Dr. Sugar, dear BraveHeart Sister... This is so timely and beautifully said. Thank you for sharing your insights...and the precious story of the children's presentation. Our children see with eyes of wonder and clarity those things that become "clouded" as we grow older. Love this quote... The greatest gift is love. Let us be slow to judge and quick to forgive, show patience, empathy & share our love with humanity. Love is the greatest gift we can give...and receive. Much love to you in all you do. In Gratitude.... Linda Kay Holden New Beginnings Community Thanks Rijuta. Inspiration in Action to me means each and every day doing the best you can, being authentic, being grounded, being present, and always taking little steps towards your dreams! For me part of being present is remembering that those little things that we can sometimes become too busy for ... mean SO much to those little children. Whenever I am sitting in the audience and they look around and find you..... their eyes just light up and a smile fills their face. I remember that same feeling I had when I was a little girl and would look off the stage of some performance and search and search until I found my parents. That inner knowing that someone is there just to see you is so special. Love to you my BraveHeart sister! Dr. Sugar Dear Dr. Sugar, Your message is so needed at this point in time ~ Thank you for sharing about your daughter's presentation. I believe that these young children often have much more depth and understanding than is sometimes apparent. All admiration to you for supporting and loving your daughter by going to her school to see her perform. Another example of your 'Inspiration in Action'!!! Much love, Rijuta Creative Concentration Community Cathy, Thank you for your comments and for allowing more love and compassion in your life. My 8-year-old daughter's 3rd grade class did the most touching skit in school this morning .... I arrived not knowing anything except that her class was presenting.... the skit was about how we can all get so caught up in our lives and being friendly to our friends.... but when a stranger shows up how so many of us turn a cold shoulder and look away instead of offering the stranger a smile or a kind word. It was so well done. I don't know if the kids understood the depth of what they were doing but as I sat watching.... it brought a tear to my eye. With Love, Wellness & Compassion, Dr. Sugar P.S. Cathy with a C - - I love seeing you here at Brave Heart Women!!!! Bless you Dr. Sugar. That was beautiful. In our everyday busy lives, it is so easy to forget that we no nothing of what goes on in others' lives and people can so easily become "obstacles" to what ever mission we are on -be it getting to work or going to the gym -- if we don't take the time and make the effort to live in awareness. I have no doubt that tomorrow I will treat someone with more love and compassion because of your post. With Joy, Love and Courage, Cathy Allison, I am very much enjoying the LONGEVITY GARDEN!!!! I read somewhere that we should all write our hurts in the sand and carve our joy in stone..... very much in line with what you say about leaving judgments in the dust! Thank you for your comment and thank you for all you do! Love, Dr. Sugar Judith, Yes indeed, If we do but one thing each day, perhaps it should be to allow ourselves to awaken a bit more to the expansive love that is within us all. Thank you for commenting, Dr. Sugar Chickee, Happy Birthday my friend! Yes indeed, Everyone has a story. Love, Dr. Sugar Thanks for sharing Dr. Sugar. That made tears prick behind my eyes. Thanks for your reminder to walk with compassion at our side, while we leave judgments in the dust. Much love, Alison founder of The Longevity Garden Yes, so true to the core Dr. Sugar As we move through our day we never know who and what we might experience. And it just maybe a moment to pause and remember that our love can expand even more than before. Such opportunities to grow from and live more awakened in the gift of love that is given to All. Thank you for sharing! Judith So many stories all around us that we don't even realize are there. Thanks for sharing, Dr. Sugar. Chickee
