A Challenge ~ Pursue Harmony!

Posted Aug 18, 2009 07:23 PM
As a Core Inner Circle member, I have the privilege of listening to several core mastermind calls and as of recently, the Prosperity Hormone (PH) calls. As a mentee in the PH Mentoring Program, Ellie has recorded morning and evening affirmations to help us become more intentional in developing and increasing our PH.

While listening to the morning affirmations, I got stuck on one affirmation: "Congruence ~ The Universe has a huge ear with which it picks up congruence in thoughts and therefore aligned intentions. The Universe prefers to hear harmony and rewards it. I choose to cooperate with the Universe." As I listened to her affirmation a few times, I became fascinated the with word harmony.

As a therapist, I rarely see clients start therapy in harmony; however, it is my hope and prayer that by the time they terminate, they are in full harmony ~ body, soul and spirit.

What is harmony?

Harmony is such an amazing word. Its actual definition is: a musical agreement of sounds, a pleasing arrangement of parts, internal calm. After reading the definition, I realized that our body, soul and spirit should be an agreement of sound (definition: not dis-eased or sickly), a pleasing arrangement - something that brings a feeling of pleasure, and calm - serene.

That said, harmony is the experience of having horizontal and vertical connectedness with God, the Universe, ourselves and others ~ all dimensions of life working together for my/our highest good. In addition, harmony is internal and external connectedness in action. Meaning, we should be doing something everyday in our body, soul and spirit that brings about and promotes harmony.

Spiritual development is an individual expression of our faith and belief in something greater than ourselves. What do you believe in and are you pursuing spiritual harmony regularly?

As I continue to learn about the PH, I am coming to understand that it is formed, increased and manifested when I am internally, externally, horizontally and vertically in harmony with all that is. This realization holds me accountable to the parts of myself that I know I'm not in complete harmony with.

I encourage you to join me in a challenge. For the next 30 days, I want you to pursue harmony and report back on your experience. Do whatever you need to do to connect to and develop your self spiritual harmony. Even without being a member of the Core Inner Circle, you can begin to increase the manifestation of living your life abundantly and outrageously well. However, if you want to expedite your experience, I recommend that you join the Core Inner Circle immediately and together let's get in harmony!

Much love,

Peace!

Dear Anita,

I love singing, especially with others, where we create harmony.. I feel so "with Spirit" when it happens.

Harmony is a powerful metaphor for the unity of Life and the power of Love that creates it.

Thank you for the reminder of harmony!

Aloha Anita,

Thank you for your insightful words. I think of harmony as synonymous with inner peace. The music of my body, mind and spirit are within the stillness of my heart, when I am in a state of Peace about myself and others I am in complete harmony with all.

I use morning practices such as: chi gong, meditation and contemplation to begin my day in Peace.

If during the day I sense I am not in Peace I sense in and embrace the discord with non judgmental self awareness, which brings me back to Peace. When I am not able to do this. I know my task is to accept where I am with compassion and know "this too shall pass".

I wish you peace, joy and love. Sheila Radha

We are in the same flow of thoughts Anita. I have been thinking on harmony for the past week and your blog was just what "my personal therapy" needed. :-x
Hi Anita,

Your post is shared from your heart....thank you for enlightening us to an open awareness of harmony and the peace it brings to our lives.

For me to feel in harmony, I take time to start my day with devotions and positive inspirations to connect with my Source...to an awareness of the new beginnings of a new day. This time creates a balance for my day and happiness for my life. :)

May harmony surround you each day...:-x

Anita,

"Harmony" is one of my favorite words and goals.

After getting more deeply into a topic of "Prosperity Hormone", I understood how much oxytocin I needed in the stressful life I was living and how much I was denying it to myself in the process. Most of the time, I was trying to create a "harmony' for others-neglecting my own balance until the things felt not harmonious at all.

I am slowing down now....true harmony is coming my way. ;)

Have a great, oxytocin-full day. :-x

Anita, your post is most interesting!

For me to feel in harmony, I must take time to connect with the Source within, at the beginning of each day and at night before retiring.

It is what allows me to feel grounded, on purpose and to set my desired intentions.

Blessing to you in all ways, always.
