Any body else going through Labor Pains?

Posted Feb 4, 2009 02:33 PM
After I was done with the Lisa Nichols interview, we were chatting outside the recording room. She was telling me about her "No Matter What" tour and what that means to her... And then, she took her hands and put them on my belly and said "I know you too are going through labor pains".

She continued to say that our dreams are only given to us...Actually to quote her, this is what she said:

"We are the only ones who are impregnated with our dreams. Others may not see it because we are the person that dream was given to. So, we'll be the only ones who'll have to feel the pain of labor."

She still had her hand on my belly as she was saying that.... And do you want to know something crazy?

I actually felt metaphorical labor pains in that moment. I think it was more like my acknowledgment of this journey of giving birth that made me realize I was pregnant up to my ears! :O

Seriously, I had tears in my eyes... On some level, I wanted to nurture the dream more until it was ready to be born, and on some other level I wanted to scream in a tribal way and push it out...

In the mean time, I believe what I have to do now is to be the type of person who is ready to carry the dream... Maybe it's waiting for me!

Hi Ellie,

I am feeling a huge pain the last two months, ready to burst forth, but it is in my chest, the heart area.

No..no.. not a heart attack..

I believe that my true spirit is bursting forth. The Authentic Lesley wants to emerge and be seen.

"UNPACKAGEABLE SPIRIT"
I almost forgot to breathe... that brought back some memories. I can relate to Donna's feeling of pregnant for too long and ready to give birth to my passion.

You have stretched me and I having such a great time meeting and growing in my Passion Parent Communities.

I love the analogy you have shared. Lots to ponder carrying a dream - labor pains of a dream and giving birth to the results of the dream - taking action towards our dream.

Thank you for sharing your Beingness.

Dearest Ellie,I can relate to the labor pains.... I feel like I have been pregnant for 2 years with my dream and not willing to give birth... I related it to when labor started with my 2nd daughter I told the doctor I changed my mind I did not want to give birth as all the pain memory came back from my first... But to my joy and relief the pain was no way near intense and 2 pushes and I was done... thank you for bringing this to my mind I should not allow fear stop me from bringing forth that witch I am laboring with... You have given me hope and a great analogy once again that I will use over and over again.... Thank You,Love and Sunshine, Donna Tsiknas

WOW!!!!

That is so well put! Labor pains! Indeed!!!!

I want to thank you Ellie, because indeed it is not easy to follow your purpose. Eventhough at the beginning things begin to flow effortlessly there does come a time of resistance but the key is not to give up and to go thru those labor pains!!!

Thank you Ellie! May God Bless You!!!:)
