highway, the thoughts began.... I shouldn't have moved... why didn't I realize how good it was.... AND THEN SUDDENLY I THOUGHT TO MYSELF HOW RIDICULOUS THIS WAS!!!

I so to say, snapped out of it. I took myself to a place of gratitude.... I allowed myself to remember that everything happens exactly as it is supposed too! That this is yet another lesson, to appreciate, to find the good in every situation in my life. And to TRUST the process!

I know that I was supposed to move when I did, and with that I also have increased my appreciation. I like to call my transition periods 'growth spurts' This is not the first time I have moved and uprooted and essentially started over in a new community. Yes times can be tough in the beginning, yet it pays off ten fold every time. I personally grow so much in the first few months. I take leaps and bounds that I never would have imagined myself doing.

This time is no different!! I am on the right journey... and it's perfect just the way it is!

Hi Crystal

How great for you! Knowing that you made the right deciscion, following your purpose by following your intuition. Sometimes we do things (make the commitment) before we fully realize the why of it all (clarity). I find it always opens more doors than it closes.:-x

Making the transition to the new place has provided yourself and your daughters some great opportunities, yet you can also be grateful for the past...the friends, the memories you made there.

Your daughters will also learn to appreciate the strength that you display, the courage to do what is right for you (and them). What a great role model you are!!!

I realized that as well... it is a great place to go visit. It reminds me of the incredible leaps and bounds I have grown since becoming a part of this incredible community. I know that I made more friends, connections and relationships with amazing people than ever before in my life. Although I also know that this move was very necessary! Love to you my dear~

Kate~
You too are shining brightly my friend! Good for you~ And here's to our journey together!!!

Oh expansion of the brain power is for certain!!!!! I am consistently amazed at the tests I put myself through :)

Linda~
I couldn't agree more! Thank you!

Oh the second thoughts!! I choose to not allow regret into my life. I believe it is a waste of energy! I instead allow gratitude for the journey... the lessons... the tests... and the end result of acknowledging my successes as well as the bumps along the way... for each of those bumps gets me one step closer to a success!!!!!

With Love,
Crystal

Aloha Crystal,

GOOD FOR YOU!! I was MUCH older than you are before I learned to trust...:(

We are all blessed ( however hairball those blessings seem at the time! )with exactly the events that benefit us most....

Our willingness to see that is sometimes slow in catching up!

Shine brightly....and...LET IT BE FUN ! !B-)

You are such a fine example to us all!

Love to you and the girls!

Linda

and a belated Happy Thanksgiving to you! *burp*
Hi Crystal! :-D It really touched my heart when you said "I took myself to a place of gratitude." You made me feel that it's okay to take your self there, even though we have so much to be thankful for, we are human to be honest and feel out of place...but we can always know a place to go within and feel better.

Thank you so much for sharing! :-x

Dear Crystal,

Thank you for sharing! ... :-x ...

Any major decision brings with it second thoughts ... usually.

I am amazed at the transitions you have been through in your life. You must love excitement ... ;) ...

I am also amazed at the way you have handled being a single Mom of two beautiful daughters ... :-x ... You have done extremely well ... I am a single Mom, also, but the situation did not present itself till after 25 years of marriage and my son was out of college. So, I have tremendous respect for you and how you are handling your situation with seeming ease.

Some will face forks in the road of life with rationalizations ... B-) ... It is truly enlightening to see the BHW Community embracing what I trust we have been taught ... to trust in the process .... ;) ...

I know it is easier said than done ... I am still working my way through Easier Done than Said... :-D ...

Leaps of faith take a great deal of trust and I believe those of you who have been through RELEASE have learned to accept that with aplomb ... Those of us who have not yet gone through the process can only look on with awe ... B-) ...

I know that I have been presented with that proverbial "fork in the road," but things are soooo good now that I doubt I can take that leap of faith, even when there is trust ... LOL! ... :^OB-) ...

I AM rationalizing and I AM getting off the track, but I did want to applaud your growth, your faith and trust, and your obvious movement in the right direction ... I'll watch with great interest ... Ah, the joys of youth and vibrancy!!! ...

So, you go girl! ...

Aloha pume hana,

Barb
