Yes, Anita, transformation was the name of the game during our whole wide, wonderful weekend!!! Is there anyone who came away without having been transformed in some way??? I am so happy to have been at Rise with you, and to have experienced your very special generosity of spirit... a quality within myself that requires constant surveillance, and sometimes eludes me entirely...  I believe that the finest thing we, as human forms of our eternal oneness, can strive for, is to be the example of 'Rising" to our highest spiritual plane, and living with an open heart... This is what I see in you. You honor us all in your "presence." You serve this world with your example. In other words, when I grow up, I want to be just like you, my beautiful BraveHeart friend in heart. Thank you, Dr. Ellie and Dr. Sugar ... and every other BraveHeart Woman ... and to ALL the supporting cast members ... Thank you to Gloria Loring and ALL the other special and celebrity guests ... I was surprised and thrilled that many who I have "encountered" on the web came to LIFE at RISE ... OMG! I could not believe some of the "names come to LIFE" on the stage this past weekend. I am still recuperating because I am a "head person" with a LOT of "cellular memory" which caused me to decide to leap out of my "comfort zone" and at least sign up for the 3-day Dr. Sugar retreat. Will I show up? ... Don't know. Am I ready? ... Maybe. But, I got 10 tickets to share with other sisters whom I KNOW will benefit from going to RISE 2010, so it was ALL worth it whether I find the courage to go and "get rid" of my "cellular memory" or not.  ... It's called making an investment in this community! ...  ... I have already shared a great deal with a lot of my sisters and I plan to share a LOT more when I find the energy to do so. I suffer from fibromyalgia and have spent years and years searching for relief. My Rolfer, who I found just within the last year, has been a godsend. I TRUST that the many sisters I met at RISE are also godsends who will help me find my way back to my authentic self which has ALWAYS been with me, but which has, by choice, been kept beneath the surface for my "professional" needs ... LOL! Anyhoo, my fibro kept me from the evening events ... but, even without them, RISE was an AWESOME experience. I need to help my "head" catch up with my "heart" because I am the cautious type and I tend to NEED to dot my i's and cross my t's. It has led to success in my professional life, but my professional life has required me to be low-key in almost everything I try to do. "THEY" seem to control my life ... even when I am supposed to be in my private life. I can't Twitter ... though I would love to try. I can't do a LOT of things PROSCRIBED by the compliance attorneys and people of that nature - you know the ones who tie your hands and try to control you in almost every possible way. LOL! I KNOW this and yet I let it be ... Hmmmmm ... RISE! ... The calling came in a most unusual way and that I made my way to RISE ... well, it would surprise even the most innovative of spiritual people. I have ALWAYS been a spiritual person ... grounded in insights and inspiration ... Or, should I say given flight through insights and inspiration? ... ... IF you wish to get to know me better ... kindly go to Google and type "barbnf" ... There are some things I CAN DO in my private life with a moniker or username that I can't do with my real name. I have had "The Think Tank" community since 2003 - due to my LOVE of Michelle W. Kwan and the figure skating community. "The Think Tank" had a most unusual "birth" and was "given" to me by an online sister whom I have NEVER MET! ... God is an AWESOME God. RISE! sisters ... RISE! ... Thank you, Dr. Ellie and Dr. Sugar, for a life-altering weekend ... Where will it lead? ... Let's see what develops, shall we? ... ... ... ... Have a wonder-filled, kwanderful day, everyone! ... Aloha Anita, Every word you wrote resonates in my heart. This is the first convention I have ever attended and the bar is very high for excellence, inspiration, love, connection and passion of purpose. All of the beauty and love and warmth of my BraveHeart sisters have touched me deeply and I am transformed. I have found what I have longed for, a community. Everyone of you assisted in making this true for me and I am grateful. I will soon start my own community within BraveHeart because there is no where else I want to be. I am planning an evening with my dearest friends to speak about Braveheart and invite them all to become part of our future. On the plane flying home I told the women next to me and she is joining.
