Good Morning My BraveHeart Sisters!
I hope you're making an internal intention to live outrageously well this week.
Living a fulfilling life requires intention and action. You know this! The old cliche "Knowledge is power" is a great one, but unless you put that knowledge to work, it's really just information.
This weekend, although very active, was a great weekend because a few girlfriends and I decided to put more action to our knowledge by creating a REAL vision board.
Ok, I'm not a frilly kind of girl. I LOVE being a woman, but frills, at times, bug me. Well, I share this with you because one of my girlfriends decided to bring several BIG boxes of frills (scrapbook items - dear God, my living was overflowing with stickers, pressed flowers, cards, papers, pens, etc.). My initial response when I saw everything was, "Oh my God. I'm surrounded by high school girls." However, I have to admit, it was GREAT fun!!! - Rest assured, I'm not running out to start a scrapbook collection

. But if asked, I'd do it again.
Anyway, during the process of creating this vision board, I had a very strange experience. Although I hate to admit it, I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and a little (very little) obsessive compulsive, which really manifested itself during this project (BTW, I'm not very artistic unless I'm cooking then I'm a fake Martha Stewart). I had such a hard time putting everything on the board in some "coherent" order. Instead of just letting my spirit and purpose lead the way in creating my vision board, I got really caught up into making it perfect. Of course, this became comical because I was the slow poke in finishing and always seem to have some comment to make about something...
You'll be proud to know that I
did finish my vision board and it's
beautiful
. It only took me, oh I'd say six hours to complete, LOL - but it's done! By the time I finished my board, it was 2 a.m. Mind you, all of us were up laughing, talking and creating, but along the way, I got lost in making it right instead of making it an experience in the moment and fun.
My business partner, who is also my dearest friend, caught on to my plight and challenged me to break out of trying to make it perfect and let my spirit and heart take over. Stopping for a moment to reflect upon what she said, I took a deep breath, focused my heart intention and vision and then suddenly, everything slowly began to fell into place. Now, my vision board is nicely hanging on my bedroom wall so that it is the first thing I see in the morning.
As I sat looking at my creation, I began to feel as if my dreams and vision for my life were coming true... it was real! As my body, soul and spirit connected to each item, my energy and emotions started to rise giving way to an excitement I haven't felt for a little while. Why? Human beings are moreso moved by sight! Needing and having some type of instant experience often causes us to respond or take action.
So, my question to you is, do you have vision?
Have you taken your personal truth(s), philosophy in life, dreams and aspirations and made them real? If not, I strongly encourage you to make your passion, purpose and mission a tangible experience by creating a vision board.
You've all heard about the Law of Attraction ~ "Like attracts like" ~ what you focus on, you attract. Having a vision board can be one of the most powerful and forceful motivators one can have to promote change and usher in success.
As we prepare physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for RISE, intentionally prepare your VISION and together, let's SEE what happens!
Live Outrageously Well,
Anita
