How to Prepare the Bird!

My thanksgivings weren't always Hallmark moments. My mother insisted on doing it all herself. Then understandably she grew tired and weary and that's when things got uncomfortable. She'd ask people she invited there why they didn't have jobs and god forbid if you were late, that was unforgivable. Never mind the ten car pile up with fatalities, her dinner was served at 2pm. Mom has rage issues. My advise is LET PEOPLE HELP YOU! AND if you nasty side wants to come out and play. Take a break! It's way less traumatizing on people's childhood memories and on your guests. Plus it leaves way less to regret in the weeks to come.
